Help! Downloading Adobe XI
I'm trying to download a purchased Adobe Xi but the app centre tells me that it's "up to date". I've tried uninstalling the trial version, but it still won't give me an option to download and keeps saying it's up to date.
Any ideas??

I am having trouble downloading adobe reader. I have tried numerous times and I am getting a message saying fatal error occured. I tried the troubleshooting tips from the website and I tried downloading it from the direct link. I tried disabling my antivirus software. Still is not working. Any ideas?
Can you try do download and run the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
If that still gives you an error, can you try to download the 10.1.0 MSI installer http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.1.0/en_US/AdbeRdr1010_en_US.msi (English version) / http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.1.0/he_IL/AdbeRdr1010_he_IL.msi (Hebrew version). -

If it's saying that you need to close firefox before you can continue, do this:
# Hit Ctrl-Alt-Del
# Click Task Manager
# After this, you'll want to left click on the process which says "firefox.exe".
# You'll also want to close ANYTHING that says "plugin-container.exe", as this is what holds firefox's plug in's and is part of it.
If what you've said above is true and it's complaining that you need to close firefox first, then this is all you have to do.
Alternatively, if you can't find task manager, simply restart your computer; Firefox doesn't boot on start.
You can also make sure that ALL windows are closed from Firefox, including the download window. Any of the above should fix your problem.
I also noticed you stated you're using firefox 5.0. The most recent version is 6.0. You can go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/new/ to download the newest version. -

I'm trying to download and install Adobe Flash Player. I uninstalled all versions of Flash Player. I have the Adobe Download manager still loaded and the Adobe Photo Shop and the Adobe Reader still loaded. I use Mozilla Firefox version 3.6.8.
I'm getting an error when trying to download. The error states Adobe Download Manager - The download cannot continue. error parsing voucher. The file is gp.xpi I don't have a fully functional Microsoft Explorer browser. I need technical help downloading Adobe Flash Player. I use XP professional operating system. I have a Dell Dimension 8100. If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 7. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
You might have to log out or reboot before a Flash update takes effect.
Step 2
In the Safari preference window, select
Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
Close the window. Then select
▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.
Step 3
If you're only having trouble with YouTube videos, log in to YouTube and load this page. You may see a link with the text "Leave the HTML5 Trial." If so, click that link.
Step 4
If you get a warning of a "blocked" or "outdated" plug-in, then from the menu bar select
▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Check Now. Quit and relaunch the browser.
If the warning persists, triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the highlighted text and select
Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open. Inside it, there should be a file named "XProtect.meta.plist". If that file is missing and you know why it's missing, restore it from a backup or copy it from another Mac running the same version of OS X. Otherwise, reinstall OS X.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select

from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
Step 5
Open this folder as in Step 4:

Delete the following item, or anything with a similar name, if present:
Flash Player (failing).plugin
You may be prompted for your login password.
Step 6
Re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from the domain "get.adobe.com". Don't click a link from any other website, including this one, because you can't trust links. They may be an attempt to trick you into installing malware masquerading as Flash. Type the address into the browser window. Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
Step 7
If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked
Allow (or Enable) plug-ins
Then click the button marked
Manage Website Settings...
if present and make sure that the website is not blocked for Flash.
Step 8
Select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them. -
HELP! Error message when downloading Adobe Photoshop free trial...
Whenever I try to download Adobe Photoshop CS4 free trial, I get an error message which is: "You can't open this application because it is not supported on this architecture". This happens after the setup bit, when I try to actually open the application. I'm running OSX 10.5.8. I'm a new mac user so all of this is a bit confusing! I did have Adobe Photoshop CS (not CS4) but removed that because I thought it might be clashing. Still no luck. I updated my mac, too. Is there something else I should be doing or should know about?

O.F.Are you sure you got rid of all of Adobe's stuff? Check in /Library/Application Support/ and /Users/username/Library/Application Support/ for Adobe folders and stuff. Delete those and restart.

Unable to download Adobe Photoshop Elements 13, please help?
Hi,
I am unable to download Photoshop 13. I have bought it and have an activation code but the download just isn't happening.
It starts to run, so I click 'Open/Run' when it appears on the bottom downloads bar, then nothing happens.
Even when I go in the downloads folder on my pc and select the download itself in there, nothing happens.
I have plenty of memory on my laptop as most of my stuff is on my external hardrive.
Norton antivirus keeps telling me it is safe so it isn't being blocked by an antivirus program.
I am really confused, please help.
