Help downloading Itunes
Every time I try to download Itunes I recieve the following message:
"the publisher could not be verified. this file does not have a valid digital signature that verifies its publisher"
"C:\Users\ADMIN\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\H7946GKK\iTunesSetup[1].exe is not a valid Win32 application"
Does anyone know what I need to do so that it will work, or is there anyway I can downloand the Itunes from a CD??? Thank you for any help!
sorry mate but that doesnt exactly work because ive had this same problem just last month and im still having problems with itunes and when i tried that it just made it worse cause quicktime also started to go wrong with it and a whole lot of other things that dont go with it started to go wrong.
but if you get rid of quicktime and itunes then go to apple.com and go to download quicktime and get the one with quicktime and itunes then download wherever you save them and install them...that should get rid of most of your problems...it did to me. (even though you will still not get in it). (but you still have to delete all of itunes/quicktimesetups.exe's)

HELP DOWNLOAD ITUNES ON XP HOME [nothing works]

You didn't say exactly what you found in your system32 folder, but I assume you meant some quicktime components that were not Quicktime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx, and that you deleted them.
What happens is that other software can install Quicktime components that prevent Quicktime itself from working. However iTunes no longer requires Quicktime so I do not know if this relates to your problem.
Did the error message or anything else change after you deleted the files?
It is possible that there may be a problem with some other part of iTunes and I think it would be worth doing a complete removal of all the iTunes/Quicktime related software and then attempting a reinstall.

Restart your PC and try installing iTunes again.
If you have trouble uninstalling any of the components, get back with details. -

Yessir, it is.
You can try updating one of two ways:
Mac: Open iTunes. iTunes> Check for Updates
Win: Open iTunes. Help> Check for Updates
If it's saying 7.6.2 is the latest version, download 7.7 from http://apple.com/itunes/download and install it over the current version.

Hi... I can't download iTunes to my 2 year old H-P Pavilion (WIN 7). It just goes to the thank you page.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -

I am trying to download iTunes on my new desktop computer (Windows 7, 64 bit). It starts installing, and then stops with the message- "The System Administrator has set policies to prevent this installation." This is a stand alone computer and I am the sole user. Please help.
This is a Microsoft Windows Issue.
From a MS Support Engineer:

· Is the issue isolated to only this software or you get the same error message with other software’s as well?
Try the steps below and check if it helps.

Run the software setup file as an administrator and check if it helps.
a. Right click on the setup file of the software that you are trying to install.
b. Select “Run as administrator”.

Temporarily disable the antivirus software running on the computer and check if you are able to install the software.

Hello everyone,my names Charlotte and I was wondering if someone could help me with my iPod not syncing to my iTunes properly.
Okay well basically,a while ago my laptop caught a virus and in the end I ended up having to reboot the whole thing.
(My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate)
However,because of this,it meant I had to download iTunes again, and so I did.
(I have the latest iTunes and iPod Touch version downloaded)
Then I found a way how to sync all my music from my iPod touch (not the 4th gen) to my laptop, so I did and put all my music and more (from albums I haven't downloaded yet e.t.c) onto my newly downloaded iTunes.
But anyway,back to the original topic. Because of downloading iTunes again and rebooting my laptop, my iPod Touch wont sync to my new iTunes and I don't know what I can do to fix this?
Another thing I did notice was on the 'Devices' option on the sidebar, it now says 'iPod Touch', instead of 'Charlotte's iPod'.
I'm really stuck on what to do because when my iPod does sync to my iTunes it says 'Syncing iPod Touch (Step 1 of 1)', when usually it should be of 4 steps, like backing up data and transferring purchases e.t.c.
Then it just finishes sync..
One thing I did do was de-authorize it and re-authorize it again as I found online that it worked for some people,.... for me it didn't. To be honest I didn't expect it to work as I thought it was just for anyone trying to hack/take away your music...but it was worth a shot anyway.
But please help!

I don't know what else to try to download iTunes! Please help!
I'm going crazy... I have been reading forums and troubleshooting pages for about 15 hrs and I do not know what else to try. I have 32-bit Win Vista and it will not let me download iTunes. I have run my anti-virus, my spyware remover, cleaned my registry, emptied my temporary internet files folder, restored my hard drive, and I tried turning off my anti-virus and spyware remover and then downloading... nothing works. First I was getting the pop-up box that said it does not recognize the publisher... when I tell it to continue anyway I get the "this is not a valid Win32 application" error. The past few times that I have tried to download it, I get an error that says the connection with the server was lost. I really don't think there is a problem with my connection. I hope that all made sense... I have been staring at this screen for so long that I can't think anymore. If anybody has any other suggestions to try, Please let me know!

I have a new powerbook and want to give my girlfriend my old G4 power book, she has a new iphone 5s, and wants to create a new itunes/apple id. When i try to de authorize the G4 and sign in with her new apple ID it says bad password, how can i release the G4 from my cluster of authorized apples and make her the owner so she can download music and more importantly sync her music with her phone, she only has 3 songs on her iphone, and loaded all her CD's into the g4 but cant sync, im no dummy and this shouldnt be hard, but its driving me crazy!!!!!!

I just downloaded Itunes 11.1.4 (64-bit) update and am running Windows 7. Itunes will not run after installing this update and I receive an error message R6034 on Loading Microsoft C Runtime Library incorrectly. Also Error message 1114 the Itunes Installer was installed incorrectly. Is there an new update for this problem? Is anyone else having this problem? Please help. Thanks.
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I can not burn a CD with my itunes anymore. It tells me to re download itunes. I have done that and still have the same problem. When I do try, Missing disc recorder keeps coming up. Please help!!!!

Also when I open itunes it gives me a warning and says "The registry settings used by the itunes drivers for importingand burning cd's and dvds are missing. Please reinstall itunes."
With that one let's first try a reboot and repair.
Reboot the PC (very important), and the do a *repair install* of iTunes.
Go to your "Add or Remove Programs" control panel, select iTunes, click "Change" and then click "Repair".
Does iTunes launch without the error message now?
If no luck there, try checking for a device filter conflict in your registry:

I was trying to download iTunes on my computer, and while doing so, I got this message: Error writing to file: C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Apple/Apple Application Support/Apple Versions.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory. I have downloaded iTunes numerous times and I have never had this problem. If anyone knows what's going on, I would really appreciate the help.
Well, there's definitely a mac and a Windows version. And you're at the right page. I think the problem is that someone forgot (or decided not to) to update the text at teh bottom of the page to have Mac and Windows.
Just push the button, you'll get the Mac update no problem.
