Help downloading real tunes etc 0n 6230i t-mobile ...
Hello everyone,
I have just got a nokia 6230i on t-mobile. I can download all the real tones pictures etc from there t-zones page, But cannot get any from independent sites. I send a text message to the site as requested but get no link in a text message back. Yet I can send ordinary text messages to other people and get replys.
I just don't understand it can anyone help.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

When i try and download i-tunes i get a message about URBCHN1 not being a win32 command, or something similar. I have tried all thr suggestion on the web, deleted i tunes and quicktime, deleted temp folders and even changed the settings in myconfig, but what ever i do i still get the same message!

I am unable to download i tunes onto my laptop. It almost completes the process, gets to copying files, registering products etc then says there was an error and starts to roll back. My pop up blocker level is okay because I can run the programme. Does anyone have any ideas please?

I downloaded -i-tunes 8.1 because both of my computers are G-3; the Mac Pro lap top has intel, my i-mac does not. When I try to access i-tunes store on the mac pro I get the page for CLOUD. I can access the account, but am unable to access i-tunes store. My music is available. How do I access the store?

iTunes does not provide backup facilities.
If you use backup software, it can be incorporated in the normal backup
Or you can copy the iTunes folder onto an external disk or see this user tip using synctoy:

Adding Songs I bought from Real Tunes
I've just gotten into the World of Pods, MP3, Computer Tunes, etc. I've been trying out various applications. So far I like iTunes, but I have tracks and albums I bought when I was using Real Player (.rax files). Can't I now play those songs using iTunes???
I've tried opening them using File>Add File to Library.
I select the individual files (.rax). iTunes doesn't complain. It just doesn't DO anything I can see (like add it to my library). I sincerely hope I haven't lost all those songs.

I know what the problems have been with "stealing" music. I have a good friend who used to manage Styx. And Procul Harum, etc. Illegal downloading has literally put Robin Trower out of business. (It's a long story, I'm not going into it here.)
But THIS STUFF (restrictions, no adaptability, weird rights, etc., etc.) is worse. I AM NOT HAPPY!! -

The three music came with your operating system.
Sync is only oneway, from PC to your device. Unless you have the music on your PC, iTunes is going to wipe out what you have on your device if you are syncing to a new library.
You can only transfer Purchased music over to Itunes on your PC.

I'm having a billing issue with my apple id. I got my first iPhone today and I've signe din etc however before i can download any apps etc i need to resolve an old payment apparently. The problem is i cant enter my new card details because the issue is registered to when i was in America and i require to pay the funds from an American source. Any ideas how i can resolve this? It wont accept my new card detail as im back in the UK. I think i have posted this in the wrong area but anyone got any ideas?

I am using a new laptop, windows 7, with ipod touch, hoping to listen to, whilst on line, edit and add music to my ipod library. I have downloaded i.tunes but it does not show my library. I know I have repeats to delete too but cant see anything, It does recognise that there is a body of music with the indication bar at the bottom., but does not list anything. Help
I attempted to back up my old iPod, but in File - Library - back up to disk, it's asking for 15 disks! I can't just back up to the PC/ext HDD that I can see.
That backing up your iTunes library, not your iPod. You can backup up your library by:

First you have to get Itunes to see the iPod. See the following. Notupdating your iPod iOS has nothing to do with it.

How do I download i-tunes directly to my 1Tb external hard drive?
Our external hard drive unit just died, taking my and my wife's i-tunes libraries with it.
When we bought the Mac desktop and the external HD unit from the Apple store, the staff transferred our i-tunes libraries from our
old pc to the external HD unit as we wished to keep the Mac HD clear of all the I-tunes data (I have over 1500 CDs and was slowly
adding these to my library, so it was quite a loss but mostly of time as I still have the CDs to copy again to my new library.) The staff
created separate libraries for my wife and I overnight so it was all done when we collected the machines from the shop, and I'd like to
re-create the separate libraries on the new i-tunes which we'll download from the Apple site. As there are no saved music tracks to be

Cheers for any help.If the external hard drive is the source, then "download" is a confusing term. To "download", refers to the action of transfering by internet protocol from the internet to a device.
To "copy" those files, it is simply a matter of plugging in the external hard drive via the USB cable provided with that drive to a corresponding port on your Air. The drive should automatically mount, and either be visible by an icon on your desktop, or in a Finder window.
You simply click on the icon, or do similarly within a finder widow to examine the contents of the drive. You would open an additional Finder window and naviagte to your desired flder destination.
Then, simply "drag and drop" the files you wish to copy from the source (the external hard drive), to the destination fold on your Air.
