Help! Eclipse can't debug.

hi, everybody.
I can run my application program in the Eclipse 3.2, but when I debug the application, a popup window tell me "Cannot connect to VM". The massages on the console is as below:
FATAL ERROR in native method: JDWP No transports initialized, jvmtiError=JVMTI_ERROR_INTERNAL(113)
ERROR: JDWP Transport dt_socket failed to initialize, TRANSPORT_LOAD(509) ["debugInit.c",L476]
JDWP exit error JVMTI_ERROR_INTERNAL(113): No transports initialized
btw: jdk used is j2sdk1.5.0, I have set the environment variable of JAVA_HOME and PATH .
if you know how to solve this problem, pls tell me. thanks a lot.

I'm having the same problem, on a linux box (2.6.20-1.2925.fc6 #1 SMP). Your suggestion about the filrewall didn't work. I turned both the firewall and the SELinux services off and I still receive the same message when I try to debug a plug-in. By the way, the messages are:

Any help is really appreciated.

Require help to configure my project in Eclipse with Lmbaz onto Weblogic 8.1.
Following is a brief scenario of my problem:
I have an existing web-based project that i need to import into Eclipse.
I have Eclipse 3.0 and Lombaz 3.0.1. I use this with Weblogic 8.1, JDK 1.4.2 and Ant.
My project requires some environment xml files to be loaded and i have them set in the classpath.
I am unable to import the project and start it in the remote debugging perspective.
Can you please help me import my project into Eclipse and to use Eclipse with Lombaz for debugging on Weblogic?

good that you posted the SoniqMQ params.
You have configured WLS to look for the Local JNDI names in the MQ params.
You need to use
"SonicMQSampleQ1" for destination-jndi-name
AND
"SonicMQQueueConnectionFactory" for connection-factory-jndi-name

That's correct - you can't add it to another controller.
From the View Controller Catalog for iOS:
A split view controller must always be the root of any interface you create. In other words, you must always install the view from aUISplitViewController object as the root view of your application’s window. The panes of your split view interface may then contain navigation controllers, tab bar controllers, or any other type of view controller you need to implement your interface. Can't Debug in Eclipse - PS starts but Extension doesn't load

Windows 7 Pro
I can create my extension in Eclipse and Export it. Then use Extension Manager to install it and PS sees it......but if I right click on the Project in Eclipse and use 'Debug As', PS starts but the extension doesn't appear in it's list.
I've been through the changes at;
Adobe Extension Builder and Creative Cloud 2014
and carried out the PlayerDebugMode registry entry but my debugging still doesn't work.
If anybody has any ideas I'd be very grateful. My HTML5 and JS headache just doesn't need another problem.

Thanks for the reply. I was following along with the video "Building and debugging HTML5 Extensions for Adobe Creative Cloud products" - doing things exactly as in the video (except I choose PS instead of PP. When I right click on my Project name in the Script Explorer in Eclipse and then select 'Debug As' and select PS - PS runs but my extension does not appear in the Windows - > Extensions list.
As I said I have added the PlayerDebugMode registry entry but my extension still doesn't appear in the PS list of Extensions.

Can't debug in FB3

Hi,
I installed FB3 3.0.1 plugin into Eclipse (Europe).
I can run the application in FB3, but can't debug - get Error
404 "Requested resource is not available".
I added argument "-debug=true" to Flex compiler, but still
have a problem.
Running in IE6 in WinXP.
FB3 was supposed to install Debug version of Flash ActiveX
plugin, it shows 9,0,115,0
(I assume it's Debug version).
Please help.

If I have 3 apps. open, and try to open a 4th. this message comes up :
The application "Mail" cannot be launched. -10810
Of cause if I'm trying to open up something else than mail, lets say iPhoto, it will say "iPhoto".
This is very weird to me, and I'm normally pretty good at solving issues myself, but I'm stuck with this one.

I've had this quite a lot too. Do you find that under these conditions you can't load a disk image either?
At first I put this down to Rosetta taking up a lot of resources. I was running OmniWeb with a lot of pages open in the workspaces so I've switched back to Safari until OmniWeb is UB. This morning I read that having Windows file sharing switched on helps to cause this problem. I switched this off, rebooted and ran disk utility to repair disk permissions and I've been running OK since then. I've currently got 13 apps open plus Finder and Widgets. They include 2 bigguns, Eclipse/MyEclipse and Visual Paradigm for UML. It'll probably stop working now I've written that.
I run a MBP 17 with 2GB memory. My guess is that Windows file sharing does cause problems. I just hope Apple has resolved this in 10.4.7... whenever that is.

How can I debug a web application running on Weblogic 10.3

I have inherited a NetUI Web Application developed using Weblogic Workshop and I can't manage to debug it. I have configure my server in Workshop and to debug it I right-click the project in Project Exporer and select Debug As -> Debug On Server, but this isn't working. The browser does open the application doesn't appear to be getting delpoyed.
Can anyone help me out? I am using Weblogic 10.3 and Java 1.6.

The application is an enterprise application packaged as an EAR. if I right click on the project and click Debug As -> Debug on Server, the application appears in the Server Tab, but it does not start automatically. If I then manually start the server the application runs, but it does not stop at break points and I can not debug it.
If I right-click on the web project that is packaged as part of the ear and select Debug As -> Debug On Server again the application is deployed, but I can't debug it. I don't get error messages, the application functions as normal but it does not stop at break points. When I attempt to debug the application via the Web Project, two browsers open automatically, both correctly displaying the application.

How can i find out where the data has stuck.

Please go to the routine code..
In the menu options..u will find an option for breakpoint--set..
The line where breakpoint is set will get highlighted and u will also see a STOP symbol..
then come out of routine..and then run the data load..
this ABAP routine for overlapping request deletion runs before the scheduled data load..
the run shud stop at the set breakpoint and show the routine code..in debugger mode..

How can I debug a sequence that has a subsequence is running in a separate thread?
I have to have a continues check for a digital in signal to be able to terminate the sequence if a physical button is pushed.
This is running in a separate thread, but this way I cannot debug the main sequence.
Is there any workaround for this?

1> SWE4/SWELS -> EVENT TRACE ON/OFF (Switch On the Event Trace)
2> SWEL -> DISPLAY EVENT TRACE
3> SWUD -> WF DIAGNOSTICS
4> SWPR -> WORKFLOW RESTART AFTER ERROR
Enter the WF Number and Click on the LOG Icon.
There you can see the Graphical Log of the WF to know where the WF is stuck.
And You can also check the Technical Details of the WF there, to find which WF Container has what value.

Can we debug WAD queries as we do BEx queries in RSRT

Gurus,
I am working with a WAD report and want to test what value is being passed from the frontend to the query. Can I debug this in RSRT as we do a BEx query. If yes, how, if not, how can I debug my WAD queries and see what is the value being passed to a user exit from the WAD?

Hi Venkat,
you can set some parameters in url for web applications like
- debug=X (includes all JavaScript files directly in HTML result and displays additional information)
- trace=X (records an OLAP trace)
- snippet_operations= (disables snippet operations)
- javascript= (disables usage of JavaScript)
- no_session_cookie=X (forces session encoding with URL rewriting)
You should try debug=X and trace=X...
