HELP!! Email, facebook, BBM, etc won't work EVEN ON WIFI! I HAVE a perfect 3G connection​!

Hello, My internet wont work. On BBM I get a red cross, facebook nor blackberry appworld wont connect, I don't get emails nothing. I have a perfect 3G connection, with the symbol next to it. I can't browse either. When I turn on wifi, its still the same!! The only thing is that I can browse when wifi is connected. Nothing else. I called my service provider, they refreshed everything. Nothing happened. I also activated everything again (host routing table) you know the usual stuff. Nothing works. What could be the problem? It was working fine! Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
Unfortunately, I cannot tell from your posts (e.g., "the usual stuff") if you have done these exact steps. Therefore, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
2) Delete and Resend Service Books
KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
If you have no CMIME entry, then skip the deletion
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you will need to continue to escalate wit your mobile service provider for formal support. You see, you PAY them for 100% of your service and 100% of your formal support...right now, it would seem that they are delivering neither to you, and you should not let them fob you off...you should insist that they comply with the terms of your contract, which means that they should stay with you until the issue is resolved, and formally escalate into RIM if they cannot solve it. For, you see, only via escalation from a carrier can your case receive any formal support from RIM.

    I have a torch and bbm, whatsapp, twitter etc won't work at all, its never done this before!     I have the same mini display port adapter and Belkin DVI-HDMI cable (but a Panasonic 42" Plasma HDTV) so just set this up on it to see if I could duplicate your problem, unfortunately for you (but good for me) I can't.
    I connected the adapter+HDMI cable before switching the HDTV on and then powered up the MBP. It (the HDTV) came up with my background right away (it's set at Mirror not extended Desktop) and when I run System Preferences/Displays get the following. Sorry but all I can confirm is that adapter+cable combination should work ...
    Try doing a Parameter RAM reset - hold down command/option/p/r keys at start up and wait for three chimes before releasing the keys?

    Try deleting the account from the iPod and try reentring all the information again.  A lot of times it is easier to reenter the information rather than trying to find and correct the error.
    Try Googling for how to setup the email account for your provider on an iPhone.  You can try for an iPod Touch but frequently that does not exist.

    I am having the same problem. I am not able to load ESPN or any of its affiliated apps. I also tried craigslist and ebay using safari and no luck. I tried contacting ESPN and they told me to contact AT&T. So I have been chatting with an AT&T rep for about an  hour and haven't had any luck. Some friends who also have AT&T are having the same problems, while those with Verizon are working fine. I'm from the St. Louis are if that's any help.

    This is not a reply. I just want to elaborate on this problem.
    My computer freezes occasionally when it is used after being sleep for a while. The spinning ball appears and everything is totally disabled. Nothing on the keyboard works.
    The mouse moves, but does not work.
    The only solution is to turn the power off and on (losing all data in open applications.)
    I kept the System monitor running on the side to find out which program was running when the computer froze. The Monitor as well as all other applications froze, but the data showed:
    Firefox 18.4%
    Activity Monitor 0.9%
    Firefox Plugin 0.2%
    This is all the information I have. By the way, I am using iMac with OS 10.6.

    Since I upgraded my BBM, when I try to send a BBM message, I get the unfriendly red x. I have gone through most of the post on this wall yet nothing. My edge is Capitalised (EDGE) all other applications work just fine, whatsapp, email, Appworld but BBM. I have even deleted and reinstalled it still nothing. Plllllllllllllllllllllllllleaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease some one help me out, can't take it anymore  (I have a torch 9800  v6.0)

    Was your computer still able to get online when connected to your router or your modem? If not then you need to reset and then reconfigure the router’s settings. Use the link that I will provide you below on how to reconfigure the router’s settings after the reset.

    If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined
    If it is a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support and see if they know why it's being declined :http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    No can do, David.  I have a board that supports quad SLI.  Windows 8.1 x64 recognizes two cards just fine.  But when a third, is added, or two more at once, I mean, there is -nothing-, absolutely nothing in the device manager to suggest that
    any device is added, period.  Not that it matters, but the cards are two RADEON 290x s, a radeon 7590, and a radeon 5850.  These all work fine on other systems, and actually, other windows 8.1 installs.  All updates added, all chipset drivers
    added, and all these cards work off of the newest catalyst drivers, 13.12, which supersedes any beta 13.11 version.  Does not matter out of the myriad of ways the cards are entered, which order, how many, etc.  Over two?  "it" will choose the
    one or two it seems, and absolutey nothing will come up in device manager, even under "view by connections."  It's as if the x16 slots housing the added cards, or cards 4 or more if tried at once, are seen as vacant.
    If I could get windows to recognize a -device- is added in a proper x16 slot, properly configured, that, I might be able to work with.   I must have completely uninstalled catalyst versions and installed
    them over 100 times in testing.  It doesn't matter.  Catalyst cannot shift over drivers to a card or cards that windows itlelf doesn't "see."  I've tried a huge number of different things, but short of not scaling up with windows 8.1, nothing
    seems to be working.  Windows 7 x64 seems to not be the genesis of "missing card" trouble in that op system.  That, is wonky catalyst.  But windows 8.1 has yet even given catalyst a chance to mess things up, and sometimes "forget" cards on reboot.

  • TS1398 Apps won't work due to wifi

    Even though my iPad will connect to my house's wifi, and the signal is decent (2-3 bars), none of the apps that work with internet function. For instance, I tried deleting Youtube, and attempted to download it again, but it wouldn't start the download.  I also have an iPod and other laptops which perfectly work with the wifi. This has been going on for two days. I tried turning the wifi on and off, tapping the forget network option, resetting the network connections, and turning my router off and on.

    I suspect you are not connected to wifi.
    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

    Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
    Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
    You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.
