Help! email suddenly stalling on last message
It only happened this morning. I have tried everything including restart and preferences. It stalls on the last message. Activity viewer is "fetching 39 of 39..." and "Removing message attachments." It has been for about 20 minutes now. On my several retries, it has always stalled on the last one (not always the same number of messages NOR stalling on the same one, just the last one) AND none of the messages that it does get are appearing in the mailboxes. I have force quit mail twice and restarted the machine. Always the same.
Even though I get about 200 spams a day, I have never had this trouble and I haven't changed anything in system prefs.
Help please, I am dead without email!

OK. I don’t know whether updating the system would help, so let’s try to figure out what the problem is without installing anything.
Sometimes, messages left on the server clog up the account there. What are your Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > Remove copy from server settings?
Try this to determine the scope of the problem:
1. Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Accounts, and create a new user account for testing purposes.
2. Either log out of your main user account or just quit Mail so that it does not interfere with the other user account.
3. Log in as the newly created user and set up Mail anew there.
4. Check whether the problem also happens when logged in as another user.

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if the email text shows when you re-open the Mail app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
I am having problems with my outlook 2011. While i am able to check and SEND email on all my other devices ( Ipad, iphone, Macbook), I am unablesend any email with my iMac ( i can recieve email) . This problem started suddenly and the error message i get is error 5.7.8. I have read the threads on line and went into settings, even created a new profile, nothing helps...Please advice..is this something to do with my keychain Access?

I just upgraded my iPhone 3GS to 4.3.5 and my universal doc stopped working with it? It has worked flawlessly for the last year and suddenly I get the message: "this iphone is not optimized for this device." I dismiss the message, but the remote no longer works with it and the music is too quite to the speakers. The remote works fine with my Macbook Pro. I tried a restore on the iPhone and started from scrach, but the same problem exists.
Any help with this?

While composing email, keep getting "Unable to save as a draft" every 30 seconds. I've disable auto save and it didn't help.How can I stop this message?

Thank you for taking the time to look at my app. This is my last major stumbling block that I have to resolve for this and other forms in the app.
Actually, I did use the Form Wizard for Auto DML to originally create the form. It was great. It created most of the Buttons, Items and Validations automatically (basically most of the page). I just needed to create some Processes and Computations. Two of which were the Processes to update the 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields and 'update_dt' and 'updated_by' fields. The Create process updates the fields just fine.
However, my problem seems to be that the Hidden 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields aren't picking up the values from a record that is being editted. Then when I attempt to save the record those fields are NULL, causing the DB NOT NULL constraint to throw an exception for those fields. In the back of my mind I seem to remember seeing some post stating something to the effect that the information in fields with a Source Type of Database Column is just displayed and does not affect Session State items.
Even with that, I am still wondering just why the 'created_by' Page Item shows the value that is in the DB record being updated, but the 'create_dt" does not (as can be seen in my first posting). It is the 'create_dt' Page Item (:P205_CREATE_DT) not having the DB records 'create_dt' info in it that appears to be the problem.

I purchased an unlocked iPhone4 last month. Everything was fine till yesterday. Today morning when I tried to check mail, i suddenly got an error message saying " Could not activate cellular data network: you are not subscribed to a cellular data service", when I checked on my network settings i was not able to find the cellular data network tab ( where we use to input APN manually). i even tried to restore my iPhone to its factory settings, Still it remains the same. i cant able to connect to Internet using cellular data. help me...Plz..
Where did you purchase it from? There are lots of iPhones sold as "unlocked" which are carrier locked phones that were hacked and are not officially unlocked. These phones are subject to re-locking to the original carrier, particularly when updated.

I have got a new iphone recently. But I can't restore in app purchases. I have tried many times to reset it threw email and never got the message. I know I'm checking the right email I get your advertising messages there. I'm 85% sure I'm using the right answers! This has been very frustrating! Please help make this right!

The reset link for the security question will send the email to your rescue email account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 - that is the email account that you are checking, and you've checked the spam folder on it as well as the inbox, and tried clicking the reset link again ?
If you aren't receivineg the email then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to view your rescue email address to check that it's correct, in case you need to use it in the potential future use -
Well, i was on my laptop now and all of a sudden a pop up message appeared and said "your download is complete" so i went to go check it out and it was 'MacProtector'. i cant delete it and it keeps opening unwanted web pages, please help me sort this out someone?

My comcast emails suddenly stopped being sent to my iphone 4. when I deleted and reentered my email address, emails came up but where from mid-December. Went to Verizon, they sent me to comcast. Went to Comcast, they sent me to Apple. Help?!
Check the outgoing mail server settings in your account on the Treo and see if it is set for your yahoo account.
Make sure it is not set for the Hotmail account.
