Help! Email won't work!

I have an LG Lucid II. A couple weeks ago I tried sending an email, but got a message saying "Authentication Failed". When I clicked on the message it gave me the option of either clicking "OK" (going back to previous screen) or "Settings". When I click on settings, it said that my password was not correct. I thought this was weird because I still got in coming emails just fine. Anyway, I shut my phone off a turned it back on, and then it worked just fine.
Now today I tried sending an email and got the same thing; so again I restarted my phone. This time it didn't work. I still got the "Authentication Failed" message. So I tried deleting the account, thinking if I re-add the account it will fix it. Well now it's not working at all. I'm still in the setup up phase, and it won't let me set up the account saying that the password is incorrect (It's not. I can log in to my email just fine on a computer).
Any ideas? BTW I have Hotmail for my email.

The Gmail account doesn't work through the Gmail app?
How do you have the godaddy accounts setup? Try removing them and then verify the server settings with GoDaddy.

I'm sorry, as I keep saying... in MAIL I get the message that it cannot cannot to server!? Did you read the initial problem at all! I know exactly where mail is, although, the diagram was wonderful.
My problem is TWO FOLD.
The MAIL app doesn't work with iCloud but does work with my POP3 email for my office.
Second problem is the iCloud on Safari doesn't work as I get the error message as the screenshot above.
There is NO reason why the @me.com email shouldn't work through the iCloud site, as you can see, there is a also a Mail icon.

Try:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings

- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

Flash help, still won't work

I am trying to put a flash video on my website. I tried to
follow all the directions from start to finish, but somewhere along
the way I went wrong. I have a video I made in Final Cut Pro,
exported in QT format. I used the Adobe Flash Encoder to convert
the .mov to a .flv file. Then I imported the .flv file into Flash
CS3 Pro and put a skin to it and saved the .fla and exported as
.swf. Then I went into Dreamweaver CS3 and used the "insert media"
function to insert the .swf file. I got it positioned correctly and
go to view it in the broswer - looks great, autoplay works, skin
appears, etc. So then I upload / "put" to the server and click
"yes" to include dependent elements. But then when I navigate to
the site from the brower, the video doesn't work. In fact, it
doesnt show up at all. All you see is a blank spot where the video
should be. Its probably obvious by now that Im not too terribly
knowledgeable about DW or web design or HTML, but I feel like I got
pretty close and Im frustrated that it won't work. Since it works
perfectly in the "preview in browser" function in DW, I feel that I
am getting close. But my guess is that the error is somewhere in
the upload to server process since it works locally but not
remotely. Any help would be much appreciated as Im getting
frustrated. Below is the URL. The problem could be anywhere in the
process. I tried creating the .fla file with both a local reference
to the .flv file (and then uploading all to server) as well as
creating with a reference to the .flv file after already uploading
to server. Still no cigar. I can look at the remote view and see
that the .html file, the .swf file, the .fla file, the .flv file,
and the script file are all uploaded. Maybe the referencing is
incorrect...just not sure. Thanks !

My iCloud email won't work

My email address attached to my Apple id in iCloud won't work

Way to go Apple. Switch everyone over from MobileMe to iCloud and pffft email no longer works. I'm getting the same thing that the password is incorrect. The real problem seems to be that their mail servers can't handle the load. When I try to log into iCloud in Safari, Mail does not load and there is an option to report the problem to Apple. Please help - iMessage won't work

So I updated my phone today like I'm sure a lot of you did and I tried going in to activate my iMessage, I've tried it for hours and even reset my phone and it won't work. I know my id and password are right and my connection to my wifi is good but every time I do it it pops up after about 30 seconds of trying and says "could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again"
Someone please help ... What do I do? My date & time thing is already set to on as I previously read.

If you are having trouble with SMS messages, then you would need to address that with your carrier, unless you are receiving them and just not get a notification. If you have followed the steps I gave you for iMessage and you are not receiving notifications, then check the settings for Notification Center. If you have Messages set to show on the lock screen and play a sound, and display a banner, etc. then your next step is a restore. First restore from a backup, and if that doesn't work, then restore as a new device. Restoring the phone will result in the loss of all data. Make sure you have backed up the phone, synced all content and imported photos to the computer.

Submit by Email won't work with Adobe Reader 6

I have created a form that must be submitted back to our corporate offices, the problem is the people it is being sent to may be running Adobe Reader 6. When I try to use the submit by email button in version 6 nothing happens. The form works fine in the newer Adobe. Any help saving this to work for the older version would be great. Thanks!

You have enable Reader Rights with Acrobat 8 Professional (prior versions will not work), pay a 3rd party or buy Adobe's server product.

The hyperlinks in my email won't work

Hi my mail was working fine, but recently my Hyperlinks stopped working. If I get an email with a link to a website, I can't click on it to make it go to Safari, I only have the option of clicking a little arrow and seeing a preview of it. Why is this happening!?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Help Ipod won't work with my computer anymore!

I have a 5th gen Ipod and it has been working fine for the first month I've had it but recently I can't seem to get it to work with Itunes or even be detected on my computer. I've already tried all the things it says to do on the support page and none of it seems to be working. I've reinstalled everything and tried the Ipod updater but it won't work. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what should I do? Is there any way I can just get a new Ipod since I've only had this one for a month?

I changed my password 2 days ago on my email acct while on my laptop, and when I tried to access my email on Iphone 5, it wouldn't accept password. I even tried deleting and readding account, still not letting me. Please help!! Do I go to a Verizon store or an Apple store for help, very unsure. Just got this phone in June, this is my 1st problem yet.

It may help to force close all open apps and reset your iPhone.

If you're still unable to retrieve your recent email, the next step would be to reinstall iOS on your device by placing it in Recovery Mode, then choosing Update in iTunes.
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

Just upgraded to iOS 6. Now my yahoo email won't work. Help!?

This morning my iPad cheerfully told me the new iOS upgrade was available. So I said yes. Now I can't get email. What the heck?! ANY IDEAS HOW TO FIX?!!

Have you tried resetting the network settings? Sometimes starting from scratch solves the issue and it is the simplest way I can think of that may solve your problem.
1. Go to Settings > General > Reset
2. Then select Reset Network Settings
3. Enter your password when it requests it
After the phone finishes the reset try adding your Wi-Fi again and see if that works. If not, I would back-up your phone to your computer, then reset the whole phone by following the same instructions above, but choosing Reset All Content and Settings at step two. Make sure you backup your phone first though! Otherwise you will lose all the stuff on your phone when you make this selection.

BT Desktop Help still won't work with Windows 7 64...

THis has been going on for a while now. It just won't launch. Emails and screen sharing sessions have produced nothing. One phone call to a representative resuilted in them telling me that the 64 bit Windows 7 version was not available yet - but wait a week or so. I've tried the latests versions and still doesn't work althougth it works fine on Vista. Anyone else still having problems?
Waiting for a call now from level 2 support but i'm not hopeful.

Its only a diagnostic tool and has nothing to do with getting the best speed.
It can diagnose simple problems and fix them if possible, reducing the number of calls to the helpdesk

Email won't work

I've been on the phone to Apple about this but never enough time. My mail will send but not receive and all the internet setting are correct. I was told to use the reinstall CD as I must have bad mail program (?) However when I searched for my disks I cannot locat them. I purchased this imac plus a macbook Oct 16th 07 and am having a heck of a time with tech support. I can find the disks for the macbook but that won't install. Can I get a replacement for the iMac? I've looked everywhere and don't know what to do. I also had to send for the update to get lepoard installed and I do have that disk.
any ideas?

That disk will never work.

Yes, if you call Apple I believe Software support will help you with that for a shipping and handling charge.
I also had to send for the update to get lepoard installed and I do have that disk.
That disk, if it's an upgrade, will only work on the exact same model you ordered it for. For sure you didn't get a brand new iMac this October, you say, so no chance it is the upgrade for that. If it is a full Retail disk you could install it. But there are a lot of issues with Leopard right now. I am going to wait.

Mail2world email won't work- what you say I can do I can't no icons no FF tab

Just upgraded to FF4 and I have mail2world email. Since upgrading to FF I can't reply, forward or delete any of my email. I found a work around for deleting but not for reply or forward. Frustrating.
Also In the help getting started video it states that you can hit the firefox tab to put on private browsing. Where is the tab? I don't have it. I see the blue banner at the very top of the page, Next line is the File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools and Help. The next is the tabs for the sites. Next is the Awesome bar line. I just don't see the Firefox tab. HELP!!

Outgoing emails won't work.

Hi.
I've got a new blackberry curve 9300 on at&t and I set it up to sync with my gmail account. It was working fine, and then one day stopped being able to send any emails. I receive them just fine, but can't send any.
I've read the other posts and tried the following:
1. reboot by taking out the battery
2. resending HRT and rebooting
3. Tried to delete and resend service books BUT:
it doesn't work directly from the device, and when I went on the website, it said that it doesn't allow me to create a BIS account from an html browser, and that I need to do it from my phone. I tried from the phone's browser, same message. I have no idea how to create a BIS account to make it send the service books.
I also tried sending service books from the device itself, (I finally found instructions that worked with the 6.0 software) and it did absolutely nothing
What I have noticed, though, is that I can only read message in the "Messages" app, while I can only send, and not see or read, messages in the email app named after my account.
What is going on here?

Can you use the following link to re-check your mail settings, use your email address and password to log in. /emailservercheck
While you are on the internet can you see if you are able to log into your email account on-line? Click on the following link (LINK) and use your email address and password to log in. Check that you can access the web mail interface and sent mail OK.
If webmail is working then try sending again with your Outlook program.
If you are still having trouble let us know what version of Outlook you are using and your PC operating system.
