Help! Error in New Report.vi

Why do I get an Error -2147312566 when I run New Report.vi? I have the Microsoft Report Generation Toolkit 1.0.1 installed and am running LabVIEW 6.1. I don' tthink that New Report.vi is the only problem I'm having. None of the SubVI's seem like they are able to be called when I run any of the example VI's that come with the Toolkit!

Analyzer error creating new reports

Has anyone seen this error message? Error while executing query and retrieving data.; nested exception is com.hyperion.ap.APException:[1033] Native: -1073741819 Operating system exception thrown I started getting this today when I tried to create any new report to any database connection (old and new DB connections) Old reports still work, but I can't create anything new. Nothing has changed that I am aware of. I tried restarting the service, rebooting the server, uninstalling and reinstalling Java client. Nothing has helped. Nothing in the Hyperion knowledge base. I plan to open a trouble ticket with Support but I have a ticket already opened with them for another issue with Analyzer for about a month now.

Gary,I have seen this issue. As far as I remember it did occur whilecreating the reports. I tried getting this solved but eventuallyhad to reinstall. Are you using desktop client? Are you able tocreate reports from the webclient? Hyperion told me that it wasrelated to some patches that could have been pushed onto themachine but i never believed that.Will try to dig back and see what I got for this.

CRVS2010 - Error adding New Report

I just downloaded the Crystal Reports Beta for Visual Studio 2010. I added a Crystal Report Viewer to a form with no problems. When I try and create a new report I get the following error:
"An error occurred while adding a Strongly- Typed ReportDocument. The report may be corrupt or invalid."
It will go ahead a create a report in solution explorer, but when I try and open it I get the following error:
"The operation could not be completed. Class not registered"

Error running new report in Siebel

Hi All,
I get this error when trying to run a new report in Siebel (on local web client):
We detected an Error which may have occurred for one or more of the following reasons:
BI Publisher engine failed to generate report.(SBL-RPT-50524)
I have registered the new template, added the new IO and associated the report with a view.
I get the error after clicking 'Submit'.
I'm able to run already existing reports in Siebel.
Any idea?

Error of New report creation in BAM Active Studio

I just installed Oracle BAM. I entered in WEB-interface and selected Active Studio.
Then I pressed "Create a New report" Button. I've had the following message report:
The Data Object was deleted.

Looks like one of the system dataobjects wasn't properly loaded.
I believe you have some/most tables for the Active Data Cache (populated during install) because it appears you are able to start the Oracle BAM Active Data Cache service and get to the Start Page.
Here's the xml for the system dataobject that appears to be missing.
Note: I assume you have version 10.1.2.1, the latest version of BAM.

IF you have any missing system dataobjects, I would suggest drop the Oracle user account used to install BAM so you would delete all it's tables. Then recreate the same user account with resource and connect privileges. Then run cacheinit.exe from your OracleBAM\BAM directory. This will recreate the entire ADC for you.

Does this error occur if you use any of the example programs that come shipped with LabVIEW? I would try opening one of the examples that write data to Word and see if those give you an error. Also, have you tried just putting down a New Report.VI and change the report type to Word? If this simple vi (that's all you need to open Word) breaks, I would check to see if there are any instances of Word still open. Check the task manager to see if any word processes are still open. There should not be a problem accessing Word 2003 from LabVIEW 7.0. If neither of these solutions work, please give some more detail about your application and we can research further. Thanks!

I use the report generation toolkit on LabView 7.0 to create a report in Excel. The program works fine until I make an executable version. I the get the error:

I use the New Report.VI, Bring Excel to front.VI and Save Report To File.vi

Most likely, you did not include the required libraries in your build script. When building an executable in which you use the Report Generation Toolkit, you must include the _Word Dynamic VIs.vi from _wordsub.llb and _Excel Dynamic VIs.vi from _exclsub.llb as dynamic VIs on the Source Files tab.

Error while creating a new report data source in Sharepoint Document library

I installed SSRS(sql server 2012 SP1) in my sharepoint 2013 farm(single server installation).
I have installed SSRS addin for report also.
I created a document library and included the report data source content type, report builder report and report builder model content types. On click of any of these content types i get the below error.
"new Document requires a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible application and web browser. To add document to document library, click on the 'Upload' button."
I am using windows 7 64-bit operation system with Google chrome and IE 8 64 bit.
Any help would be appreciated.

Report template error when creating new report via SAP menu

Hi everybody,
we have the following error on our system:
When trying to create a new crystal report on a SAP query, using the entry "Create new report from a SAP query" in the SAP menu an error occurs: An error ocurred while generating a new report template
The error message appears after the SAP logon and the SAP query selection.
I think this error is related to the report templates of Crystal...
Is there any default template for SAP integrated queries?
We are using Crystal Report 2008 SP2 with SAP Integration Kit.

Error in running new report

Dear SAPIENTS,
A new report is created and getting error given below.
The (internal) unit HR has not been maintained in the unit table
    Message no. BM312
Diagnosis
    No unit is maintained with the key HR.
Procedure
    Please maintain the appropriate unit with the Measurement unit
    maintenance transaction.

Error when creating a new Reports Server instance

I have tried to create and start a new reports server instance using the following method:
1- Creating the report server instance:
rwserver server=%newrepserver% start
2- Stopping the OPMN:
*%ORACLEHOME%\opmn\bin\opmnctl stopall*
3- Adding a new server target to OPMN.XML
*%ORACLEHOME%\bin\addNewServerTarget.bat %newrepserver%*
4- Updating the configuration with new OPMN settings:
*%ORACLEHOME%\dcm\bin\dcmctl.bat updateconfig -ct opmn -v -d*
*%ORACLEHOME%\dcm\bin\dcmctl.bat resyncinstance -v -d*
5- Starting the OPMN again:
*%ORACLEHOME%\opmn\bin\opmnctl startall*
However, when I try to start the OPMN again, I receive the following error:

I have tried rebooting the server many times and have recreated other reports server instances but with no luck.

On Windows this is caused most often by the temporary directory setting.
Change the temporary directory to some fixed directory writable by anybody, e.g. "C:\temp".
Change this in:
Registry entry: hkey_local_machine\software\oracle\key_<oashome>\REPORTS_TMP
<oashome>\opmn\conf\opmn.xml: search for environment variable TEMP (under ias-instance)

An error occured while generating a new report template

I have installed the Crystal Reports 2008 V2 and also the support pack. Installed the SAP Integration Kit XI 3.1 and the latest service pack 2.7. When I try to use the SAP Tool bar from Crystal Report , I can connect/see the queries but when I select any query to create a report I am getting an error message
"An error occured while generating a new report template". Any advise ? How do I turn on the trace in the client ?

Here is solution for Client...
To turn tracing on for client applications, you can use the following steps:
1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment Variables button.
2. Under the User Variables, add the following variable and value:
For Enterprise XI:
Variable Name: BOE_LOGGER_ENVIRONMENT
Variable Value: -trace -loggingPath c:\logs
For Crystal Analysis, Crystal Enterprise, and Crystal Reports version 10 and earlier:
Variable Name: CRYSTAL_LOGGER_ENVIRONMENT
Variable Value: -trace -loggingPath c:\logging

Itunes states "ipod detected but could not be identified properly" when I plug in my new nano. tried uninstalling/reinstalling itunes 6 times - get pop-up "itunes helper error" with abort, retry, ignore options. retry doesn't work

I am trying to connect my new nano to my iTunes account. I keep getting msg "ipod detected but not identified properly. disconnect and reconnect. if problem persists uninstall/reinstall iTunes". I've uninstalled/ reinstalled iTunes 6 times but keep getting the same msg.
when installing iTunes I get a pop-up "iTunes helper error" check access. with options to abort, retry, ignore. retry doesn't work. ignore installs iTunes but it doesn't recognize my nano. abort shuts down the download.
how do I fix these problems??

LV 8 problem with New Report.vi in compiled program

I'm a novice LV programmer trying to finish my first project. The project is the automation of an air flow stand using field point for acquisition/control. Have the code written and everything seems to work fine until I compile. Specifically, I get an error when I attempt to open an Excel template (XLT) using the New Report.vi included in the report generation add on. When the compiled executable run I get a message with the header "Error 7 occured at Open VI reference in New Report vi>report2.vi>auto air flow testing.vi . And then in the body of the message is says:

Built Application or Shared Library (DLL): Make sure all dynamically loaded VIs were properly included in the build specification for the application or shared libr
The input to the New Report.vi template connector is C:\Air Flow Data Files\templates\psc.xlt. Again this works in design so I believe the formatting is correct and the file does exist.
Why would this work in design environment but not the compiled program? I recompiled several times and even tried reinstalling the report generation tool kit. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. I will be happy to supply more info if necessary. thanks.
