Help! Error Message I Can't Decode!
Starting a couple of days ago, my iTunes will not open when prompted, citing a problem with my audio configuration. This is all the information I've been able to get. I've downloaded new drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled my hardware, and uninstalled iTunes and downloaded the updated version, all to no avail. Please help me, I can't connect my iPod!
OSX has certain character strokes that are not to be used in file names. It's most likely the cause.

That's a different file.
Try this:
1. Click on your desktop
2. Then in the Go menu click on Go To Folder
3. Paste the following line in the Go To Folder dialog and press Go
~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Plugins/Adobe Contact Sheet II PSE12/Elements
4. That should open a finder window something like below.
Drag the Adobe Contact Sheet PSE12 Prefs to the Trash on the dock
5. Start the pse 12 editor and see the contact sheet II works. -
I downloaded Maverick X 9.2 on my Mac Air. I get this error message: "You can't open the application "microsoft Word" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported." Help?
QUESTION: Were you induced to upgrade to Mavericks after seeing this dialog box?

The phone was jailbroken. That's what that error indicates. You can't get help here. You can't get help from Apple.

Can't get my Icloud to connect to outlook. Error message - setup can't continue because outlook isn't configured to have a default profile. Help! Can't sync my contacts or calender with my other devices. Email works fine. Steve
I've looked at the Microsoft support info and it doesn't reveal anything new. I looked up the eM Client software and have decided to give it a try. I've been using Thunderbird and Gmail for years, but the issue of keeping contacts in snyc accross platforms led me to try Outlook as supposedly compatable with iCloud. Thanks for eM Client tip. It seems to work well and I'll be testing it for the next few weeks. While I'd still like to be able to solve the issue with Outlook (I'm not used to being defeated by software), I've got plenty of other things to keep me busy and a working solution is the priority here.

I could not install the upgrade for iTunes and Error Message said " Can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing". Reinstalling has NOT helped. . Is the fault with the Apple iTunes upgrade?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique. -

I've made sure a dozen times that my home page is set correctly, and when I hit the home button next to the search bar it works and takes me right to google BUT whenever i open a new tab i get the error that my page cannot load and the web url that it keeps trying to remember is in the error message:
Firefox can't find the file at chrome://quick_start/content/index.html.

IPod won't restore...error message saying "Can't mount iPod"...
I have determined that I need to restore my iPod based on my problem (I manually update playlists and cannot add a playlist because I get an error message saying "The disk cannot be read from or written to.") So I open iPod updater 11-17-2005 to try to restore my iPod and I get an error message saying "Can't mount iPod". I can't restore or update my iPod because of this error message. Can anyone help me? I came to charge my iPod because the battery went low, after few minutes it came on with this do not disconnect, i tried to restore it also says can't mount, it has been exactly two days. I disconnected the iPod and the backlight and the message did not go off until the battery ran out. Playing mp4 audio gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt"
Playing a particular mp4 audio file directly from a website link gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt". However other mp4 audio files from this same website do work correctly. What can I do to get all the the mp4 audio files to play directly from the same website? I must have the correct plugins, etc. since the other files play. This file is not playing from YouTube, is it on the website.

MP4 files should be handled by Firefox itself, not a plug-in.

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues downloading some episodes to your iPad.
I would first suggest you sign out of your iTunes account on your iPad, restart the device and sign back in.
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap on your Apple ID account > Tap Sign Out
