Help! Error Number 0X80040

Hi. I have a nomad zen xtra 30 gb. I am still learning how to use it. Here's where I went wrong. I unplugged in my mp3 player into my computer before installing the software.

Now, I can only load the Creative Media Source Organizer. I have tried to load the Creative Nomad Explorer but I can't. I've tried uninstalling, manually deleting Creative files, and modifying & repairing creative files to no avail. Help! I am not a techie. Always, Error Number 0X8004020 Description: An event was unable to invoke any of the subcribers.
Also, Is it possible to store photos on my nomad? In the instruction manual it says it's possible and to use the Nomad Explorer tool however, I can't load it on my comp. Always, that awful that Error Number 0X8004020.

I'm experiencing this same error in Vista and the solution listed does not help. The solution claims that the uninstall should execute cleanly when running in safe mode without generating the error in question, yet even in safe mode, 0x8004020 taunts me. Any ideas? I'd just like to be able to remove this neatly.

I did?the recommended Microsoft update?and I installed the new Internet Explorer version 7. After that, my sounds and audio does not work. I get the "No Audio Device" message in the "Microsoft Sounds and Audio Device". All controls?apear in a gray ligth color and nothing works. i have the same problem. there is a program that works. it calls KX project.. it works.. i have too. but i think the music not even powerfull as the original program. my bass it not loud enough.. with KX can i not turn it up.. only with my system. :S mayby is there a other alternatief program.. sorry for the complicaded english

What app are you trying to download? Is it iPhoto for iOS? What error message are you receiving? The first thing I would suggest is to log out of your iTunes Store account on your iPhone. Then restart the device and log in again.

Can't Uninstall/Install Quicktime error number: 0x80040707

I am also having probelms with quicktime. I went to uninstall/reinstall it and have had no luck. When I run the uninstall shield, it starts and then before it goes farther than half way loaded it disappears.
I tried everything listed in the post below mine with no luck but I noticed that I have a different error code.
Also, I tried to install the standalone 7.0.4, it installs and then before it completes, when I click finish is comes up with this error:

this is the error msg i get.and i went thru ur previous posts and did everything it said.the problem is still there.and as u stated in one of ur posts,itunes was working perfectly until i installed a video codec.i donno what happened after that.i tried restoring my computer to a previous setting.still it doesnt solve the problem.

If you can not use CS4 menu Help>Activate|Deactivate to get the install working again you may need to re-install CS4.

Problem with apple mobile device: i've tried to activated it by going in "services" but it tells me error number 1053!

While importing a project getting an error as:
Import Error: com.fatwire.cs.core.realtime.DataException: com.fatwire.assetapi.common.AssetAccessException: Error met whiling saving assets [AttrTypes:1415189814137] and the error number is -12018

-12018 means " Missing publication."
Since the DemoSite is a new site that doesn't exist in the CSDT target environment, I would import the site first, e.g.

NOTE: Make sure the site was exported to your datastore before import.
Then, import assets of this site:

I'm trying to uninstall quicktime so that i can do something about my itunes which isn't working properly (love how everything is connected huh?) Newayz i get that error and says that

I made his account an administrator account so we could load iTunes and have his iPod recognized on this computer. Installation stops with "Error number:0x80040707 while loading iTunes" displayed. When I click OK the next window says "Access Denied" and we're done.+
Gosh, but it's been a long time since I've seen that error message code in this context ... (You've presumably got an iTunes version 6.0.5.20 or lower installed in your User account?) But it was certainly possible to get one flavor of the 0x80040707 (there were a bunch of different varieties, distinguished by the details of the error message text) if you had an older version of iTunes installed in one user account, and then tried to install a higher version in a different user account.
Porcupine is correct here. You don't have to install iTunes in a different user account to use it there, so long as it is already installed in a different one. There's details here:

If you have to upgrade iTunes to use the new ipod, I'd first try doing the upgrade from inside your account rather than his. Does that get you past the 0x80040707?

Crystal Reports 2008 Viewer Syntax error number: -2146827286

I have CrystalReportViewer12 installed on Apache/Tomcat 6. I have configured all components as necessary: installed jars and setup web.xml/CRConfig.xml. I can get the report to display appropriately in my jsp page. But when I try to use the Go To Next Page button I receive the following error:

Translating the error message on bablefish I get:
Mistake with the store of the data bank information. Mistake in the file Report {C6512421-348A-4621-B1ED-895D28646A0A} .rpt
Which I'm sure is not 100% accurate, but it gives a good hint. As well, because of this:
"Do I need to install an additional / diffrent runtime than 2008 Runtime"
I wonder how you installed the CR 12 runtime on that computer? For more info on CR runtimes, see [this|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/CrystalReportsforVisualStudio.NETRuntimeDistribution-Versions9.1to12.0] wiki.
If my suggestion above does not help, make sure the Win\temp directory can be accessed buy the application. Crystal Reports runtime needs to write and read files from the temp directory.

Problem in creating the ADODB.Connection object Error Number returned:-2147024770

We are migrating our applications from Windows 2003 to 2008 application server. We have vbs script in a job which is invoked from Tivoli Workload Scheduler (Windows)/JOBLNCH 8.5.1. We are getting the error while creating ADOBD object (Error Number returned:-2147024770).
The error does not occur when we directly run the job on the 2008 server, but only when invoked throught the TWS scheduler. Also, this error is not occurring on 2003 server when run through the TWS.
Here is the code snippet used to create object.

BAPI_PO_CHANGE error number 351

I am facing a problem while trying to update a Partner in the Purchase order header.
I am doing it through the BAPI "BAPI_PO_CHANGE" and getting error number 351 "Please enter a valid partner role".
Please let me know how to remove this error.

I figured out the issue.
When I go to ME22n and try to add the Partner in shows a successful message but does not display the Partner there. This is because the "ebtype" I am trying to add is not present when I try to search it using F4.
Can you tell me how can I add it in the F4 search help?
