Help! Error: "ReportCrash[579]: Trying to extract VM information using cr2"

I've been noticing my fan running at 5000rpm all day long. I checked the activity monitor and see that my crashreporter is using up my CPU.

Please help! Feels like my computer is going to break down anytime soon.
Thanks!!

Okay I seem to have found the culprit. When I shut down Google Chrome my fan starts slowing down to a normal state.

  • Help Error 9. Tried all suggestions

Before you give any suggestion like try a new usb, i've tried 5, including genuine apple ones. Different USB port? I've also tried many on different computers. Firewall and antivirus? all off. Uninstall and reinstall iTunes? Did that too. Tiny umbrella? Tried it. iFaith? That too. DFU mode? ohhh numerous times. Charge the phone? Yeah.
Only thing that I haven't tried is a suggestion I read stating the issue was that iTunes could not verify the ipsw because of bad disc permissions, however I am on a windows pc... The person was very vague... Is there some kind of way I can ensure the ipsw is accepted by apple. I am updating to the newest ipsw wich is the 8.1.3 downloaded through iTunes
NOTE: I am stuck in recovery mode. I tried to restore, it gets as far to "verifying iphone with apple" then crashes. Doesn't even stay a good second- it just crashes.
What had happened was I went to bed, it died overnight, I plugged it in when I woke up, it was in a boot loop, guess it got tired of crashing (like legit over a 100 times) then eventually went into recovery mode. And now I'm here, 4 days later, 4 chargers bought, different laptops used. Host files modified, programs downloaded, ethernet connection. NOTHING WORKS.
Can someone please help me... Pretty desperate now. Oh also (Error 9) seems to be my favourite.

  • Please Help - Error message when trying to open itunes

    Hi
Can someone help pls? I was in the middle of upgrading my version of itunes and my computer crashed. Now when I try to open itunes I get an error message as follows: 'iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience'.
I don't know what to do! I am worried I have lost all of my music!?

    hiya!
'Quick time failed to initialize. Error # - 2095. Please make sure QuickTime is properly installed on this computer'.
okay, let's try a careful standalone QT reinstall:
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.
    Quicktime 7.1 Standalone Installer
if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)
    love, b

  • Error message when trying to extract and install

Why do I keep getting an error message for CS6 beta when I try to extract and install, message file missing?

I assume you downloaded from here:  http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/photoshopcs6/
Did you successfully download the file and check file sizes match? Do you extract ok?  PC, I assume? What OS are you using?
How far did you get in the installation? Did you select TRY rather than enter serial number? Did you enter your Adobe ID?
By the way, you should change your name to something other than your email as the bots will go nuts when they find that and you may get spam.

  • Need help - Error while updating the firmware of Muvo Slim using the recovery t

    Hi ,
While I am trying to update my Muvo slim firmware using the recovery tool it throwd up an error. And from then onwards if I am trying to power it up it won't.
If I again try to update the firmware, it throws up the error that "Unable to Write to Device: Device Time out".
I am afraid that my Muvo slim got bricked. Can you please help me in recovering the same.
PS: My PC OS is Windows XP.
    Thank & Regards
    ksraghava?

On my XP system, the last time I wanted to reload the firmware, I had to remove all of my Creative software programs,?and then revert my Windows Media Player back to 0 and then use The Recovery Tool. It is a bit of a pain, but does seem to work when you are getting errors with the firmware download.

Almost forgot. Make sure your player is fully charged or has a fresh battery before starting any firmware download.

  • Please Help: Error Message:"IP Configuration: IP Address Already In Use..."

I'm not sure where to post this, but I'm going to start here... I have been having this issue and its really beginning to scare me.
*_The Problem:_* I keep getting a message with a RED Exclamation Sign and its titled "IP Configuration" and says this: *123.456.0.1 already using DHCP 123.456.0.100*
I have been clicking okay, but finally one day got annoyed and called the mac people to get help and... they didnt help a bit.
So now I am trying to find help from others.... please help. give as many suggestion as possible and i'll continue to google for help. Thanks.
*So is someone else using my address?*
*Is someone able to see my screen and information and stuff?*
    *Why is this happening?*
Please answer these questions if possible.

To really help, a description of how the network you use to get online is configured is needed. Are you using wireless? Are there other computers that use this network and if so, what operating system are they running? What sort of router and modem are you using? etc.
So is someone else using my address?
Either another machine is using your IP address, or something is wrong with the DHCP server.
Is someone able to see my screen and information and stuff?
    Probably not.
    Why is this happening?
My guess is that the firmware on your router needs to be updated.

  • Help! Stumped after trying 5 R's and using computer management

Hi, I have an iPod 4th generation with a click wheel. Recently, when i tried to update using 7.02, my ipod said i needed to reconfigure to original factory settings. I tried to do so, and went through all the "5 R's." None of the worked, and then I tried to go to Computer Management and change the location of what my ipod was being read as when connected to the computer, unfortunately nothing even showed up under computer management, yet when I click on my computer and look under the folders, it's located on the E or F drive. I read another post that says to change it to like N or O, but currently I can't even access that. Also, each time I plug my ipod in, itunes says that I need to reformat my ipod to windows setting, but it's an HP ipod, so I'm not really sure why that would be. Any help or suggestions?

dont worry. my ipod JUST did that afew minutes ago. it went dark and wasnt being recognized by itunes. its my third day with it so i was freaking out. but all i did was hold down the menu button and the center button at the same time for afew seconds and it snapped right out of it. it may not even work the first time so keep trying. once you see the apple logo youre okay. but if nothing shows up just take it back to an apple store[not where you bought it mostlikely] and they'll return it and get you another. hope it helps.

  • Get Volume Info.vi returns error 7 when trying to get disk information on cRIO-9025

    Hi,
I'm using a cRIO-9025 controller and wish to get the disk volume information of drive C: using the Get Volume Info function in the file I/O palette. When I run the function with the path as "C:\", the function returns an error 7 indicating that the path is incorrect.
I have used this function prior to this with cRIO but unfortunately I do not have any older devices with me to verify this now. I'm using LabVIEW 2009 SP1.
    Many thanks!
    Cheers!

  • Error message when trying to view a table using SM30

I'm getting the following syntax message for all tables in a function group:
"BSPC_DL_XMLSTRX2" must be a flat structure. You cannot use internal tables, strings, references, or structures as components. -
I believe this was generated through the easy enhancement workbench.  It won't let me modify the structure using the Table Maintenance Generator in SE11.  How can I get this object removed from this function group?
    thanks.

    Hi
    Common issues for this :
    1. Once you install crystall add on ,you need to go to Crystal report Administration >Account setup .
Put on the user name and password and click on creating ext tables
Try then running the report .
    If not the case ,
make sure you install runtime .
    You need :
1.Crystal report basic from SAP download -(Not necessary if you want only report viewer >
2.You need to have crystal integration addon (I think service pack is SP1)
3.Make sure you have runtime install
When you are installing ,make sure you restart your PC before you do or remove temporary file s
    Hope this solves your issue

  • How to use NI CAN feature for extracting DBC information without a CAN Interface?

    Hi,
I'm looking for some tricks in order to extract DBC Information using the NI CAN without a CAN interface...
Basically I have some DBC files and I would to analyze them to get hierarchy Messages and Channels (and their related information, offset, scale, etc.).
    http://www.ni.com/white-paper/4294/en/
The function CAN Get Names is usefull and allow me depending on the mode to get a list of the Channels and Messages described in the DBC file. However, I'm encountering one major issue and none of the least, I cannot use the function the CAN Get Property... As it required a connector based on Task that I cannot provide since I dont have any real and physical CAN interface, for now. Therefore I cannot have any information about the channels neither about the messages...
Does anybody can give me a hand to fix that matter?

It seems that no matter the virtual port I am using, it does not work. Could you have a look at my sample.vi, I know it's poorly wired, especially since I'm more in .NET things than NI from my occupation ^^'. I also provided a dummy DBC file to simulate a very basic input.
And by the way is there any way then to get the Byte Array / Bit Array corresponding to a certain message (and how to set the signal values required to get the message)?
Your code isn't that bad, relativly easy to follow.  In any case the problem had nothing to do with the CAN port being used.  If you would probe the error wires around you would see that coming out of the CAN Init Start stated that the channel name didn't exist.  Looking at how you had it wired you took the messages (or frames) and put them into the channels terminal, when I assume you wanted the channels.  Then looking at your tree you were again trying to get the ID of a channel, but giving it the message name.  I also added reading the Start Bit, Number of Bits, and Byte Order for all the channels read.
If you were to do this with XNET there would be completelly different functions, but the same operations can be done.
