Help! Error transferring from LR to Photoshop

Getting the following error when trying to move a LR file (from ONE specific drive) into Photoshop for editing.
"Lightroom was unable to prepare the selected file: (file location) for editing. It will not be opened."
Have already done the following to troubleshoot and these are NOT the issues:
Checked permissions on drive - NOT in read-only status
LR on another computer accessing the SAME drive is able to export to Photoshop (so not an issue with the drive)
Making a new catalog pulling from the same drive gives the same exact error (so not a catalog issue)
I am able to pull the file directly into Photoshop (so not a photoshop or drive issue, even reinstalled Photoshop!)
Other drives that this catalog are accessing are fine, I am able to pull images into photoshop within this catalog, just not off this drive.
I am able to export to a folder or other location, just not to Photoshop
LR is reading the files from this drive, there is no linking/mapping issue, it simply can not export to Photoshop
Other Notes
*It happened randomly - this catalog has been in use and everything working properly for years. Although it *may* have started after the upgrade to LR 2.6, I can't remember.
*On Windows 64bit, running Windows 7

The initial post mentions CS4. Is it true that there was only a 32-bit version of Bridge for CS4? Since the problem appears to be intermittent, I am going to guess that sometimes the 32-bit version of PS is open and sometimes the 64-bit version of PS is open and one of those versions doesn’t have ACR installed properly, while the other one does. If the version of PS that has ACR installed properly is open then things work ok. If it is not then things don’t. To test this theory open the 32-bit version of Photoshop, do a Help / About Plug-in… / Camera Raw… and try opening a raw file and see if ti works, then repeat the process for the 64-bit version of Photoshop and see if there is any difference.
As Noel says, there is a 32-bit and a 64-bit version of the Camera Raw.8bi plug-in 5.7 and each of these has to be in the corresponding folder—you can’t just copy one into the other and expect things to work. It might be best to delete both the Camera Raw.8bi plug-ins and re-install the update, again, and check both CS4-versions of the folder paths Noel mentions and see that there are two different files, with similar dates but the 64-bit one being slightly larger, I think, or at least a slightly different size than the 32-bit one.
As far as where to find the Photoshop.exe’s for 32-bit and 64-bit PS CS4 if you don’t have both shortcuts with explicit labels, the 32-bit one is under Program Files (x86) and the 64-bit one is under Program Files.

IPods are designed to transfer music in a one way fashion. Meaning, iPods can only have music transferred to them via iTunes, not vice versa. So, in your case, where the iPod mini has your music on its memory, you will be unable to transfer the actual music back to the computer. Hopefully, you have the music from the iPod mini stored on your computer or on some flash drive to be able to import the same music to the iPod nano. I am assuming that this is the case, your music being on iTunes, else other implications would have occurred in updating the iPod mini. Put simply, you need to have your music solely on iTunes and transfer from there to the iPod nano. Hopefully this helps.

Okay, need help with transferring from computer to computer...

I borrowed 5 movies from a friend so I could put them in the format for him to put on his iPod, since he couldn't figure it out, and he uses a Mac and I use Windows, I couldn't really help him out.
So I have them all coded right for him, but the problem is, I have 5 movies, and one or two of them are bigger than my 700mb CD's can hold!
Is there a way that I can put them on my iPod, bring my iPod to his computer, plug it in, and take them off my iPod and put them on his iTunes? Or is this just a dream I wish would come true?

Unknown error when copying any object from Illustrator to Photoshop

When trying to copy an object from Illustrator CS5 and paste it to Photoshop CS5 on Windows 7 I get the the following error when I switch from Illustrator to Photoshop:
The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [pdf!]
This only happens between Illustrator and Photoshop - copying an object to InDesign works fine.
I deleted the full Adobe preferences folder on D:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe but that doesn't help.
Am I the only one with this issue?

Sounds like your iPhone was hacked to unlock and now updating locks back to the original carrier.

after perusing other subjects with playback issues:
this is the fix:
-Launch Control Panel - Double click Quicktime, If you do not see quicktime, look on the top left side of control panel and switch to classic view. This will then allow you to see Quicktime.
-Now click the advanced tab and click on Safe Mode GDI Only, Apply, then ok.

You need to do it through iTunes, by unsyncing them
Wtih your iPhone connected, open iTunes on your computer, and click on your iPhone's name.
This should bring up the Overview Page, then click on the Photos Tab.
From their uncheck the folders that have the images you want top remove from your phone. Then sync the phone. itunes will remove the pictures during the sync process.

I'm not completely familiar with the technicalities, but one of the things that will cause Product Transfer to fail with the exception "Processing Error" (RC = 2) is a missing or full Number Range. So check the Number Range SLL_PROD, and make sure that Interval '01' exists with available numbers.
As far as I know, the Product Transfer works ok with more-or-less any versions of ECC and GTS.
