Help Everything in my phones memory is gone

I recently update firmware to 7.21, there was no problem initially.after 2wks, all application in my phone was gone e.g all the preinstalled nokia games,themes, application. My memory card was intact. What happened to my phone & ow can i get my app back. I used nokia 3110c

It may have needed to be cleared to get it to work again (which is the usual fix if a problem occurs with a Shopping Cart). There's nothing you can do but go back and re-locate the tracks.
I strongly advise not keeping tracks just sitting in your Shopping Cart. It's not designed to be a "wish list"; too may problems can crop up. If you want a "wish list", make a new playlist and drag the tracks from the iTunes Store to that playlist. That will keep them for future purchase (presuming that they're still available when you go to purchase them; sometime content gets removed from the Store).
Someone suggested the make a 'Wish List", Why does the playlist not show up on my iPod? Can you get it to?
If you're referring to the above-referenced process for creating a wish list playlist, then no, it's not going to transfer to an iPod since you don't have the tracks on your system. All you have is a pointer to them. So there's nothing to be transferred.

E61i help - Messages stuck in phone memory

I recently changed the setting on my e61i from saving messages to the phone memory to saving them on the memory card. The next step was moving the messages from the phone memory to the memory card.
Now I have about 3MB of messages stuck in the phone memory somehow and I have not been able to find them so that I can delete them. Would anyone happen to have any thoughts?
Also, if I have to resort to a hard reset, are settings saved when backing up to the memory card?

Hi there,
Have you tried changing the memory in use for messaging back to the phone memory under menu > messaging > options > settings > other > memory in use > phone memory.
Shouldn't it reflect the messages that are stored in the phone memory and thus enable you to delete them.

C3 lost phone memory and features

I was deleting messages from my inbox when my phone just hung for a few seconds then shut down. When i turned it on, my settings reset. All my contacts, messages, stuff from my gallery were all gone. There's no "inbox" in my messaging. No ovi. In my internet menu there's just home, browser and web services. EVERYTHING from my phone memory were gone and some of the phone's features too. Please help.

I had this problem with my old C3.
Basically I turned the phone off because I was at work, when I turned it back on all my settings had been deleted along with the gallery and contacts. All I could do with the phone as make calls and send text messages. The browser had been deleted too.
I was with Vodafone UK (spits on the floor) who took my phone and re flashed it. About 3 weeks later the same thing happened again, everything gone again!
In a nutshell Vodafone refused to replace the phone (even though it was less than 3 months old even though by law if the product is faulty within the first 6 months of ownership it will be taken that the product was faulty at the point of sale). I threatened to take them to court and reported the matter to trading standards. I ended up being given my N8 as compensation.
I ended up taking both my N8 and C3 to a Nokia care point (as the N8 went faulty shortly after I received it and I had to have the motherboard replaced under warranty). I explained about my C3 and as it was under warranty they reflashed and reinstalled everything on the phone. That was about 10 months ago. My wife now has the phone and uses it on another network. It's been fine and we've had no further problems since.
My advice is to take it to a Nokia Care Point if it is still under warranty.
It was fixed within the hour and we've had no problems since.
Vodafone were useless and I even got accused by one of their staff of downloading 'material' on the phone and was told that that's why it went wrong the second time (even though they had not even looked at the phone and I hadn't downloaded any 'material'). Completely unprofessional, hence I am no longer with them (still have the N8 though...)
If the OP is with Vodafone then I would suspect that maybe there is something within the Vodafone pre-installed detritus that is causing this issue...Another reason to take it to a Nokia Care Point.

Nokia N91 phone memory problem

I have owned this Nokia N91 for a year and 9 months. Phone memory is a problem as i cannot recieve any messages. The message, not enough memory to recieve message(s), delete some data. I have taken absolutely everything off the phone memory except messages, contacts, and calender data, yet i still have something taking up 14 of my 15MB's of memory. What can i do as i can't recieve any messages. I have tried allocating messaging memory to the hard drive but i am presented with the same problem. Please help as i need to keep this phone working till May.

Help me with my phone

I have a Nokia e51 and deleted a folder in "c:/private" , after I restarted the phone It doesn't want to start, only a white screen appears... Any help?

Always remember to backup your phone before performing resets as your data may be lost.
First try these
*#7780# - Restore factory settings - resets all the settings to the default
*#7370# - Reformat your phone
If the above two don't work then try these.
Firstly take the battery out for 5 minutes and then replace and see if that makes any difference.
Then try the "3 finger deep reset" which is depress these three keys simultaneously "*" "3" "green phone" and then power on phone whilst keeping those same three keys depressed until you hear start-up tone.
This should ONLY be done if the device doesn't power up normally anymore and it wipes everything in the Phone memory that is not part of the ROM.

E72 phone memory suddenly drops to 98 MB

My E72 has been oddly sluggish of late, without me having made any changes at all. Just now I checked the phone memory in File Manager. Have deleted absolutely everything superfluous in Phone memory except anythign system-related of course.
I am also constantly getting this flipping message, whether accessing mail or not.
"Website has sent a certificate which is out of date." with the option: Accept anyway? > Accept this time only or > Certificate details (which are basically) imap.mail.ovi.com ... ... valid from 29-08-2011)

1) For your phone memory to be 0 you must have apps and everything stored there on C: and not utilising the mass storage E:.
I agree with matt_t that is how it is done when using bluetooth so havent a clue whats going on there.
2) Have you tried plugging your phone into your PC via USB and exploring your N97 throught my computer if using windows and double clicking the N97 icon.
Looking for the C: Phone folder and finding the song and dragging and dropping into E:mass memory music folder????
OR drag from your C: to your PC and dragging back to E:mass memory Music Foler if the above doesnt work.
BUT 1 song is usually on around 3MB so you still have issues with 0 memory.
3) If all your apps are stored on C: why dont you uninstall them and install onto your E:mass memory.
4) Internet i havent a clue about but with your memory so so low thats the least of your problems at the moment.
Thats all i have to help with i hope you find your song and your memory increases.

i'm developing one appln in j2me.in that i want to read and save images from and to phone memory.i already tried it with file connection api.File connection api supports only CLDC1.1 most of the mobile supports CLDC1.0
can u tell me a soln for this read and write.is there any other API to be used to make use of Fileconnection within CLDC1.0 itself

No Memory Card, Want Pics Off Phone Memory! Looking Everywhere for answers PLS HELP!!!!!!

I Just recieved a new bb curve 3G from my hubby. I took a few pictures, but have not yet bought a memory card. I want to know how to get the pics i took already OFF my phone an onto my computer. I find it kind of dumb if you can't take the pics off your phone without a card as they are saved to my phone memory... Pls any help would be appreciated! Driving me nuts!!!!

When you get the media card, simply move the pictures to the media card right from the device. The only other way to do it is to install the Desktop Manager software to your computer and get the pictures through that.

i know, it was not new.. so it could have been on an other cell provider i am not sure if it was so at the moment that is all i can do

Help Pls N79 Phone Memory

Hi just bought a Nokia N79 having problems with the phone memory. A pop up msg keeps popping up say memory full delete data. What Data? I've noticed that any application i enter the memory becomes less.
Pls help this is becoming really irritating.

this is more specific to n97 but the basics will work for any phone.
There are some things you can do to manage the C memory better/phone memory.
1. Clear your browser cache often
2. set different message allocation ( if you have not done so already)
messaging- options- settings- other ( set it to 999, and e memory)
3. Go to OVI store (app on your phone) and change that memory allocation for most apps.
opitons- account- settings- installation preferences
4. Remove Facebook, Accu Weather, Bloomberg, apps from the C drivve and reinstall them via OVI store and place them in the E memory/mass memory
NOTE: If you are using Nokia Messaging application, it can only store data on the C drive so keep that in mind
NOTE: RAM is another issue with N97. Don't keep too many apps running at the same time as it will run out of RAM and either close all applications on the spot or crash the phone and result in restart.
BETTER RAM management : Here are some things to consider
also consider investing in the best taskman 1.99$ in the ovi store or y browser (free) to manage your ram and all the apps that are runnig on the phone that you might want to close if you are not using them.

C3 phone memory showing full but phone empty HELP

i have a c3 an the phone memory is says i only have 3mb left yet nothin is on my phone ive tried to hard reset the phone to factory settings but this just lessens my small amount of memory i have got left... when i explore my phone i have nothing in it evan deleted clip arts etc to free spae up... please someone help me

I have been having this problem since the latest update a few days ago. I was out using my phone for about 3 hours and it showed that it was still full and all of a sudden it shut down. I restored my phone and it's doing it again as I'm typing. I have to shut down the phone and turn it on again a few times for the battery indicator to show the correct charge.
Another issue that I've been seeing since the 3.0 update is my service indicator constantly showing "searching" even though i can make calls. For this to be corrected I have to either 1. shut down my phone and turn it back on or 2. place it on "airplane" mode then turn "airplane" mode off.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and install any updates available.
Navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all contents and settings on the device you want to restore.
When this completes and the Set-Up Assistant starts, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose which backup to restore from.
