Help...everything is lost!!!

I've got an issue that I have been unable to find the answer to. I had my itunes loaded on my laptop, which has since crashed and my itunes was the one thing that I didn't have backed up on a disc. i went to reinstall on my desktop pc. When I went to sync my ipod, which still had all of the songs loaded, there was a message that was unclear, but it said something to the effect of do you want to add or merge the files...as it was loading it found my ipod which had all my songs in there. I pressed the button, and everything is gone. Is there any way to reset or get those files back??? Pls help. Thanks. f

The most important thing is to stop using that startup drive immediately to avoid overwriting parts of the drive that may still be recoverable. You'll most likely need to make a new startup disk on an external and run the recovery from there.
A little late but a helpful tool for future re-installs is Pacisifist. It can install individual apps from Apple installer discs.

My hard drive crashed a while back and I lost all of the iTunes music that I had purchased. I have now replaced my hard drive. Do I have to go back and re-purchase everything I lost, or does the iTunes web site maintain a record of my purchases so I can download them again for free??? HELP!

apple does not allow but one download of what you buy, and recommends you backup what you have or you will have to buy it again.
If you have an ipod you can copy it off the ipod. If not you can HOPE they will offer a free redownload to you by emailing the store. there under NO obligation to do so but some have had luck in doing this. You can redownload you previously purchased apps for free as long as they are still available in the app store. Be sure you are logged into the Apple ID in iTunes used to purchase them, then follow this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519.

Try a hard reset:- hold the home button AND the power switch - ignore the red "Slide to power off" and wait ubntil the iPhone powers down, and then restarts - at the Apple logo, release all the buttons and see if your contacts reappear.

Your Downloads folder should be in your Home folder. Just drag it to the Dock.
If you've managed to delete it, try creating a new folder called 'Downloads'. You will probably need to nominate it in Safari or any other browser preferences as your download destination. (Safari Preferences>General, 'Save downloaded items to:' menu)

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page should let you reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

The steps below may help get your events and projects to appear in iMovie.
Verify that the latest iMovie update is installed.
Open the Mac App Store.
Click the Updates tab.
Click Update All or the Update button that appears next to iMovie.
After verifying that you have the latest version of iMovie, you can update your projects and events by following these steps.
In the Finder, click the Go menu and choose Home.
Open the Movies folder.
In the iMovie Projects and iMovie Events folders, you’ll find a file named “UpdatedtoiMovie10.” Move this file to the Trash from both folders.
Open iMovie.
Choose File > Update Projects and Events.
iMovie will update your projects and events. You can repeat these steps for projects and events stored on external drives.

I've recently formatted my PC harddri've deleting everything but lost my driver/software CD for my Creative Zen Touch 40B. I searched the download section but only found upgrade software/drivers. Although they are referred to as updates they still work.
Assuming you still have the v firmware you ought to get the following:
. Creative Zen and Jukebox Driver Upgrade version .30.03
2. Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer 3.30.2
3. Creative Zen and NOMAD Jukebox plugin 2.00.9 for Creative MediaSource
Install . then connect the player to the PC. Then install 2. and 3. (the player must be connected for 2. to verify you have a Creative product).

Currently the Airport Utility does not appear to be on the downloads page, you can call Apple support line to receive a replacement disk, but be aware there may be a charge for replacement CDs.

According to your profile, the phone is an iPhone 4, right? I'd also advise u not to constantly call the phone as you may cause the person who took the phone to be in distress if its not a trustable person, or it has not been handed to the police or any safe place; resulting in your phone getting turned off, drain battery faster etc.
1. Is it iOS 5?
2. Have you turned on Find my iPhone in the initial setup process? It's integrated into iOS 5 I believe due to iCloud. Not iOS4
3. Is data on?
4. Theif hasn't turned it off
If these criterias are satisfied, your phone can possibly be tracked with iCloud at http://www.icloud.com
Click the tiny iCloud icon on the left side of your screen, select find my iPhone.
DO NOT ALERT THE THIEF BY PLAYING A SOUND IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO DECREASE CHANCES OF RECOVERY - It's a no turning back for whoever he/she is.
Possibly, get a trusted buddy or anyone close to you to borrow you an iPhone WITH Find my iphone, you probably can track it real time with the google maps on Find my iPhone. You need to login to your apple id.

Have you tried reseting your device by holding home+power button until the apple logo appears? If this doesnt hel ,please back up your device and do a fresh restore with itunes. To do a restore, follow these steps:
