I've receiver an error
ORA 01023 - Cursor context not found (Invalid Cursor #). Does
anyone recognize this? What could be some possible symptoms? Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Workaround for MailTo Yahoo! Mail Helper Application bug?

I don't know if there is an active bug report for this, but for Firefox 8 with the MailTo Helper Application set to Yahoo! Mail, choosing [i]File: Send Link[/i] opens the Yahoo mail form and inserts [b][i]mailto:?To=[/i]<link>[/b] into the [b]To:[/b] field, instead of simply inserting [b]<link>[/b] into the Body.
I tried setting up a new MailTo Helper Application via a Javascript similar to those prescribed here: [url]http://www.davidgilson.co.uk/2009/09/make-webmail-firefoxs-default-mail-client[/url], but Firefox did not seem to respond to the script.
I also installed GmailDefaultMaker (which also supports Yahoo Mail and several other webmails) and tried to use that to straighten out Firefox's Yahoo Mail setup, but it accomplished nothing.
Working with the preferences in About:Config got me nowhere.
Editing MimeTypes.rdf with Windows XP Wordpad was promising. (Notepad doesn't work due to the wrong kind of character encoding.) Replacing every instance of "http://compose.mail.yahoo.com/?To=%s" with "http://compose.mail.yahoo.com/?Body=%s" results in [b][i]mailto:?Body=[/i]<link>[/b] being inserted into the Body. That is an improvement, but nowhere could I find enough documentation about MimeTypes.rdf to figure out how to get rid of [b][i]mailto:?To=[/i][/b].
(For documentation, there is [url]http://kb.mozillazine.org/MimeTypes.rdf[/url], but that is incomplete.)
Does anyone have a workaround?

Tom, thanks for your offer. Here is the explanation from my service provider, which includes a quote of the raw source. They're pointing the finger squarely at Apple Mail. Beats me, can you shed any light? It would be much appreciated...

3D is equal to the = sign in the windows character map and is being written effectively twice, once in its windows format and the other in unicode, this makes the html invalid and unreadable by some readers and fails all validators that we've have put it through.

Hello Arch community,
I'm here because I would like to help any way that I can, but I just don't know how. I've been using arch for close to 3 years now, and I'd like to get involved in the bug fixing process. There seems to be a great amount of documentation in regards to properly reporting a bug, and on how to ask for help on the forums, but what I'm looking for is a basic way of getting started with the proactive process of fixing and testing bugs. judging from the size of the bug list, and the new bug-squashing days, it sounds like all of the arch developers would like as much help as they can get with the ever increasing amount of bug reports and I am writing this post not only for my own guidance, but hopefully to encourage others to take part in the fixing process.

Help with Bugs, Please!!!

To make a long story short,
I first was having problems (still am) with "core audio overload", I would play a project then boom error. Sometimes this happens every few seconds which makes it impossible to do anything and makes you look like an idiot when you are showing someone your progress.
I get the error even with only a few recorded instruments. I always hit option x to get the status bar for the CPU and DISK. The CPU and disk run really low (maybe 5-10%) with all of the songs I work on, then I get an error after which the CPU spikes. I have changed all of the different audio settings some have helped a little.
I have tried to play the sample songs that Logic came with specifically the Shiny Toy Guns - LeDisko and it happens with that song too. I saved the project to my hard drive thinking the issues was having it on the CD. It still does not play without the overload error. I would think a 3.0ghz MacPro with 6Gb of RAM and 500Gb HD X4 (OS on one and logic files on another hard drive) would be able to handle this?!?
I have done a lot of different searches on different boards and it seems like I need to wait for an update. Anyone have something to try?
The next thing that has happened on a few of my projects is Logic seems to be overlapping the different audio tracks. I will have guitar on one track and a drum loop another. If I turn up the guitar volume (which can barely be heard), it changes the drum volume. On another project the drum loop cannot be heard and have not found a way to get the volume up. I have to place it is another audio track.
Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Please any help would be wonderful!!!
I have had other issues but won't even go there. I am thinking about taking it to the Genius Bar just don't have a lot of extra time.
I am getting pretty frustrated with these bugs and am thinking about switching back to Logic Pro 7.2

Hello there.. I am having the same issues. Right after the last OSX Update the core audio quits and lag time whenever I edit or try to edit anything turns "the wheel of terror" and I am not able to save anything on Logic 8. I got so frustrated after calling Apple and accomplishing absolutely nothing . They suggested I would #1 defragment the drive (done) and roll back the operating system to an earlier version which would totally suck because of the number of pluggins that I would have to re-install or re authorize would take me weeks. The other delightfull errors I am getting are Audio was too slow ...error # 10010 .. or drive was too slow to process data. I have literally exhausted all options and I am a geek and nothing short of re-installing or rolling back the OS that seems to be the best option according to Apple although they are too proud to admit that they need updates are more bug filled than the previous version.. What a nightmare..! If you happen to come accross any fixes please email me or reply to this post and good luck..

Help filling bug for KDE

i've fouind a bug in KDE but i don't know how to look if has been reported or wherei should report it (program/category), so i ask for you help.
reproducibility is at 100%, here are the step:
1. in /etc/fstab create a nfs folder (mine is on the deskop, and remote is in the lan)
2. make the remote unavailbla (for example turn it off)
3. connect a usb flash/HDD, the system tray will pop up the "available device menu"
4. click on the device to mount and open it
5. enjoy all your plasma desktop freezed
ALT+TAB works, but destop background is black with no icon, and all widget seem frozen.
unmount nfs before point 3 is a work around, but this is tedius; i want my NFS on /etc/fstab as when i'm home i can use it.
Also notice, we can have a
3B. trying to open the CONTAINING folder in ls, file browser, and file selectore (like "save as"), will make them load, but not freeze; you may change folder and will work. In my case, as remopte folder is on "Desktop", trying to open "Deskop" result inthis beaviour
any need/help to report this?

I think it's mainly kio bug, so you should reopen this bug report https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=256291 or file a new one against product kio, component nfs. On the other hand Plasma shouldn't freeze completly when there is a problem with one widget.

light turns off after 5 seconds whate ever the time you set 25 seconds
and the power saver when you set it to default and pressed to preview it freezes
and the contacts cannotn be copied to the memory card

I haven't seen the problems above. I experienced problems with the date changing unexpectedly. It happened to me twice in the past two weeks. In both cases the date was automatically set 6 days in the future.
Automatic update of time&date was off in both times. I have now activated this option just to see if this improves the situation.
This is the only problem that I have noticed so far, other than that I'm happy with 20.149

Help - Publishing Bug

Hi there! Wondering if any of you could give some advice to
me about a bug when I'm publishing. I'm new to Captivate (I've only
used it for 10/15 days)
and you might know the solution.
The Problem
Whenever I seem to publish a Captivate SWF file and it has a
button linking to a page on the internet, it won't work. You can
click it a million times, but it just makes a "click" and doesn't
do anything.
However, when you use the built-in "preview" function in
Captivate it works fine, so there's not a problem with me editing
the button incorrectly.

Help system bug??

Is it just me or does the new "online" help system in DW CS5 seem buggy? I'm not complaining by any means about DW as a whole. I love it. But Since the help system went online, for lack of a better description, it takes forever to load, everytime I do call it up it has to download an update which creates longer waittimes, and it seems to freeze(lockup) very often as well.
Again, is this just an isolated incident on my end? or is there an issue I should know about? report? Thanks for any input!

The Community Help program can be a bit annoying like that at times. I think that performance is affected by the speed of your internet connection.
Open the Community Help program, and select Edit > Preferences. In the General Settings section, set Accessibility Mode to "Open Help in Browser". That should load more quickly.

Copying projects: help doc bug?

Hi all,
The "Projects and Files Windows Keyboard Shortcuts" help page says that to "Copy a project" one does the following:
1) With the focus on the project name, press Shift-F10. Use the arrow keys to scroll to Save Project As.
2) Press Enter to open the Save As dialog box, type the name of the copy, the press Enter.
Unfortunately, whether this is done in either the projects or files window, there is no "Save Project As" menu item.
Left over from an earlier version, perhaps? (I'm running w/the latest hotfix, i think.) Is there a recommended way to duplicate a project?
(And i have to mention that OR searches are the lamest, least useful searches possible... is there any way to do an AND search in the help system? Using +RequiredSearchTerm, or Term1 AND Term2, don't seem to work.)

OK, found the problem - it's there in WebApp projects, but not Java Class Library projects. The same thing is also happening with New > File/Folder > Java Classes > Properties File - creating a Properties File is an option in WebApps, but not Java Class Libraries. Yuck.

Really need help, Weird Bug!

Hey all, this is my first time posting on these forums, I am fairly new to Director, and am making a basic program for my Software design class. (Due in 2 days!!)
This is my problem, I was having trouble coding a button that i wanted to move on mouse enter and move back on mouseleave. I got that workign fine, however after rejoicing at my minor accimplishment, I went to try the entire program from the beginning and found that for some reason my movie would no longer play. I had the sound working fine, but the score would not go any further than frame 1.
When i manually drag the curser thing along the script, i see the animation play fine, so it isnt a problem with that and when i manually go to a fram that loops, i can use buttons etc with no problems, its just that the movie itself WILL NOT PLAY.
However when i go to the options and disable scripts, the movie plays fine, (Except the scripts dont work, obviously). This tells me it must be a problem with one of my scripts.
Now I ask you all this in desperation, is there anything you can think of I may have accidentally included in my scripts that would stop the movies animations from playing? OR is there any thing i can do to work this out for myself??
Also one more question how do i make a variable say for example Global "Boat" equal to the currently selected option in a list. As in one of the pre included flash component lists?? for instance a list with the labels 1,2,3,4,5 and the corresponding data 1,2,3,4,5??

Ios7 sort by artist in music app landscape view help or bug

I have installed IOS7 on my iphone 5 and noticed that when you look at your music in landscape view (used to be coverflow) the music is not sorted by artist ? it was in ios6 coverflow.
I have the option selected in the music options and the msuic is sorted by artist but in portrait mode in music app its sorted by artsist but not in landscape (wall view) in the music app.
anyone noticed this i have all my artist albums all over the place in landscape view in the music app

Need help, iTunes bugging

When i try to play music on iTunes my music plays 2 or 3x faster than it should. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Everyone that has upgraded seem's to have that problem, I also had the same problem.
Note the word "had". I don't know what I did but i opened it up today and its working.
Good luck and lets hope they come out with a fix.
