HELP FAST! Need to go to my wedding-Lightroom 4 does not recognize Nikon D800 files

I try to import my d800 nef files and Lightroom does not recognize them and will not import. I looked on the site and it SAYS it supports them but nothing. I looked for a raw plugin but when I clicked the link it would not go anywhere. HELP! I don't want to shoot my wedding with this camera if LR can't support it and I have to return it to the camera store FAST if not.

But the question is about Lightroom. And Lightroom doesn't use any version of ACR. Lightroom 4 is somewhat compatible with ACR 6.7, and fully compatible with ACR 7.x. Lightroom does not recognize the raw format of files loading from my Nikon AW1 and loads them as jpegs. I know there are updates that would allow this camera to be recognized as shooting raw but I haven't been able to work it out. Any help out there?

I can no longer burn a disc. The command to do so does not appear in my Files menu. All my recordings are 100% legal. I have installed a new version (it still looks the same), but that hasn't helped. I have done so before.

All my music is from legal sources (albums owned by me, others from iTunes), but the Burn Disc command does not appear in the File menu, and nothing I do helps. I downloaded a new version of iTunes, but it still loks the same and may just be the same. But the problem started long before I did that.

I would first try unplugging All the USB devices plugged into your computer, and then plug back in just the iPhone and see if that is recognized. Also, do you have the latest version of iTunes for Windows installed on your PC, as you need to?

The right-hand side shows the files that should be found in the iTunes library folder; sentinel is normally hidden so may not be visible. The core of your iTunes library is the file iTunes Library.itl, you need to restore this, the other library files and the Album Artwork folder, as well as the media folder, to restore your library.

Please provide more information. Do you mean the drive cannot be seen in Finder or on the Desktop? If it is visible in the Finder sidebar but not the Desktop you just have a setting to correct Finder - Preferences - General Tab and make sure External Disks is checked.

If you don't change the settings you have now, I'm sure it will stay working. I believe Apple is phasing out MobileMe and you'd be forced to upgrade eventually.

Yes, it will get upgraded. I have my calendar on Lion and my iPhone 5.0.1 working seamlessly at the moment. That doesn't mean you won't have problems because with new technology that can be expected. Make sure you do a back up if you're worried about losing data.

Help...people picker control does not recognize outlook formated bulk users

Currently out of the box people picker control provides a textbox, User validity icon and a find user book. If there are bulk of users from outlook and paste it, the SharePoint control does not recognize user and cant find bulk
users in the find book directory all at once(need to find user details one at a time) , so I was told to hide the user directory icon and link. Will you please suggest me to on how to hide directory icon? is there a way using JavaScript or Jquery to hide?
Otherwise if there is a way to directly transfer bulk of users from outlook into SharePoint people control works great.
multiple users allowed in sharepoint people picker control however it does not support outlook format in SharePoint people picker.. such as

Nobody has anwered. I have solution and done myself to hide and manage controls on SharePoint list. Key thing here is to map the jquery library correctly and specific version.
Hope this helps at least others and can overcome difficulties I have undergone

I am trying to set up the MiFi4620L jetpack to my brother-in-laws computer, which has WIFI. It does not recognize the jetpack. What do I need to do?

I recently put in a new SIMS card to our MiFi4620L Jetpack. When I was at the Verizon Store the person who was helping me was able to sign onto the internet via the jetpack. Now that I have my brother-in-laws computer, which has WIFI, I am unable to set up the Jetpack. It does not recognize it. What do I need to do to get it set up?

If the PC cannot "See" the Jetpack then that means one of the following has happened:
1. The wireless adapter in the PC is defective
2. The Jetpack is defective
3. The wireless adapter on the PC cannot see the signal coming from the Jetpack (2.4 Ghz vs. 5.0 Ghz)
4. There are too many competing wireless signals and the PC cannot see the signal from the Jetpack
Solving 1 and 2 is a simple matter of trial and error. Confirm that the PC can see and connect to other networks. Confirm that the Jetpack can connect to other PCs. After that you need to check the specs on the Jetpack and the PC wireless card to make sure they are compatible. If they are but the Jetpack is still not visible then that usually means the air is too crowded with competing SSIDs/Network names. This is common in urban/apartment/dorm scenarios where multiple signals are exposed to a single machine. The solution is either to move to an area with less competition, convert to an Ethernet cable via a wireless bridging device, or migrate to 5.0 Ghz (this jetpack only works on 2.4 Ghz).

Just a Follow-up - the migration went fine. The migration did not import Little Snitch, Flip4Mac and DivX, stating they were incompatible. It also reported that Intego Back up Assistant has improper security setting (which I have not yet investigated).
I am encountering small problems. Safari would not open embedded pdf documents and instead showed a black screen. This was fixed with instructions found at http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/display-pdf-browser-acrobat-xi.html and it now works fine.
Importing 17 years of old mail from Eudora to Apple Mail was time consuming. mostly because of the pre-migration preening i did, but using Eudora file cleaner before the migrtaion helped a lot.
I amy find some more glitches, but so far everything seems to be working.

My Computer Does Not Recognize My Ipod!! Help!!

Alright its weird, today I plugged in my IPOD and it didn't recognize it as an IPOD, but instead as a removable drive (I could only access my calander and contacts). So naturally I reinstalled iTunes and that didn't do anything. Being the genius I am, I tried the updater and all I managed to do was restore (delete all the data on my IPOD). For some reason, after I did that though, I couldn't update it, because my computer didn't recognize it at all (lol, I managed to mess up my situation more.)
Alright so now as it sits, all I have is an IPOD that can turn on and display the apple logo. My Computer also does not recognize it at all. All it does is charge it

Windows XP re-installation does not recognize any hard drive - help

I have X60s Model: 17044JU
I have original XP installed.
My computer is very slow and I am trying to reinstall XP from my CD (and format HD so I clean everything).
When Windows installations blue screen shows up and loads drivers etc then it tells me that it does not recognize any hard drive.
I thought I may need SCSI or RAID drivers but since I don't have floppy I can not load them.
Any help how to install new XP would be appreciated.

I changed BIOS setup from AHCI to Compatibility and indeed it worked.
However there is easier way to reload new system on thinkpad.
I didn't know that but you can press ThinkVantage button when you start your laptop and IBM utilities start up.
Then there is an option to reload the system to be in original state as shipped from the factory. It loads or drivers and initial programs. It also formats your hard drive.
I found it pretty convenient.
