Help : FICO Certification

Hello Experts,
this is regarding FICO Certification Exam.
i am instructed that in case of multiple choice question, even if i tick all the answers, i will get FULL marks since i have ticked correct one's & there will be NO LOSS of marks since false answers do not carry any marks.
Is this TRUE. your help & guidance will be appreciated.

You can post Certification related questions in "SAP Certified Professionals"
In Associate exams, even if you mark partial correct answer, you will get the credit. Meaning that do not leave any answers, therefore, just guess even if you do not know the answer.
There is no Negative Marking.
Make sure you have selected all 100 percent questions.

I need advise from you people on fico certification.
I have two years of experience of sap and have cleared CFA lvl1 this year.
I plan to do FICO certification.
I want to do the "associate certification of ERP financial 2005", as seen on sap education.
My questions are:-
1) Is it relevant certification for fico ("associate certification of ERP financial 2005)
2) What all are the material should I read to prepare for this exam, I have seen TFIN 50 and 51.
Is it enough?
Should the study done only from these two or should I also read cost accounting, managerial accounting...
3) Any place where I can get these two materials. I could not find it on SAP education.
4) An advice on the time and level of preparation required.

Congrats on your CFA level1
If your experience in SAP has been with an SAP Customer / Partner, and that too for 2 or more years, then you need to ask for permission from them to take your certification directly.
This will help you to avoid the training at the SAP Partners for almost one month and will save your cost too.
But if your experience is not adequate or appropriate as per SAP Certification guidelines, then you will have to compulsorily go through the training course at any SAP partners like Siemens or Genovate or BPCL (in India) and then take the certification.
I suggest you call any of these and sort your query about the course.
Now for your main questions -
1) Is it relevant certification for fico ("associate certification of ERP financial 2005)
Firstly it is not FI-CO anymore. It is either only FI or only CO. And yes, this is relevant. You will have to do this certification for making career into SAP FI
2) What all are the material should I read to prepare for this exam, I have seen TFIN 50 and 51. Is it enough?

There is nothing like TFIN51. It is TFIN50 and TFIN52. These materials are more than sufficient and you need not do anything else for your certification. Please go through these atleast 3-4 times before your examination.

You will not find this material onlne at SAP education. It is against the guidelines to provide copyrighted material links here. You will get the material at the SAP Partners when you register for the course there
4) An advice on the time and level of preparation required.
As I mentioned, the course duration is 1 month. And apart from that you should read the TFIN50 and TFIN52 books atleast 3-4 times before certification. The exam is all about how strong your SAP basics are.

3. Pay fee
4. Write the Certification.
If you want training, there must be ATCs, SAP should be able to advise you the right ATC. Note, these courses are very expensive, not everybody is intend to go for full length training due to commercial reasons.

Need help regarding certification alternative to weblogic portal developnme

Hi All,
I was planning to give weblogic portal certification (1z0-110).
But I found that the 1z0-110 certification is retired.
Can anybody guide me to some other alternative.
I am a JAVA developer who is interested in doing some server certification. I am not going for admin certification because I think that will not help me as a JAVA developer.

How to prepare for SAP FICO Certification Exam.

Dear All,
Can any body would like to tell me on the above cited subject. I have some related querries as below:
1. Does the certification exam question refer the current SAP FICO Version?
2. How to prepare for the exam as I do not want to attend the classes but to appear for exam directly.
3. Is there the model question and answer paper available on sap site or internet.

a. Certifications are usually available for latest versions. contact sap education @sap.com for the same.
b. Am not sure if you could take the exam directly. you need attend academy @ siemens/genovate or work on a sap projects and let your company sponsor you.

Need help about certification in oracle 9i DBA track

Hello there everyone.
I don't know whether this topic I am posting is allowed or not, but I really need some help. I am doing my BSc computer science second year and I have just started studying SQL now. I always wanted to achieve oracle certified certificate. So I am planning to do Oracle 9i DBA track associate level and then professional level. I will be doing it from oracle certified institute.
But as I have just started SQL language now, so I don't have much experience in SQL. So what do you people suggest? Will it matter anyway to wait for some months or do now as I am gonna join that institute and they are gonna teach me all the topic.? Or should I wait for experience?
If anyone of you have given that exam then please say something about your experience. I will be really very helpful.

Absolutely! I started with 10g because that is the primary release in use at my employer; although we also have some 9i and some 11g in use. So it made sense for me to start with 10g. But if I was just getting started with Oracle, I would start with 11g. An 11g cert is still valuable to employers using 10g or 9i; in fact they may prefer it since they will not have to pay to upgrade your skills when they do upgrade Oracle.

Guidance for FICO certification

I have a B.Com graduate and I have limited training on SAP FI and CO modules at US. I do not have relavant work experience in using SAP. Can anyone provide me guidance on preparation for SAP cerfication.
Which certification should I take?
How many month of preparation is required?
Where to get the study materials for the certification. I am not able to find the suggested study material (TFIN50 and 52).

SAP Certified Solution Consultant Financials - Financial Accounting with SAP ERP 2005
It depends on individual to individual. But, in general you should have 5 weeks preparation, if you know the basics.
For material check with your if they have attended the formal training with SAP / Educational partners.

Points to note:
(1) To be a DBA IMHO you need more than the certification ... you need experience.
(2) There is possilby now in some regions a surplus of Oracle DBA Certified People.
(3) If you still want to continue, and your target needs to be 11g DBA OCP
(4) Consider WDP ( http://workforce.oracle.com ) if you can get local (cheap) training from them ..... but be aware he training from these may not always be of good quality ... so beware.
(5) Check the topic contents of the exams and see it is covering what you want.
If your target remains oracle DBA then 1z0-051 should probably be your first exam and PL/SQL is not required for that certification.
