Help file for the Plug and Play driver of Agilent Technologies E5071C

I just download the Plug and Play driver of Agilent Technologies E5071C from the below link:

I find that there is only some examples and not any help file with detail description for each input of those VIs. Although there is brief description for each VI when I press "Ctrl+H" on the VI,I still can't figure out how to use this driver. :-(
Is there any help files with more detail description?
Or any related examples for my reference? I hope to measure the S11 and S21 of the SMA cables

The driver implements the commands defined by agilent.
So look in the agilent programmers manual to find the meaning and how to handle the instrument.

Apple plug-and-play driver for AOC monitor

I just purchased a new 23" AOC monitor to "clamshell" with my macbook. I have purchased the appropriate cables to connect with my macbook to discover that the monitor software doesnt have a mac driver and the AOC website says to download a Mac Plug and Play driver to work with the monitor. The monitor turns on but mirrors my macbook and jumbles up my desktop. I am unable to locate one of these "drivers" with apple's help. Is anyone familiar with this issue that might be able to recommend a solution? I would hate to take my brand new monitor back.

I just got my new MacBook 15 the other day and today decided to set it up wiht my AOC E2251Swdn monitor. Black monitor screen. Grrrr. It worked fine with my old laptop (mid 2007). I got the mini dv adapter as I saw it didn't have the DVI port I'm used to seeing. However, the monitor when I got it only came with the old school VGA cord, not a DVI, thank goodness I finally had a use for the one that must have originally come with the previous laptop, and that worked just fine. Right now I have the VGA cable with the DVI apple adapter then plugged into the DVI to Thunderbolt adapter. Could this cord issue be why my monitor claims no signal no matter what I do?
Also, when I looked for drivers and click the link in the post above, it downloads a folder for drivers, however, I dont' know what to do with the files in that folder (2251w.cat, 2251w.icm and 2251w.INF). I have a hunch they are windows only.
If I need to get a strictly DVI cable I can do that, but would like to know if that's likely my problem before I buy it. The monitor is only about 2 months old give or take.

How do I set MacBook to an external display when the plug and play doesn't recognize it? I am trying to set my Samsung 530 LCD as a monitor but HDMI and VGA cords (and the adaptor for them) doesn't seem to work.

I have tried everything I can find on line but they all claim that the plug and play works, and they don't for me. I tried the mini dvi to HDMI and a HDMI cord and that was not recognized no matter which unit I rebooted first. I found someone who said that my Macbook might be too old for the HDMI technology so I returned the cords and went to the VGA cord and adaptor.
I tried this first with the HDMI setup:

I contacted Samsung support and they said I needed to set the display settings to external display on the mac. I went to the display settings and moved the icon to my status bar. When I click on search for displays or whatever it says (I'm not at my Mac right now) it does nothing.
What am I missing?

I am using MAC OSx 10.5.8 (9L31a) as my operation system. The TV says "No signal. Check connected device's power, cable connection and source selection." Seems to me that that goes in hand with what the Samsung tech said about the Mac needing to be forces to use the external display. But how do I do that?

The manufacturer is unknown because it is not a branded product, what confuses me is that my mac works with it. I plugged it to a desktop windows and it worked also. I looked for the driver it was using and found it in the windows system 32 folder. I then look if my windows on laptop have the same file/driver and yes it has. But still the problem is it cannot find the driver.

How to read an audio file from the disk and play it?

Do you know who to read an audio file from the hard disk and play it. It's for an application and not an applet. I tried with the Applet.newAudioClip(URL url) thing, but I keep getting a MalformedURLException.
And is there a way to get the path of the file you are using? Currently I'm doing this:

I'm sure there's a better way. And this is not for an applet, just a normal app.

Cannot drag or copy files on the desktop and hard drives

I cannot drag (and therefore copy or move to trash or other drives, folders) any of my files, folders, application, pics, etc. All my programs open fine, and if I have a file on the desktop or in hard drive (I have 2) I can double click on file and it will open fine, but I cannot grab hold of anything and drag it to trash or to another folder, drive etc.
I have run disk utility and repaired permissions, but no luck so far. Only thing I think I did different recently is downloaded dvd 4 updater and tried to install it - however, I only had dvd 2.1 which I had just updated from dvd 1
Also - nothing shows up in the recent items folder even after applications are opened and I cannot access finder controls to re-launch etc.

Help required for the list and set_block_property

i have 2 questions.
1. how to assign just the column names to the list. e.g. in sql we write a query "desc [table name]" so it shows the column name. so how can we assign the column names dynamically to the list values.
2. after assigning these values how to use set_block_property to select a select a specific column name and get the results using orderly clause.

While filling Setup tables:
1) Did you get the Shipment Cost Document ranges that are relevant to your data
    to be extracted?
2) Also give the start date something meaningful.
    Most important....make the end date as a date in the future. It means you need to give
    the correct Document number range to get relevant data.

How do i move and use media files on the internal, non-os drive?

This must be a very basic question, but i am new to macs and having apparently filled up the start up drive, i now need to learn how to fill up the internal (main drive) which has a lot more capacity.

The help files for iTunes, iPhoto, and iMovie describe how to move those libraries. You've not ID'd the machine, but I assume yours has an SSD and an HDD.

How do I tell the installer to put my html help files in the helpdir symbolic location?

I used the File>>Print function to create an HTML help file for my application and specified in the VI Properties for the app to use <helpdir>:\ApplicationHelp.HTML as the Help Path. This should pop up the help file when a user selects "Help for This VI" from my custom menu. It works from my development directory because I installed the help files into the help directory manually, but I can't figure out how the get the installer to put the files in the correct location on the target system. I tried putting them in [LabVIEW 2010 Help] in the Destination View for the Source Files category, but that didn't work. Anyone know the right way to do this?

Thank you for the reply! I had already done the steps you suggested, so let me put up some screen shots that should help you understand my issue better. First, I specified the path to the help information on the Documentation screen of the applications Properties:
Next I had added all the help files (DetectorFT.html and all the .png files) to the source in a virtual folder I named Resources.
Next, for the release build I specified the files to be Always Included on the Source Files header.
Next I created a Resource Directory as a destination for the release build.
Then I specified the Resource directory as the destination for the files for the Release build.
After creating the Release build, I created an Installer build and told it on the SOurce Files screen to put the help files into the [LabVIEW 2010 Help] directory.
I had assumed that putting the files in the [LabVIEW 2010 Help] destination would put them into the correct directory when the installer ran. When I ran the installer on the target system, the ran the application I tried to select the "Help for This VI" tab on the menu, but it was grayed out indicating it could not find the file in the proper location. So the question I have is, what IS the proper location for the files to be installed to so the the application will find the Help files when it is looking for them at the <helpdir> Symbolic Path location? I have CS5 Design Standard ( without extended Photoshop) and I need to get the PDF help files for the component applications. I have tried entering CS5 Help Files and variations of that theme in the search box here at Adobe forums and get many things about CS6 and no Help files for CS5. The search tool here should be googleized or something. 2many adds for new things 2 buy not enough help for what you already bought.

Failed to plug and play with my Yamaha PSR-500. What do I need?

I'm trying to connect my Yamaha PSR-500(A relative unknown keyboard even on the Yamaha site) and the plug and play function doesn't work. I did a internet investigation but al the things I found where useless...
-The keyboard is old.
-I use a MIDI-cable.
-iMac doesn't recognize the keyboard.
-Had the same problem with my ex-windows computer but then I found a good windows software...

I'm sorry but the Yamaha website distinctly says that the PSR500 has NO USB Connector.
It does have a midi interface in the form of IN and OUT jacks - 5-pin DIN type.
(These seem to be labeled the wrong way round. Either that, or my HOSA adaptor is labeled the wrong way round.)
The only other connectors (all on the back) are Power Adaptor, Pedal and Earphones.
NathanMac said that the Yamaha PSR500 is relative(ly) unknown, even on the Yamaha site.

I want to Encode a Quicktime file for the web and put it up on my .mac account web site - I have Sorenson Squeeze and Compressor 2....whats the best way and setting for this?

Really no simple answer. I'd go for one of the H.264 (Quicktime 7) formats. Experiment to suit. Compressor has a few options for this to suit different bandwidths.
Depends on who you want to be able to watch it, in which case a generic mpeg4 might be better or mpg1 for ensured compatibility.

Why not just connect the PC directly to the TC by ethernet and copy the files over?
It is hugely faster and much less mucking around.
In windows load the airport utility for windows.. if you have not already as this will help you access the drive.
