HELP! files stuck in conversion status

Can anyone help?
Files that we have attempted to convert to pdf. are locked
in conversion status. These are single page items that normally
take just minutes. Now they have been there for days. Why are they
stuck? How do we end the process and start again?

What types of files are they?
Is this happening with other files?
Have you narrowed it down to a specific file or files?

Well Christian,
There is one thing, eithere you can use fieldSeparator or fieldFixedLengths you can not use both together. So in your case do not use fieldSeparator.
The complete FCC is almost same as given in the blog in my previous reply. See the final output in that blog and create your data type accordingly. e.g.
Recordset
------Item 0...unbound
--------Field1 0..1
--------Field2 0..1
--------Field3 0..1
--------Field8 0..1

User Profile Service - User Profile Incremental Synchronization Timer job stuck at 33% Status: Pausing

User Profile Service - User Profile Incremental Synchronization Progress: 33% Status: Pausing
It has been almost 15 days.
Both User Profile Service and User Profile Synchronization Service are in Started state and FIM service also starting
I tried clearing sharePoint config cache.
I also restarted the sharepoint timer service.
I tried almost everything that is on Internet but nothing helped me.
Is there any other way to solve the issue as I was struck on production server (ASAP)
In synchronization serivce manager status of MOSS_DeltaImport is Inprogress from past 2 days

Or try to clear the file system cache on all servers in the server farm on which the Windows SharePoint Services Timer service is running. Microsoft has provided a step by step procedure on clearing file system cache from the SharePoint front-end servers

SQL Sync group stuck on processing status

Hi,
The sync group below has been stuck on processing since Jan 8, this sync group sync the hub DB with two Azure DB (all are on Azure), one of the Azure DB can sync normally but the other one stuck (keep in the processing status)

The Microsoft support engineer will help to solve the problem from backend. Sometime delay might be expected. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Thank you for understanding and support.
Any of the following can result in a sync group being stuck in the processing state.
a)The client agent is offline.
Be sure that the client agent is online then try again.
b)The client agent is uninstalled or missing.
If the client agent is uninstalled or otherwise missing:
1)Remove agent XML file from the SQL Data Sync (Preview) installation folder if the file exists.
2)Install the agent on same/another on-premise computer, submit the agent key from the portal generated for the agent that’s showing offline.
c)The SQL Data Sync (Preview) service is stopped.
1)In the Start menu, search on Services.
2)Click Services in the Programs section of the search results.
3)Find the SQL Data Sync (Preview) service.
4)If the service status is Stopped right-click the service name and select Start from the dropdown menu.

Webintelligenceprocessingserver stucks in "initializing" status

Hello everybody!
I have serious problem whith Web Intelligence Processing Server. Today after rebooting SAP BO server it stucked in "initializing" status.
I've tried recreating webi server, tried different setting for it (Cannot initialize report engine server). Nothing, every new server also can't starts.
Please help.
By the way, where can i find Web Intelligence Processing Server logs, if they exist?

I've solved this issue.
The problem was in extremly large amount of audit files in (Drive)\Install Directory\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 12.0\Auditing\.
After deleting all of these files and desabling audit for WebIntelligenceProcessingServer this service starts fine.
Some helpfull notes:
1919999 - Web Intelligence Processing Server stuck in Initializing status
1494758 - Web Intelligence Processing Server does not start , remains in Failed mode

With DB02 tcode, DB file in red color & status gives No free space

With DB02 transaction --> in File tab it is showing all Database files with red color and in the status message gives "No free space in file".

It helped me solve my issue, I increased the size of the files as recommended and their status in DB02 changed to green.

Unable to open help files in Pagemaker 7.0.1a in Windows 7

I see this question has been asked before, but the link to the solution no longer works. Page maker works fine in Windows 7 64 bit, but when I click on the help button, nothing happens. If the link on the previous solution can be updated or expounded upon, that would be great. Thanks for your time, Steve

Did Indesign fix the skew problem?
I scan lots of old books and then need to set the resulting tif files. They are never exactly right and have skew. In PageMaker I could fine tune the skew to the nearest .1 degree. In InDesign, only to the nearest degree. You will notice the difference. Lots of pages deskew at .3, .2, -.5 degree. Note these are all tenths. I ran into this problem, I did not see a solution, I dropped the trial version of InDesign.
PS as I'm stuck with PM7, I made the mistake of trying to move the help files from IE to Google Chrome, not remembering that Chrome will not open local files. I've wiped out the IE code that will run IE and now have no help files. (File: Preferences: Online) Moving to Firefox does not work for the same reason: It won't open local files because of security problems. PM7 is hardwired in such a way as to mis-present the local file, such that even if Firefox could open it, it won't. So we need the original magic code, as without it, PM7 cannot start IE, which means that IE cannot display html formatted help pages.

PPS: Contiunued fussing about, I found the PM help files, under Adobe/PM/RIS??/USEnglish/Help (I think) and then went to the main help.htm and double clicked. Came right up in >>Google Chrome<< which supposedly does not run local files. I then bookmarked it. So I can't get to the help from inside PM7, but I can hit the bookmarked file in Chrome. Chrome displays it better than IE.

I am sucessfully able to handle the file if i remove "**EOF*" from incoming file. But i get "lastfieldsOptional" error with "*EOF**"

but how to ignore the last row of the file.
Plz suggest some parameter to ignore the last row/field of the file.

Ansh,
.lastFieldsOptional is obselete and you cannot use. Please see sap help:

The best thing comes to my mind is use:
.keepIncompleteFields as YES
Also give a try with:
.missingLastfields as add
So with this I think your last line in the file will read into XI. But the value of last line is **EOF**. So the length is 9. Since your the first two fixed lengths are 6 and 8. You will have these values as ***EOF and ***. So while mapping you can use doesnot satrt with * and map it, so that your last line will be ignored.
Note: with this apporach you have to make sure your first two columns never start with *. If you have a doubt then you can use the condition doesnot equal to ***EOF for first field and doesnot equal to *** for the second field when you map. I hope it makes sense to you.

basically i m using file sender content conversion and couldn't make file in a proper nested structure where weight was the nested field of detail as there is a limitation of content conversion in file adapter:
My file came out like this:

PI RWB-Messages stuck in Delivering Status

PI 7.1
Scenario: Proxy to Mail (Outbound)
QOs: Exactly Once in Order
We are facing problem while sending messages to receiver.
Messages are stuck in Delivering status and the messages followed by them are going into holding status.
Messages in Delivering status has no audit logs.
Issue has started couple of months back. We took restart initially to rectify the barrier but it is happening again. This is repetitive issue and we are looking for permanent fix. Restart is not preferred resolution as it is a production system. Please suggest how can we overcome it? It would be a great help.

File sender content conversion

hello
I have a txt file sender content conversion in SAP PI.
I define in the content conversion 6 fields names(field1, field2, field3,field4,field5,field 6) but the fie that I am loading has only three field(field1,field2,field3). the file is still loading though there is a different in the structure between what I define in the PI to what is loading to the PI.
is there a way to send an error with out loading the file?
I read about the count function in the mapping. isnt there a build in function that suppose to load only the structure that is define?

If you define 6 fields and only 3 are present in the test file then you wont get an error (AFAIK)
However, if you define 3 fields and there are 6 present in the source file then you will get an error saying more number of parameters found.

I dont think so....this may however be achieved using a custom adapter module.
Update:
Just remembered that SAP PI (7.1 and above) comes with inbuilt XML-validation function....check if that helps in your design.

when i write in recordset structure: Header,1,Claim_Header,1,Job_Row,1,Part_Row,1,Remark,1,Footer,1
and put file with one record each, the file is pulled, but when i change recordset structure to:
Header,1,Claim_Header,1,Job_Row,* ,Part_Row,* ,Remark,*,Footer,1
the file is not pulled.
can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

Problems converting PDF to MS Word document. I successfully converted 4 files and now subsequent files generate a "conversion failure" error when attempting to convert the file. I have a large manuscript and I separated each chapter to assist with the conversion; like I said, first 4 parts no problem, then conversion failure. I attempted to convert the entire document and same result. I specifically purchased the export to Word feature. Please assist. I initially had to export the Word Perfect document into PDF and attempting to go from PDF to MS Word.

I'm sorry to hear your conversion process has stalled. It sounds as though the problem isn't specific to one file, as you've been unable to convert anything since the first four chapters converted successfully.
So, let's try this:
If you're converting via the ExportPDF website, please log out, clear the browser cache, and then log back in. If you're using Reader, please choose Help > Check for Updates to make sure that you have the most current version installed.
