Help find my motherboard model!

I own (kinda history) a dv 2112 tu! It's dead now - motherboard problem. Can any1 tell me wt the motherboard model is? I mean, its dead and I can't find the motherboard that used to be on the 2112 tu. Pls, reply quick and honestly. Preferred answers from those who own it!!!!!

I don't own one, but if you remove both RAM sticks, the model number of the mother board is underneath them ending in -001. The model number can be Googled or you can enter it in the ebay search box in your country.
If you lost the mother board then there are a few of them listed in the service manual on page 5-70.
 http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01035657.pdf
Unfortunately your product specs are not listed so I can't tell you if you were running an Intel or AMD processor.
Here are a couple of examples from ebay US.

 These people ship world wide.

I thought I would post what I have as you may never get a response from a dv2112 tu owner.

  • How to find exact motherboard model for Satellite P100-347?

    Hello,
I am hoping someone could help me. I am looking for a new motherboard for my toshiba laptop as it needs replaced.
I own a pspa6e-03302cen Satellite P100-347 laptop and have not been able to find this board online anywhere. Although I have found two suppliers of many p100 motherboards they use alternate model numbers in which I cannot find anywhere in my documentation or on the actual computer. The model numbers they use are something like A000008350 or a number starting with k. I am pretty sure the supplier i have found has the motherboard i would need but i would need a list of all the alternate part numbers for my laptop or someway of finding the exact numbers. Any help on this matter is appreciated..
    Thanks

To be honest I really do not believe someone here can offer you such info. As you know this info is for internal use and you can try to get this info from authorized service provider in your country. Sorry but I do not see better solution, except to wait here and hope someone can help.
    Good luck!

    Hi,
The Motherboard part number starts with 11......
If you download the Hardware Maintenance Manual from the Lenovo Support site, all the part numbers are there, as well as removal instructions.
    Good luck!

Help me! URGENT cannot find my printer model on hp website - how do i know which cartridge to order.

Depend on which country you are in btw, for the US this should be 61 black and 61 tricolor. For most of europe this will be 301 black and 301 tri color. So to be sure tell me from which country you are.

  • Find Motherboard Model?

Basically I recently moved from Windows to Mac after I bought my first iMac and I was wondering if it is possible to check your motherboard model or whatever it's called in Mac via a program.

The logic boards in macs are tied to the model. If you key in your iMac serial number here, it will tell you quite a bit about your system. You can get your system serial number by clicking on the apple on the left of the menu bar, and about this mac. Where it says version, click on that twice to get the serial number.

  • Can I find out the model number of my screen without taking it apart?

    Hi!
My "17 Macbook Pro creen needs replacing, and I have no interest in spending upwards of $250.
I would like to find a suitable replacement online, but I need to know the model number first for purposes of compatibility.
I have been told that I would have to take apart my screen,in order to find out the model.
I was wondering if there was any possibility of finding out the model number without having to take my screen apart.
I have been calling apple service centers, but they have been no help.
They tell me that they need to diagnose it for themselves.
Why should it be this difficult?
I should be able to just call somebody, have them look up the serial number, and tell me the number of my model.

All they should need is the Model Number of your Mac.
Here is a good Place to look.

  • Why can't Apple find a motherboard?

I'm curious (and furious). I have a 9-month old 20" iMac. Up until recently it's been a great machine. Great display, very fast. I use it for work mostly and it took me a while (like until recently) to get it set up the way I want. About two weeks (it'll be 2 weeks this Monday, the 24th) ago, the machine died. I thought it was the power supply, since it wouldn't start, no light, nothing. Called Apple Care and took it to my local Apple dealer (not an Apple store, but an authorized Apple dealer that's been around for about 15 years). The machine is under warranty of course. It took them three days to diagnose the problem. Turns out it was the motherboard not the power supply. After a week, no iMac. Way too long for a critical piece of hardware (I use it for business) to be in the shop.
I stopped by on Monday to see what was up and the technician told me that he had placed the order on Friday through Apple's distribution system and got a message indicating the motherboard was backordered until OCTOBER 22 at the earliest? On a new machine? A popular new machine?
At that point, I went over to the official Apple store in SoHo (I'm in Manhattan) to find out what was up. Was told I've got to wait 2 weeks before it officially becomes a "problem" and can be escalated or investigated.
Has this happened to anyone else? I cannot imagine this lack of service from any other major computer dealer. If Apple can't find a motherboard, they should (should have already) put my hard drive into another iMac of the same model and specs or provided a machine for my use while they fiddle with finding a motherboard. Come Monday, I'm going to see what Apple Care has to say, but frankly, after 10 years of Mac use, I'm more than a little upset. And, yes, I realize that computers are machines and sometimes they break. That's not why I'm angry. My gripe is the lack of service and promptness. I remember the days when Apple offered -- and provided -- on-site repairs. I know, because a tech came to my apartment to replace a broken drive in my old 8500. The machine was up and running in less than an hour. Now, that's service. Or was.

Service varies for various reason. I have an first edition 20" iMac, the one with all the capacitor problems. I had it about 18 months and it would only boot on the external drive. Took it to an Apple store and they replaced the logic board, hard drive, cd drive, lcd display, etc. The bill paid under warranty was over $2000! It was repaired in two days! About a year later the power supply went out when I was at my other home so I had to drive 70 miles to an Apple store and they replaced in 3 hours, covered under Apple care, and then I drove back.
I just want others to know how great Apple service can be! I have yet to be disappointed in Apple products and service since owning them from 1988.
If one lives any where near an Apple store TAKE IT THERE!

  • Find out USA Model number of Satellite A80-127

    Hello,
I have a Toshiba SA80 127 . Is there any way i can find out the model number of the US version of this Laptop ? since i probably need some repairs/replacements on parts (cooling fan/ LCD).
    Any suggestions will be helpful.
    Thanks
    karthik

    I agree with Homer
Contact the ASP in your country and ask the guys for the compatible fan or cooling module
In my knowledge there is no big difference between an European models and the US notebook series.
I assume both notebooks like Satellite A80-127 (EU) and A80-S178TD (US) would use the same cooling modules.
But this is only my personal opinion and you should definitely ask the ASP to ensure that the parts are the same.

  • Need help finding a driver for my hp webcam . My computer say I dont have a camera but I do.

Need help finding my camera[webcam] on my computor.

Can you provide us with your computer model number?  Take a look in Device Manager to see if there is an Imaging Devices group that includes the webcam.  If not, is there an Unknown Device listed?  This would indicate that your webcam is detected, but there is no driver installed.  We can help you find the correct driver if that is the case.  Let's start with the computer model number.  Thanks.

  • Need help finding overclocking settings in BIOS on my Z97 Gaming 7

    Hello Folks!
As the title states I need some help finding some settings in the BIOS to help in overclocking on my awesome new MSI Z97 Gaming 7 mobo! For instance I can't find anything related to Load Line Calibration, LLC. I am unable to find additional settings for PLL and what the settings that are there do, for instance CPU PLL, the options are something like LL and SB? There is no explanation for what either of these are. These may be pretty basic things in overclocking Intel. I should also mention that I am new to Intel processors and their mobo's. I have always used AMD cpu's and overclocking seemed a bit more straight forward. This is also the first MSI motherboard I have owned so I am also new to these. I have been a great fan of MSI GPU's for years and finally had the chance to buy a motherboard and while it has been a great experience thus far I seem to be slighty behind the learning curve here. I do appreciate all the help I am able to get. I have read the guides that I have seen others pointed towards and have not really found the information I am looking for there.

Nichrome, thank you for the heads up concerning placing my rig info into my signature, I will do that immediately. Thanks for trying to help. I really do appreciate it. I am very familiar with overclocking on the AMD platform. I have previously owned and abused the PhenomII 965BE, 1055T FX-8320 and FX-8350. I guess switching from AMD to Intel and being confronted by so many new terms and settings in the BIOS I was kind of lost. I wasn't really too concerned with the PLL per say other than just desiring to know as much about my new system and motherboard as possible. I have always been a firm believer that to get the most out of your equipment you need to know it intimately, I guess I will get there with a bit of time and perseverance! I was really mainly trying to figure out where the LLC settings would be hidden or what they would be known as with an Intel based system, this setting is usually quite important when trying to stabilize higher overclocks. I am currently running and tinkering with an OC speed of 4.7-4.8GHz @ 1.275v with temps staying ~55C. I was hoping to push a little further and was trying to give myself the best possible advantage in doing so. Again, thanks for the help and information!!!

  • Help on MVC programming model

    Hey,
I've searched the web over and over on MVC models, and so far what I can find on MVC models is abstract texts without hands-on examples.
Some do have examples, but they are scattered, and I get confused.
I've looked over MVC on Java site, and kinda got the picture, yet also got overwhelmed by all the info.
Is MVC something the programmer has to do, or is it more or less automated by an IDE ? As I understand so far MVC is a product of conscious programming, and there are no automated tools.., yet some websites sound that there are tools that help you build in MVC.
Is there a hands-on tutorial or a simple example on what MVC actually is ?
    thanks !
