HELP! - Finding Specific Emails and Color options??

Hi..
Is there a way to group emails from a specific soure or with a specific heading etc (eudora does this for example by highlighting one and hitting option/command together-which then groups all emails in your box with the same source, title etc.)..and pull then all together in your in boxes..?
also is it possible to change the background color ( like Eudora) in Mail to something other than white? if so , how??...
and are their any other (other than fonts) way to improve the "look" of Mail?

P.S. and other tricks and insights to get me away from EUDORA (which I love ) woudl be appreciated...

Finder Window Sizes and View Options

In an earlier message under Mac OS X Panther it was recommended that I post a new message in the AppleScript forum.
I'm looking for a way to automate the repetitive task of resizing Finder windows and resetting view options. For example resetting a hundred folders to the same window size and screen position with the same view options. This requires manually adjusting each window one by one.
A solution could be an AppleScript that would automate this task.

I mistakenly deleted all the preference files for the Finder window options on my 17 inch PowerBook (.DS_Store Files).
This has returned all Finder windows to default settings for window sizes and view options.
I use custom widow sizes for all my folders that nicely fit the 17 inch screen on my PowerBook, leaving enough desktop space on the right for the hard drive icons and the Dock that I always keep vertical on the right.
I have a 12 inch PowerBook as well. And it has it's own custom window size that fits it's much smaller screen. It has always been a complaint of mine to have to manually reset windows whenever I needed to transfer folders with Bluetooth file exchange.
Resetting Finder window sizes and view option has always been a time consuming problem. Now to have to do it over again for hundreds of windows is a huge task that is way to manual.
The Finder is customizable. There must be a way to set the options for one window and be able to use those adjustments for other windows without having to re adjust each setting manually.
There was an application called Finder Window Manager. Maybe someone knows of another application that can do this of task or another way around this issue.

Help in Incoming email and there service ticket id

I need a help. We raise a service ticket for every email that we receive. I want a list of all those service tickets, email unique reference number, along with the sender email id (And not the BP standard email id). I am unable to find it. Tried SOIN, SOST, SOOD, but of not much use.

Even though you clearly mention "I want a list of all those service tickets", I think you really mean that you want the list of sent emails. Is this correct?
If so, I would say SOST is really the plce for it.
Now if you really want the list of service tickets, then you need to share what triggers those emails and how the tickets are created from them.

Lost paper and color option after Os X installation

Hello,
in order to work with "the Gimp" I have installed X11 application yesterday on my iMac, not the best think I have done but... Os X reinstalled box version of my iMac 20" and then upgraded automatically to X.4.11, with all security, java, quicktime upgrades.
This morning I wanted to print with my Photosmart 8050 but no printing drivers where found. so I reinstalled it, once with printer connected with USB the other without.
Conclusion, same issue, I have in my printing menu, no way to change aper settings nor color setting, it look like a standard windows. Moreover, there is a strikedthrough item called "HP Photosmart PDE", when I click on it it says "this application is not compatible with your computer, ask your printer vendor to give you a good version." and it prints bellow "3.1" twice.
I have read in main post that 3.3 version of driver is included in Mac Os 10.4, so whats going up? Why my system was not able to find the printer from scratch after refresh this morning, why isn't there any better version than 3.1 in HP's web site? When I ask for an update in HP, it says there is not update for my system.
I trashed pref, restarted several time, refresh printing spool, reinstalled several time, but still nothing help in choosing paper or color like before.
I can still print without any control of previous item, .... but this is not the best of work. fortunately it is a home desktop... and I am not printing everyday, but...it is new year's time, and I have to print the card....
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for our answer, I have looked through the forum and haven't found any answer, unfortunately. I installed driver with both unconnected and off printer.
What bothers me a little is that I have a hard time to understand where this driver is sitting on my hard drive, to check what driver version exists.

when I install it from HP it says 3.1...

Script to find specific font and copy to a new document

I am working on a scripting solution to help break out files for production. What I need to do is search through a PSD, find any text objects that are in a specific font, and if they match, copy them to a new document. Can anyone help me with this? I've been able to make parts work, but I am very green, and could use a little bit of direction.

Yeah so far I've been having trouble checking the layers, identifying the fonts, and the creating the new text object on a new file So pretty much the whole thing is broken at the moment. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated. I'm just now really starting to learn javascript just to be able to automate photoshop.

How to find the size and resolution option in the aspect ratio drop down menu for the crop tool

while looking through certain tutorials on the new crop system i came across many that referenced the above mentioned size and resolution option in the access ratio drop down menu. They all mention a dialog box which then appears which looks really useful, however my version doesnt have this option. any help would be appreciated.

Yes, definitely already differences. I sympathize with Photoshop instructors (online and offline).
The headline change was Retina support but that was also made available to non-Cloud versions.

Where do I find the Package and Deployment options in CF Admin 8 and 9?

I've recently talked to a person at Adobe and found documentation on migrating using the Package and Deployment option to create CAR files. I just can't seem to find the menu options in my CF8 or CF9 Admin. I am running CF standard. I do have around 40+ datasources and a couple of dozen scheduled tasks that I need to move.
I just need someone to point out to me how to get to the Package and Depoymeny section.

Standard doesn't have this feature. You need to be running Enterprise or Developer (see http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/editions/).
You can revert to developer temporarily by removing your licence key, do the archive, put the key back in again ;-)

Need Help; Must accept email and create item in custom list

Hello Forum,
We have a Sharepoint 2010 site that has been using Microsoft's ticketing system for years. What I need to confirm is if there is a way to email the sharepoint list and have it create a ticket (parsing the from address, subject and body then creating a ticket
from that and sending a confirmation email reply to the user).
I understand there may be some coding needed, but don't know where to start without having to start over and lose our years of lists / data. Can someone please help provide information or at the very least a starting point for me?

label, which was easy. The problem is that I also have to display the number of players who are 12, 13, and 14 years old and I have no idea how to do that.

I think I should use a For..Next loop but I don't know how to identify and match using this database, and then count how many repeated 12, 13, 14 years old there are.

Conceptually speaking you would group the data and count. Beings this is school work the demo below is a static example and not suitable for your assignment, its to show a point. Now if you have learned about LINQ and Lambda this logic can apply to your
question but need to work out using this your data which can be done. If not look at using SQL Grouping.

Need help finding external mixer and a/d audio interface

i just got my logic studio up and running. but i need an external 4-12 channel mixer to records my synths in. right now i have 2 external audio devices (Korg Electribe Emx1 and MicroKorg).
What is recommended? I want a goos sount but not too expensive.
Im looking for a small mixer, and an A/D device (like an Apogee Duet).

Why can't I find "Data Transfer and Memory " option in channel property node?

I'm trying to find some properties such as "Data Transfer and Memory " in my "DAQmx Channel" property node, as below
But, in my Labview 8.5, I can't find it. I re-installed NI-DAQmx, but it didn't work. What I can get is

Thank you for your reply. But I tried this on another computer on which lv 8.6 was installed, and it worked. I just simply dropped the channel property node, and didn't connect with any channel vi, and there were available options on that one. But for this pc, it doesn't work. I also configured the hardware in Mea & AE, it didn't help.
btw, my labview is full licenced.

When I conect any ipod ,the itunes show an error msg-The syncServer found a problem and must be closed.After that another-Mobile device helper find a problem and must be closed -and this repeat more 2 times each are related with corefoundation.dll.

Six error msg about apple aplications that must be closed just when I connect my ipod to computers USB.SyncServer aplication and Mobile device helper is closed.The error relat.show :

These happens in both kind of messages that was showing three times each.After this ,Itunes can sinc music videos,photos,but I canot upgrade my ipod!
Detail:copy photo files from ipod to computer works normal.I use panda antivirus but without it in the computer,the problem persists.Yesterday I get the last ITunes,but the problem persists.I unistall anything about apple ,install the new Itunes and the problem remains.
And this problem occurs only after I connect ANY ipod to the computer,open Itunes for hear music,for example,still works OK.

I have been battling against the same issue for over 2 weeks now. After tracing what was happening on the machine to find that the crashes we're happening slightly after Apple's program we're identifying the Time Zone of the computer, I had the idea of checking the date/time properties of my Windows XP machine.
I unchecked the box to update the time from a time server (Internet time) and it's seem that this was what was causing itunes and its descendant to crash.
Now it seems it turned back to normal operation.
Please let me know if this fixes it for you as well.
