Help- Flex Start Page doesn't open the Start Page
Help -> Flex Start Page doesn't open the Start Page.
I see multiple bug entries regarding this resolved, but no description of what I can do to fix it.
I'm running Flex Builder Professional on Windows XP
I've heard this can be caused in IE when the pop-up blocker is enabled. Disable it so pop-ups are allowed, and the Flex Start Page may load.

Try this ...
Open a Finder window then from the menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Click Go.
If you see the: AdobePDFViewer plugin (or anything Adobe related) in the Internet Plug-Ins folder, move it to the trash.
Restart your Mac and try opening a PDF file. -
I have made a file using the Pages app.I mailed it to a friend.When she tried opening the same file on her pc at home , It did not open.Please help me as to how to open the file in the Microsoft word format on her pc.

Running 10.4.11 and trying to restore OS9 as well as iLife etc. I tried to install iLifer from the original disc and the computer doesn't open the install program with the .mpkg file extension. Can you help?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

I can't use Yahoo messenger (it doesn't open the dialogue window), but in other PCs with older versions of Firefox I don't have problems
As stated earlier even though when I have an incoming message I hear the "Beep" Firefox does not open the dialogue window as it used to do.

When you double click on psd new instance of Photoshop opens but it doesn't open the file
Just updated to new version of Photoshop and when I double click on a psd, a new instance of Photoshop opens but it doesn't open the file.
Any way to fix this?If I use open from Photoshop it opens the file. If I drag and drop into photoshop(and there is nothing open in photoshop) is opens.

IBooks doesn't open the books only the descriptions
ibooks in ipad doesn't open the books. It opens only the book descriptions
The lack of details in your post makes it really tough to figure out what you are talking about. What do you mean by iBooks doesn't open the books? You do realize that you have to actually buy the book to read it. When you tap on a book in the iBooks store, it does open to a description of the book. That is how it is supposed to work.

Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

I'm in syria and they blocked me from using any VPN service please help without VPN i can't open the store help please ( using iphone 5 version 9.1.4 )
There is nothing that anyone here on a user forum can do to help you. If it is a local issue in Syria, then you need to take it up with your phone company or authorities there who have prevented you from using VPN.
