Help for finger print sensor

hello,
in my hp dv4 1502tu, finger print sensor is not working after formating my system. i have searched a lot in internet,but i cant able to find out the software of the particular sensor.
so please help me out to shortout this problem.

Hello ... I've recently bought HP Probook 4540s and everything works fine except the finger print sensor My labtop has windows 8 installed and all drivers and devices are workig fine but the finger print sensor is not appearing in the windows device manager or in the hp protect tools neither.. At the beginning i thought it's a hardware problem untill the operating system detected the finger print sensor while i'm logging on this happened just once and i dont know how to get the sensor work again I've installed the latest validity finger print driver and hp protect tools and hp security manager everything from hp drivers site but nothing helps What do you think i miss here ??

I see that you are having problems with the finger print reader on your HP computer.
I would suggest posting this message in the HP Commercial Forum as well. There will be more users with the same computer and programs. The link will take you to the board specific for your computer.

Is it possible to turn off the finger print sensor?

Right now I am not sure if I buy the new iphone 5s.
The finger print sensor make me worry!
Is it possible to switch it completely off?
Maybe like SIRI - during installation you can say, I don't want to use it!

Hp finger print sensor

Hp envy 15 j039tx notebook Pc
I have recently refreshed OS i.e windows 8.1, now i am running windows 8.0
The problem is that
1-Finger print sensor is not working, niether detecting the fingre, niether the led is blinking.
2-The hp simple pass is not offereing to register the fingre prints.
Troubleshooting steps performed:
a- unistalled and downloaded and intalled simple pass and validity fingerprint driver.
b-upgraded bios version.

I understand you're unable to use your fingerprint scanner after refreshing your notebook.
Can you tell me which version of SimplePass you currently have installed? To do this you can click the Help icon and then click on About. The version should be listed below the HP SimplePass logo in the About window.
Try going through both of these documents for help with fingerprint readers in Windows 8:
Using HP SimplePass Fingerprint Reader (Windows 8)
Troubleshooting a Fingerprint Reader (Windows 8)
Let me know which version you have, and if either of those documents resolved the issue.

How to use FInger Printer Sensor with HP Probook 440 G2

I have HP ProBook 440 G2 I am unable to set finger print sensor as the login to my device.

You need to install the HP client security Manager in order to configure and use the Fingerprint reader. i have hp probook 4535s, Using windows 7 home premium (but i changed from original windows home basic...) the finger print sensor is not working and i can`t connect to wireless internet. i have installed the driver but nothing.
Can anyone provided me with a link to intall this driver or to fix my problem?

Tecra M5: finger print sensor is not working properly since a drink was spilt into the keyboard

My finger print sensor is not working properly since a drink was spilt into the keyboard. When booting up, it automatically "fails" 5 times in a row (without any attempts to swipe a finger), then defaults to password entry to boot the machine's hard drive.
This is not a problem and all i want to do is disable the finger print sensor, but cannot work out how to do this. I've tried uninstalling the driver, which I seemed to do without any problems, but when rebooting, the sensor still seems active, and still goes through the same process.
Everything else works fine and this is just a minor niggle, but I'd like to remove the annoyance of it beeping at me 5 times while it does its thing!
Can anyone tell me how I completely disable it?

Have you removed the fingerprint software? If yes check if in device manager is listed some unknown device. Please post the result.
Maybe you can try to disable this unknown device and it will not be recognized as new hardware every time when you start the notebook.

Finger print sensor and SimplePass Software is not working

I have a HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx and the finger print sensor and SimplePass Software is not working. I am unable to find the relevant drivers/etc from the HP website. Any advise would be appreciated. The device was purchased in the USA.

Vista Drivers for Finger Print Reader on a Portege R200????

I have a R200 model, which originally came with Windows XP, now have Windows Vista Business Edition Installed & having problems getting the Finger Print Reader to work. I have tried plenty of programs which Windows says have installed properly, but they all state that the reader is not conected??
I have tried so many times to get it to work, and looked at the manufactures web-site for Drivers or Software, but nothing.
Seems very strange for a Toshiba Laptop not to work fully, even when it states on the OS sticker Windows Vista Capable ???

Need help for Lightroom Print&Web Templates

Hi,
I have just downloaded/installed my official Lightroom version (Mac OSX 10.4) and I have realized that there is no Print nor Web Templates accessible in the Template Browser section. I think I have done a mistake since I have erased completely the files from the beta4 version (including obviously the libraires containing those templates) before installing the official Lightroom V1.
Can anybody tell me where/how to get those original Adobe Templates files again. I have tried to re-install several times the V1 version but it does not help. Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

They were in User/Libray/Adobe Lightroom, no at User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom

Hi! The reason you are having problems is because your printer is unsupported in Snow Leopard. Drivers are not included with Snow Leopard for your model and Canon has not provided any support for 10.6 Snow Leopard. For a list of supported 10.6 printers look HERE. Tom

Hi, I want to install Konica bizhub 7228 network copier in Mac v10.6.2. I have some trouble please advise the mathod of installation.

I am working with Oracle version 7.3 but during the production the users stopped printing and I find this error:
1. ORA - 21636
2. Unable to open the printer description file
3. Check the desformat parameter
But when i check my skill I have no information about this error.
In the unix I find at same time : erro 45 from lock call on file pstatus.

I have bought Lenovo 3000 N200 model. THe Care button and finger print reader not working. I have loaded the hot key driver as well as finger print reader driver. I have XP OS on my notebook. The software for finger print reader for XP (64 bit) which is there in the lenovo site is not getting loaded.
