Help for itunes
Hello, I want telecharge Itune 11, for IOS 7 and my computer is 10.5 please help me
You NEED to update to 10.6.8
You can get 10.6 from Apple: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
and then run the combo updater to update it to 10.6.8

Windows Media Player is ******* me off...Need help for iTunes
Ok, so recently my computer went haywire on me, and I had to start from scratch by basically wiping the HD and now installing Windows Vista (I used to have XP). I did back up all my songs on my external before hand.
So now that everything SHOULD be up and running, I transferred all my songs back to my C:\.
Yet...now when I go to "play all" (in order for iTunes to reference them), it says "Play All with Windows Media Player" and WMP thinks it has the rights to all the song files. I use iTunes for everything and I can't find the option part on either software to make iTunes the primary again.
I used to be an IT major...
Now I think that's in the past...lol.
I need help. Who knows how to fix it?
(Oh, and if you know a way to get them all to register instead of me going by artist by cd to play, that'd be appreciated too! :D)This article tells you how to set itunes as the default media player in Vista.

To get them all in your itunes library, drag the top-level music folder over from Win Explorer to the itunes window. You don't need to add things one-by-one!
Alterantivly, you can use itunes menu > File > Add folder to library and do the same thing. -
Why do I have to pay to get help for Itunes?
First off, why do I have to pay to get help?
That is absolutely ridiculous when it is someone's JOB to be a "support" for this.
I've had a reoccuring problem of my music not playing on my IPhone. I fixed it the first time by taking off all the music then re-syncing it and it was all good. This time I am trying to take all of the music off so I can try to do the same thing as before because this is happening yet AGAIN and now my ITunes isn't taking the music off and it is re-syncing it back and it isn't taking the music off in the first place. Why is it doing this? Well I'm basically venting to a community while getting no help from experts. You're getting no help because you're just venting, and most people here just ignore rants. You haven't posted sufficient details about your issue for anyone to offer much in the way of assistance.
Posting the same complaint twice does little good, by the way.

Need Help for Itunes and quicktime

I just formated my computer and my os is windows 2003 server. When I installed itunes, everything is fine however when I installed quicktime I got an error code : -3. What's going on? and after I done with the installation, I couldn't open an itunes as well I got an error message said : The exception Privileged instruction. (0xc0000096) occurred in the application at location 0x7ca2af84. I don't know what happened I did install itunes and quick time under windows 2003 before and it works fine, but now I got an error. I appreciate the answer, Thanks in advance.by any chance, did you try downloading the QT Player
from the "QuickTime 7.1 with iTunes 6 for Windows
2000/XP" link on the QT download page? that one
actually leads to an itunes/QT installer bundle.
I did it this way
let's try a careful standalone QT 7.1 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone
installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install
from there rather than online.) switch off
antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the
install.

I did like you said and I can not even uninstall quicktime from my computer. When I double click the installation package: It shows
Unhandled Exception
Error Number : 0x80040707
Description : DLL function call crashed : QTInstallCode.QuickTimeUninstallProc
Setup will now terminate
Also, itunes does not launch properly. I think there is something wrong because when I install the windows from the cd I can install and run these two programs(itunes and quicktime). They work fine and no problem at all. However, after I update windows by using windows update web site, I couldn't use these programs since then. I have no idea what is going on? Before I reinstall my os, I also use windows server 2003 with sp1 and I could run these two programs. I think may be the new version of itunes and quicktime that they put on the web site have some issues with the windows server 2003, not sure about that.

Ok,well i just got a new computer and i had backed up all my songs from my old computer to a cd.
My old computer was an Emachine. When i tried to back up the songs to my computer it would not work,so I used my ipod to put my songs into itunes.After authorizing it,I did not get all my songs into the MUSIC folder
So my question is-
How do i get ALL my songs to the playlist?The ones that are burned from my cds
and
How do i recreate all my playlists i had?
I thought that i would get them back and i am not sure how to do it

my icloud account on my new iphone does not match the user ID for itunes as it is an old apple ID. There is no password for this ID so I cant change it and it wont let me change the apple ID. Any help?
To change to iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID then sign in with the new ID. If you don't know the password for the old ID, and if the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Hi i recently changed mi apple id for my Mac, ipad and iphone With great difficulty i managed to change my Ipad\Iphone id for itunes and icloud
But on my mac, itunes is ok but icloud is blocked on to my old Apple id I thought it would would automatically sync when ichanged the id in itunes
Obviously not Can somebody pleas help ThanksYou need to go to System Preferences (this may be called Settings in Mountain LIon)>iCloud and sign out. Then sign in with the new ID.

I have paid for itunes match and have now lost all my music off my iphone except what I paid for from itunes, 964 songs gone into the cloud. Can anyone help please?
Enabling iTunes Match does not delete music from your computer. Why do you think it is now not in the iTunes library if it was before? If all of your music was in the iTunes library then it is also now in the cloud if iTunes has completed it's scan and all the music meets the match requirements. Enable the iCloud Status column in the iTunes browser by switching to Song view and pulling down View > View Options. Select iCloud Status then close the small window. Sort on the new column. Your music should be listed as "purchased," "matched" and "uploaded." Some tracks may be "ineligible." Post back and let us know.

We have several apple devices in our family who use my debit card for itune charges. I need to find out which device (itune account) these charges are coming from. Can you help?
You can't tell which device a purhcase was made on, but if your family members each have their own iTunes account to which your card is linked then you can check the purchase history on each of those accounts via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes - that should have 'purchase history' section with a 'see all' link to the right of it

I just got my first iPhone. I really like it but it will not accept my apple ID. It keeps telling me the password or id is wrong. I know it is write due to I use it for iTunes and it works find there. Can anyone help me or do I need to call tech support?
ThanksEnded up calling apple and got this fixed. Had to change id since it was made years ago with the old style of IDs.

Apparently you can have 5 computers registered for iTunes. I have 3 active computers but I guess I have other computers that are still activated that I no longer use and I no longer have as they crashed. Is there a way to delete or see what the other computers are so that I can go in and delete them? I've tried to email Apple directly but apparently I need my hardware # and obviously I do not have that # since I don't have the equipment any longer. Any help is greatly appreicated. I am trying to add another computer and it won't allow me to as they say I'm at my limit. Please help!

Just open up iTunes on your computer -> Go to the iTunes Store -> Click your e- maill address (top right corner of the window) -> Type in your password for your Apple ID -> Under Computer Authorisations (underneath your Apple ID account balance and address) -> Press 'Deauthorise All'
-> This will deauthorise all computers and devices from your iTunes account -> you then need to re- authorise any computers/ devices you would like to use with your Apple ID for iTunes content -> to do this, select the Store tab along the menu at the top (where 'File', 'Edit', 'View' etc..... are) -> Then click 'Authorise this Computer' -> Type in your Apple ID -> Voila!
For any iOS devices (non- computers) you wish to re- authorise, these will automatically do so when you go to play iTunes content, download an app or anything like that on those devices!
