Help for Nokia 7610 Supernova White themes

Hello!
First of all, i hope you understand, and i ask you my apologize about my english.
I have a nokia 7610 Supernova White, and i've made some downloads of some themes to change.
However, when i change the theme, the stand-by mode, when i want to see the time when the keyboard its locked, i press the red phone and i can see the time. Until here it's ok, but, the theme behind the clock it's always the Orbit theme.
Only when i change to a theme whith copyright of nokia, the theme behind the clock its the same of all screens... Once i've had a black screen, but i dont know what should i change to get it back.....
I hope you can help to change that thing, and of course, i hope you understand my dougbt....

Problem with Nokia 7610 supernova

Hi
I bought my Nokia 7610 supernova recently. I am in China. It has the same problem- restoration of original settings- & that too in Chinese. So as per the solution given on one of the forums I downloaded Nokia PC suite & then I tried to update the software. Everything went well till I started the software update. It said fatal error because minimum memory required is 256 MB.And so update cannot take place. I tried to do it again but got the same result. I have at least 350 MB of free space in my phone at the moment. Can u help me with this? I have no idea how to solve this.

and it ll not support any thems show the error 'not enough memory'

Issues nokia 7610 supernova sort text messages

Dear All,
I own a Nokia 7610 supernova ( product code # 0564323 ) and I'm experiencing a weird behavior after restoring its content backup.
I did a full phone backup through Nokia PC Suite 7.1.26.0 before installing the latest firmware available for my mobile - Version 05.20 .
After updating my mobile to firmware version 05.20 then I did a full restore through Nokia PC Suite.
It seems that all my text messages are stored on the mobile; however it appears now sorted by sender.
I mean, all the text messages appear on the mobile sorted by sender instead of arrival date/time.
Therefore, before the upgrade and full restore all my text messages was sorted by date.
Please, Is it possible to change the text messaging sorting criteria?How can I sort my text messages by date again?
What can be this problem root cause?

Unfortunately, there is no such option =/
I´ve tried on those menus:
Messaging -> Inbox -> Options (out side In Box folder)
Messaging -> Inbox -> Options (within In Box folder, on the messages list)
Messaging -> Message Settings ->General Settings
Messaging -> Message Settings ->Text Messages
There is nothing related to sort text messages on those menus listed above =(
PS:I've tried to restore the phone´s firmware and recover from full backup file again with no success. All text messages appears sorted by sender on the mobile, although Its delivered date are correct.
Any clues?

Nokia 7610 Supernova loses personal settings on re...

Hi,
Yesterday I purchased the Nokia 7610 Supernova.And if I restart the phone, it goes back to default settings (factory settings).Not only do I have to change the language but I also have to redo my profile settings.
Is there any solution for this ?
I reside in Pune/India.

yes that is a very good question. I am not too familiar with the supernova's hence my hesitation. usually when a phone needs an update it is the only way to do it unless your phone is capable of FOTA updates, which i am not sure either it is, the fota update is firmware over the air update. i know this is not really helpful, but it sure sounds like you will need to get yourself a cable as i can't imagine that supernova's will not continue to be updated. unless it is capable of FOTA.

Is this functionality available in it or Not.

The answering machine funtion, voicemail is a network feature, not a phone feature.
Contact your network and ask them to enable voicemail on your account. They will also be able to tell you how to configure your phone for it.

Nokia 7610 Supernova - sorting messages

Ive purchased the Nokia 7610 Supernova today and finally managed to transfer 191 messages from my old phone (Nokia E65) to the new phone via the latest PC Suite. It errored at first, but I finally managed to set it over into a new folder.
I was so happy I finally managed Now, a moment later I open the folder and the 191 text messages are in the folder completely randomised! I can't properly read through them anymore (as some of them followed each other up) and I don't have the option to "sort by - date/type etc etc". How can I fix this?
I tried making a second folder and moving the messages over from the previous one 1 by 1 in the correct order, it didn't help. I did about 25 and when I checked if it was done right it was all randomised again.
Please help? These messages mean alot to me.

Did You install PC suite to your computer before connecting? Which mode are you using to connec PC Suite or data transfer? Data transfer shouldn't require drivers but you can get the cable driver just in case. It should be on the disk that came in the box with your phone. If you have installed PC suite make sure it's running when you plug the phone in

my mp3 player on nokia 7610 supernova doesn't want to work. when I try to open it, it says that it is not enough memory. I've tried everythin' - deleted all that I could, refreshed freeware. nothing. help me please. I'm waiting for advice ....

How much memory is free? (go to the gallery, select Options and Memory details if I remember correctly).
This model has 64Mb of phone memory which is used for the operating system and the running of applications as well as storage, do you have any images, music files, video files etc. that could be transferred to memory card?

Nokia 7610 supernova- radio 'not allowed'

I just got a nokia 7610 supernova, but everytime I try to use either the radio or music player a 'not allowed' message comes up. I'm not sure if the problem is due to the fact that the phone was from hong kong, but I'm using it in the uk. If anyone has any idea how to fix this problem I would be very very grateful. I got the same phone today and spent half hour trying to figure this out. Neither the music player nor the radio would work.
I think you would have figured out the solution by now. Just posting the solution for the benefit of others who would be facing the same issue now. (I see 600+ hits to your question, so this problem is not rare...
THe solution that worked for me is:
1. Switch of the phone
2. Remove the battery
3. Put the batter back
4. Switch on the phone
You will need to plug in the earphone for the radio to work. You can choose "Loudspeaker" in options->settings (while the radio is on) to play radio through the speaker rather than earphone.

My Nokia 7610- Supernova screen is broken, need navigation to switch on bluetooth. & im need some assistance on how to switch on the bluetooth as I didn't save my numbers on the sim card! Obviously this will have to be directional pushes on the keypad as I can't see anything on the screen! please help.

Unfortunately this is notoriously difficult to convey and what appears logical to poster inevitably doesn't to the recipient; whereas on S60 devices there is the hope of keyboard shortcut or voice activation defined this option is not available here.

Nokia 7610 Supernova fails to connect to PC

Just got my Nokia 7610 Supernova, but when I try to connect it to a PC via the USB cable, the software will not upload on my computer. I'm getting a message on my PC saying "wrong configuration settings" and another one "click on finish to start a troubleshooting proecess which might help you fix the problem". When I click 'finish', no troubleshooting process is initiated, though. Instead, my PC starts trying to download the software anew and everything happens the exact same way all over again.
In the right-hand bottom corner menu on my PC screen I'm getting a message saying "your new hardware might not work properly".
I tried this on several different PCs at home and at work, and it's the same everywhere.
Can anyone help me?

Old Nokia 7610 Supernova always connected email

Is there a way that allows Nokia 7610 Supernova (or all other phones with the same firmware) to use ALWAYS CONNECTED email such as Gmail and not to terminate the connection after 10-15 mins........... pls help!

You need to configure the Internet settings on your phone. To define how to use the service, select Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Packet data > Packet data conn. and from the following options select Always online so that it will automatically connect to a packet data network when you switch the phone on. This also applies to phone applications that require Internet connection like email.

It's my 1st post. I have recently purchased my 7610 Supernova, last night I have faced problem, I sent text message to more than one person, during this process, I saw a message that sending of messages to more than one person had been failed and then symbol/ indicator freezes there and still there. Please, let me know that how I can get rid off this indicator. This is also showen in the helping book on page 16 under the head of Indicators.

1GB RS MMC for Nokia 7610

Does anybody know if the Nokia 7610 has any compatability problems with large RS MMC memory cards (512MB/1GB)
At the moment I am running a 256 but drastically running out of space.

I have just got a SanDisk 512MB Card. Apparrently seemless transistion for first couple of days but now cannot access photos in Gallery and cannot take any more photos - inspite lots of space still on there. Gallery error message is something like "exit or lose data" With the option to press "OK". After new photo taken error message is same then goes to "System Error !" !!! Indeed. Have gone back to original 64MB card for now.
