Dear adobe readers!
This week we launched a new ecommerce shop. And we want to have the design as good as possible. So for you guys the question if you can take a look at the design of the shop and give me advice about making it better and just let me know what you thinks. Everything is welcome. It is an ecommerce site about loungeset and for us it is really important the design will help for the best conversion.

I had to reinstall I Web in my powerbook. So all my folders with my website disappeared.
I had a back up of my website folder and I want to import this folder in I Web application I've just reinstalled.
How can I do it ?

All your iWeb work is saved in a file called "domain"
You may not have lost this file when you reinstalled iWeb.
By default it is located in your user/library/application support/iweb folder.
This is separate from the iWeb application folder.
Do a spotlight search for "domain"
You may find more than one. (the newly installed iWeb may have created a new one)
Navigate to each "domain" file you find and double click its icon to start iWeb.
You may find your work. iWeb by default opens the last edited domain file but if you've reinstalled iweb it may open a blank domain file. If that happens quit iWeb and look for another "domain" file (using a spotlight search) on your hard drive and double click its icon. Repeat this process until you've tried to open all the "domain" files you can find.
iWeb cannot edit published pages, only the data in the "domain" file.

Photoshop logo creation help for website !

I want to ask how to increase the width of the font in photoshop so that it looks fatter and proper for a logo, if anyone can make this logo for me .
My website desperately needs photoshop and image work which i 'm not able to do properly. if anyone can make the front page (default page of my site) more attractive or can just guide me what should i do to make it simple yet attractive, else guide me how to make front logo look good.

How do I remove the bookmark toolbar icons for websites? After updating to Firefox 22, add-ons don't help.

In the Bookmark Toolbar, the icons for websites take up too much space and are distracting. I used to use the Bookmarks - Deiconizer add-on but after updating to Firefox 22 it doesn't work anymore.
I tried adjusting the userChrome.css as in other posts but that does not work.
Please help!

If userChrome.css isn't working (note: you need to exit and restart Firefox before it takes effect), you can apply that rule to Firefox using the Stylish extension instead.
Does any of that help?

Hi, My name is David and I followed a course creating my own website from Lynda.com by Paul Trani. After that I created my first own webste. After I finished it, everything was working well in flash and firefox. I have only one problem and question concerning the feed back form for sending info from my website to my emailaddres. I created my website “LisbonDreamWalking”in Flash CS5 pro. I herein have a contact page, where people can send an email for a walk in Lisbon, date,the number of people etc. Now I want through my ISP / host funpic.org, that the input, info text fields to be sended to my emailaddress [email protected]. My mail URL adress iss: http://lisbondreamwalk.li.funpic.org This is a free host, so they don't work with forms like in the course, and I need some additional info for the php. How exactly did you shut down your laptop? Not a hard restart (holding down the power button), I hope... if that's the case, then it is extremely unlikely the file is still intact on your computer. If it is, it would be an image on your RAM, and it is time-and-resource-intensive to recover it if it is even there. RAM memory is disposable and always being written over. Sorry dude...
If it wasn't a hard restart, Keynote should have made a backup, unless you 'Force Close'd it.
It really all depends on how your mac was shut down.

I have a charge on my itunes account that I did not authorize. Finding help for this type of problem from Apple or itunes is impossible. Who do I contact to get this charge taken off my account?

My checking account was debited by itunes for a subscription i did not order. How do I go about having it taken off? The entire Apple website and the itunes website is competely non-helpful for resolving problems. They should make their site equally as unfriendly when it comes to enticing you to buy their products.

You could simply type "Contact itunes support" into the google search bar. This would give you the link to contact itunes support.
Or you could just click the word Support at the top of this page, then click the link under Contact Apple Support.

Taking a screenshot of StageWebView for websites running a plugin?

I've been trying to take a screenshot of an instance of StageWebView for websites with embedded SWF and PDF content on the Android. The method drawViewPortToBitmapData works fine for regular websites after enabling hardware acceleration in the manifest.

The API states "The behavior of this method is not guaranteed for pages that contain plugin content (such as embedded PDF and SWF files)."

Does anybody know of a way to take a screenshot from a StageWebView displaying embedded SWF or PDF content? or is there a free native extension that can trigger the screenshot in Android (power + home)?

Ipad can't store username password for websites

I'm using an iPad Wifi with 3.2.1 and I am not the only one that is having a problem with Safari storing username and password for websites that need credentials.
I cleared 'cookies', 'history' and 'cache' but that doesn't help.
The desired websites don't show a popup if I would like to store the username and password for a website.

Web sites with high security, i.e., banks, financial institutions, etc., do not allow user-id/password saving. If you are visiting one of these it is normal for no save dialog to be displayed in Safari.
We could say more if you identified the web sites that you are talking about.
I wouldn't allow the user name/password to be stored for any financial institution, even if the website allowed it. And the iPad isn't exactly the most secure device, so I would be really concerned if I lost it.

Hi,
With Azure web sites, you don't have to manage Virtual Machines, network load balancers, or deployment infrastructure yourself. All of these capabilities are built in and provided by the Azure Websites service.
It depends on you. Personally, the easiest way would be creating an Azure Web site and using a SQL Azure database associated with the site.
If you want to use a SQL VM as a database server, I recommend you to create it in a virtual network as it is supported for integration between your Azure virtual network and the Azure Websites:

If you are talking about Safari on the iPad, there is no version of Adobe Flash for iOS and there never has been. Clear Safari, close the app and reset the iPad.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History and Website Data
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If you are talking about Safari on your Mac, you are in the wrong forum. But I would still clear the cache, quit Safari and restart the Mac.

Compression tecniques for website use urgently needed

I am creating short movies (about 2-5 mins) in Imovie HD and i want them to be downloadable from my website as a file (not streamed etc). I want the picture quality to be very good but the sound can be mono as its not as important. I need to keep file sizes to about 20mb or less. I am told that 320 x 240 is the size to go for websites - is that true?
My problem is that both PC and Mac users will be wanting to download the movies so compatability is very important. What file type should i go for (mpg, mov, avi, wmv) and what compression should i choose for the best cross platform compatability?
If anyone can help, i would be so grateful. If anyone has any good settings that they have tried and tested - that would be fantastic.

I would create .mov ..that's to say QuickTime.. files: every Mac user has QuickTime on their machine, and Windows users often already have it, or can be guided to simply download it.
I've tried an assortment of compression codecs, and have found that a 'hardwired' codec-in-a-chip, rather than using software to compress, gives the fastest and sharpest results. So I run my mini-movies through an Archos recorder/player (..predecessor of the video iPod..) which encodes all incoming video in DivX format.
This plays great in QuickTime, except for the sound, which is - by default - hidden. So I run the resultant small video file through a little free program called 'DivX Validator', which resets the sound to the proper QuickTime format.
I then post that 'validated' compressed file on the web (..on my Homepage..) and it's playable by all versions of QuickTime, both old and new. [NOTE that only the latest QuickTime 7 seems to be able to play back videos encoded through the recent QT 7 H.264 hi-quality codec ..but DivX looks just as good, and can be played in any QT versions.]
Here's what a DivX-encoded movie looks like.. [This is a still slideshow burned to a DVD ..when it starts.. not moving video, and DivX really does justice to the hi-quality stills. And as DivX produced a small file size, it can be downloaded quickly!]

Hi. I am a CCNP certified person. I would like to lear CCVP. Is it possible to learn CCVP without any voice backround. Is it possible to get voice knowledge by reading books? if so pls recommend some books which will be helpful for me to learn voice over ip and its related ccvp papers. i will be greatful to you

It will be very difficult, though not impossible, to achieve CCVP with no voice experience. The value of doing this would certainly come into question. I would recommend finding a position where you can gain experience or building a lab for experience. Nothing replaces getting your hands on the equipment. That being said, reading will start you down the right path and give you some knowledge of voice protocols, QoS, etc. Please find a list of books and a link to some good information on Cisco's website below.

What do put in templates for website viewing on phone & tablets

I followed directions for website viewing on Phone, Tablet, Desktop, but is is still not working, to leave it blank it will default to desktop viewing, but I don't understand what do I put in the templates for Phone viewing and Tablet viewing I included the {tag_pagecontent} in all 3 templates.
Do I checkmark DEFAULT TEMPLATE this is where to upload on the Admin side, after I upload the files with the htm extension, finally I clicked SAVE & PUBLISH.
What do I need to in templates for Phone viewing and Tablet viewing.
Attached is the info I have in the templates I created in DreamWeaver with a htm extension, the SAME info is in all 3 templates:
