Help! Godaddy email on Android smartphone

HELP please! Just replaced my Droid Razr with a Motorola MOTO phone. I have Godaddy email with POP server, and it's worked great for the two years I had the Razr. Now with the new phone I have a major problem. Even though the setup option about deleting from the server is set to Never, it is still deleting from the server. This can't happen - I need the email to stay on my computer but delete from my device. I've called Godaddy twice and they couldn't fix the problem - "It shouldn't do that." Any ideas? I've already deleted the account and re-created it twice. I've powered off and back on. Nothing has worked so far.

When I try to send a pic from my cell phone to the printer all I get back is a piece of paper that says Sent from my Verizon Wireless G4 LTE Smartphone, no picture. Hi there, how are you sending the photo from the device to the printer i.e. using a print app or sending an email to the printers email address? The most convenient way to do it is by installing the free HP ePrint mobile print app from the Google Play Store on the device. Once installed press the photos icon and navigate to the image you want to print. Your printer and the mobile device will need to be on the same WiFI network and if this is the case the app should find the printer and you can go ahead and print. Godaddy email send problem

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but my godaddy email account cannot send emails from my iPad. I set it up the same way as my iphone and it think it worked initially but now, I've tried so many different variations of smtpout.secureserver.net. I called Godaddy's helpdesk and they told me to turn off SSL and use ports 80 or 25 or 3535. None of which has worked for me. Please help!

Update: Problem solved.
I'm not a techie by any means but I finally figured out the answer that somehow no one has posted before. I initially tried to setup my godaddy email on my ipad like the way it's setup on my iphone. I could receive emails but could not send. Because I have AT&T as my iphone provider, I have cwmx.com as my alternative outgoing mail server. That won't work with my ipad because emails from my ipad doesn't go through AT&T wireless. My home internet provider is Comcast. As an alternative SMPT server, I used Comcast's SMTP server: smtp.comcast.net. No user name, no password, SSL on, authentication password, server port 25.
I found my ISP provider SMTP server info on this page: http://www.host45.com/resources/ispsmtps.php
I think Apple can help future ipad users to better understand how email flows out of their devices and it really depends on your wifi/internet provider too.

Trouble with sessions ending using GoDaddy email accounts with Safari

I use a GoDaddy email account on my iMac with Safari. Lately I have been unable to manage my emails. I log into the account using a secure webmail, emil opens normally, but when I try to read or delete and emil I get this message: Session has ended due to inactivity. Log in to resume. I have cleared cache, cleared all history shut unit down and start again. Still same message. Any thoughts on this. GoDaddy suggested I download Chrome or Firefox to read my email.

Since I last wrote, I also tried advice I found in another post (can't mail from godaddy when using safari) to delete ALL website date and delete the cache.db and restart safari. This did not help.
Don't know if it's related, but my macbook pro that is having this issue with GoDaddy webmail is now also asking for an obscure iCloud password every time I start up that is not my usual iCloud password... i can find it in my keychain though.

Email app not syncing Godaddy email accounts.

I have the S3 and approximately one week ago, the email app stopped syncing my 2 Godaddy email accounts. The email app for Gmail is still working.
I've gone into
Settings > Application Manager > All > Email > Clear Data
and then again setup my Godaddy email accounts. This then syncs all the email again and I will get all current messages in my mail spool. However it goes right back to not syncing anything new.
I've tried putting it in airplane mode as I saw a post that that may help, but no. I've also removed the battery and let it sit, to see if that had any affect, but again no.
Has anyone else ran into this and if so, what have you done to correct this.
I am aware of the godaddy app, however I'd rather not use this, I kinda prefer the native samsung email app.

If you search on this forum and compare popular web hosting providers like Bluehost, Hostgator and Godaddy you will see many users have such problems with their email apps. First it seems your problem comes from your cellphone. But it is surprising that I had the same problem when I had a web and email hosting account with Godaddy and their customer service couldn't solve my problem and finally I moved my email hosting account to Bluehost and the problem automatically was solved, without any action!
So I recommend to you and any other users with similar problems to change your email hosting provider. Now that you are unhappy with Godaddy I recommend to try http://www.bluehost.com or http://www.hostgator.com companies.
I have the S3 and don't have any problem with syncing my Hostgator email accounts. So If I were you first I'd try Hostgator.

How to forward my godaddy email account to iCloud

I have searched for the last couple of hours and have come up short and apart from phoning Godaddy to ask them, I am wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to forward my godaddy email address to iCloud so I may send and receive through iCloud. This would be just as you would if you were forwarding your gmail address to hotmail or vice versa.

There are two separate things you can do.
You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account, and if it has @mac.com or @me.com versions these cannot be reinstated once deleted.

Or if you want a completely separate account you will have to create a new iCloud account and sign into it in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars. Note that any one device can create only three iCloud accounts.

Godaddy Email on Verizon

I'm trying to add my godaddy e-mail a Microsoft Exchange account on my Verizon iPhone. I'm typing godaddy's webmail server, which is: mail.ex1.secureserver.net. I get an error that says, "Exchange Account: Unable to verify account information". I'm typing everything in correctly. What am I doing wrong?

This was never the case with a Blackberry device. My godaddy email worked just fine on it.

GoDaddy email set-up?

I'm hosting two sites with GoDaddy, both with their own email addresses. However, I'm having a hard time setting up my iPhone to work with my accounts.

why despite numerous attempts on numerous iPhone, does Apple not longer support Godaddy email accounts?
I have followed the proper methods described in Godaddy to no avail. At this point it is clearly an Apple issue.

Why is newly installed 8.0 not allowing me to upload attachment in my godaddy email

I just installed firefox 8.0
Now when I attempt to upload a photo or PPS file as an attachment within my goDaddy email account, I receive an error message stating that I cannot attach until all other files have finished loading. There are no other files involved. I just used IE8 to accomplish and no problem. Help please.

What code are you using for those videos?

Godaddy email

Can anyone tell me how to connect a contact form to a godaddy account using formmail or gdmail? The form eventually sends the message to the client but it gives a message stating the server encountered an error. When I run the test script it get all 3 check marks so i assume it should work.

You first need to make sure your GoDaddy POP3 account is set up properly in Mail.app, I'm assuming your're using Mail. Here is a link that shows you how to set that up, including configuring your outgoing mail server to use port 80.

Once you've done that, you should be able to resync your mail settings on the iPhone and be good to go. I've been using my GoDaddy email account since day 1 on the iPhone w/o issue.

I have tried this recommended email setup. This set up worked on my phone until a few weeks ago. However it continues to work on my wife’s phone. Roadrunner now recommends the following set up: pop-server.triad.rr.com 110 and mobile-smtp.roadrunner.com 587. This setup up also fails to work.
Neither, roadrunner nor Time Warner have offered a solution that works.

I have a linksys wireless router with a connection of wired and wireless devices such as PC's and Laptops. Unfortunately, I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Android smartphone and I am unable to establish a connection. The smartphone tries to connect but to no avail. I tried the smartphone on other networks and this connected without problems. I also tried to comnect a Samsung Tablet 2 Android but again was unable to connect. Did anyone encounter similar problems and solved the connection issue? Thanks

I would agree with sabretooth, to reset and reconfigure the router. You may also do a 30second hard reset just to be sure. If you need help with this, you may refer to the following links.
