Help!! Has anyone else had this problem?

I've done several flash websites but I usually design in
flash and then import the swf into a table within an html page. But
I really wanted to start doing the full screen flash websites so I
did everything just right and then I published the site. It seemed
to work fine on my work computer but to my suprise it wouldn't work
on my family computer??? It gave me a windows message asking if I
wanted to (open save cancel) the downloading of the site. No matter
what I did it didn't work, it just gave me a white blank screen. So
the next day I tried it on a nother computer at my work and it
worked fine, but then I tried it on the other computer in the
office and it just gave me a blank screen. The only difference on
the computers at my home and work are the ones it worked on had
flash development software and the others didn't. They did have the
latest vesions of flash player though and they could play any other
flash website. So what am I doing wrong. Ive talked with some flash
pros about this and they have no clue what I'm doing wrong because
it worked on there computers. I just hope someone else hase had
this problem and resolved it so they can help me.

From what you said, it sounds as if the way you set it up
requires the viewer to have the Flash player installed as a
separate program on their system. This will happen whenever you
install Flash development software. But the Flash player used to
view Flash websites is an ActiveX control, not a standalone player.
Only guessing here, since you provided zero details of what
you did. Is the swf embedded in an HTML page? Did you set to link
to a SWF file alone? If the latter, that might be the key to the
problem. Again, just a guess, since I've never tried making a Flash
site that goes full-screen: if you want to do this, you're going to
have to embed a SWF in an HTML file in the normal way, and then
have that file load a second SWF file which does the full-screen
thingy.

Thanks so much but none of that helped. It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive. I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!

I have not heard of that issue although some people have reported events showing an hour earlier / later (though I haven't seen that personally).
Questions:
What version of the Mac OS are you running (Apple > About this Mac)?
Can you make an event and then it just disappears?
Are you using iCloud / MobileMe / Google / Yahoo / Some other server based calendar?
Try these in order:
Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Language & Text > Formats > Region. Region should be set to the country of your choice. Do not have it set to "Custom" as this can have unexpected results in the iCal window.
Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Date & Time and make sure the Date and Time are correct and that the correct Time Zone is selected.
If that doesn't resolve the issue:
1. First make an iCal backup: Click on each calendar on the left hand side of iCal one at a time highlighting it's name and then going to File Export > Export and saving the resulting calendar file to a logical location for safekeeping.
2. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
3. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
--- NOTE: To get to "Home > Library" in Lion: Click anywhere on the desktop and then click on the "Go" menu at the top of the computer screen while holding down the "option" key on the keyboard. You will see "Library" in the menu.
4. Launch iCal and test.
If the issue persists:
1. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
2. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
--- NOTE: Removing these files may remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
3. Launch iCal and test.

I rarely record automation, and when I do I never do a second pass (usually hand draw automation in) but I have had problems with Logic 7 no longer playing back automation. I've been told its fixed in Logic 8, but in the mean time here is a work around.
Select the region where the automation is (if there is no region, create one using the pencil tool and expand it to cover all automation) and go OPTIONS menu -> TRACK AUTOMATION -> "Move current track data to region data." Now everything should play back as expected. If you want to edit the data, simply select "move current region data to track data" and edit away.
For some reason, Logic 7 will sometimes stop reading track automation data, but I have yet to have it stop reading region automation. This is a bug, and according to other users, has been fixed in Logic 8. Hope this helps until we eventually upgrade

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.01 can not open Pages 5.2 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5.2 files can not be opened in Pages 5.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Describe the problem. Won't show videos? Won't take videos? Or other?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

I did it the .dmg way alone and has problems with itunes crashing. This is a better way to ensure that there is not anything left behind to cause issues.
You need to backup your computer then uninstall I-tunes and reinstall itunes.
Delete iTunes
Deleting iTunes is not recommended unless you know what you’re doing.
Launch Terminal from the UTILITIES within Applications
Type the following commands:
cd /Applications/
This brings you into the Applications directory, the next command deletes iTunes itself:
sudo rm -rf iTunes.app/
Enter the Administrator password to confirm
There is no warning or confirmation other than entering the admin password, iTunes will immediately be deleted, effectively uninstalling it from the Mac.
Deleting the iTunes application will NOT delete the ITUNES or music, and any purchases bought through iTunes will still remain tied to the Apple ID used to originally buy them.
You can download the newest version from Apple, and running their installer will bring iTunes back to life on your computer.

Glitchs like that sometimes happen
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If sit still reocurrs a lot, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I recently updated my iTunes to the new version. For some reason the titles and details of songs on the SONGS page do not appear, although the songs will play. Has anyone else had this problem? Every other page seems to be ok.

I recently updated my iTunes to the new version. When I opened it I found that there were no details listed on the SONGS page. On all other pages the relevant pictures/details appear. Although there are no details showing on the songs page, the songs are obviously there as when you click on a line it plays the song that should be listed. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm getting tired of people who supposedly know what

OS might solve the issue. It's like trying to dissect

Thanks for the suggestion... but I think my first question would be why these parameters would need re-setting? This is a new machine... It has never been shut down hard. It is used at most 10 hours per week... mostly using Office 2004 for MAC. I need to figure this out as I will soon need it as a Cs2/CS3 - Aperture workhorse.
I too agree that it is best not to use a sledge when a scalpel is needed... but as a novice to the MAC world I may have been misled by Apple support. I seems to have fixed the symptoms ( some) but appears NOT to have addressed the cause... which is what I am after.

I get that problem once in a while and I will not be able to connect to the Internet with any of the 5 or 6 (or 7 or 8 ) web browsers that I use on my iPad. The one thing that I do that has never failed to work for me is to close all apps on my iPad and reset the device. I can't guarantee that it will work for you, but this works for me every time I get the server failed to load/can't connect to the Internet message.... Or whatever the exact message is.
If you have a ton of apps in the multitasking display, it can take a while to close them all, so you could just trey resetting the iPad first and that might be all that you need to do.
Closing apps in iOS 7 works like this. Drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
