Help...Have This Ever Happened to you???

My Ipod Wont Show A Charge and it wont cut on i cant restart it or anything...if thi ever happened to you can you give me some advice and let me know how i can fix it....or even if it didnt happen to you can u please try to help still!!!

The battery may be dead, first connect it to your PC or a wall charger (If you have one) and let it stay connected for anywhere from 30 min to a hour or 2. Sometimes when the battery is dead it takes this long for it to get enough of a charge to even turn on.
If charging in on a Desktop PC with USB make sure the PC doesn't go into a "Sleep" mode. Of connecting it to a laptop make sure it does not go into "Sleep" mode, stays open (You don't close the screen down onto the keyboard) AND that the laptop is connected to its AD adapter
Also when trying to turn it on, make sure the "Hold" switch at top is off (Is not showing Orange and IS showing White)

If it happens again and the reset (home + power buttons) doesn't work, just let the battery drain; you'll know when the screen shuts off. Charge it back up and it should be fine. Frankly, I'm surprised this worked for you. Usually I hear people with this problem say that holding both buttons doesn't work, and they have to do the battery drain.
If the issue is incurable next time, you have a one-year warranty from the date of purchase.

If you have Apple care and the problem occured without misuse on your part ... it can be replaced without charge.

Out of the box, to use the function keys as function keys, hold down the fn key when you press the key. Otherwise, you get the picture function on the key. You can reverse this behavior in the Keyboard system prefs.

Did you reinstall after updating to Yoesmite?
If not, you could try to reinstall using the full three step way, and see whether things work.
Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

The files on my desktop are not the ones that were there when I shut down. It's like it's gone back in time.
My display's power supply got fried (I think) in a power outage so I bought a new one. However, every time I restart the display usually stays black. I have found I need to keep rebooting until it kicks in and starts working. I unplug everything, wait a while (a few minutes to overnight) and try booting again.
This last time the display finally came on but I'm faced with this problem. I used to use time machine, but I deleted everything and disabled it a couple months ago or more so I'm at aloss as to why the mac is booting into the state it was in sevearl months ago.
What could I have done to cause this? Has this ever happened to anyone else and is there a solution?
Note: I did a search for a file I knew was created today. I found it and it showed that it was a file I had saved on the desktop this morning--even though that file's icon is not appearing on the desktop now.
I did a search for photoshop and saw my CS5 version listed.
However, I did a couple more searches and these files no longer appear in the search. I don't know if they're there or not. This is bizarre!

Thanks for the obvious question. I mean it. The very same thought came to me this morning and, sure enough, I had booted into another drive--my old one that, of course, had the old desktop, etc.
It didn't dawn on me that this was the case since I hadn't set it as a boot drive but I guess in the course of all the restarts I did, it got switched.

Bookmarks don't display correctly on a 13" MacBook Pro, some subfolders won't expand, Anybody have this issue? Thank you!

I am using a 13" MacBook Pro, Mid-2012 with OS 10.9.3.
A while back I created some sub-folders in several bookmark headings. Several of them do not expand when hovering over them. The bookmarks are displayed towards the right side of the screen, and the next tier or level should display towards the left. It does not. I have deleted and reinstalled the bookmarks several times. I have removed the subfolders, and the book marks work fine.
All of the bookmarks display and work correctly on my 27" iMac.
Is this a screen real estate issue? Is there a fix for this?

These two folders have done this ever since I created them. I have deleted all bookmarks in Firefox and then reintroduced them all... Problem still persisted. I took the bookmarks out of the subfolders and deleted the subfolders. Bookmarks worked. I recreated the folders and added the bookmarks in, the problem still persisted.
I have a 27" iMac. The bookmarks open to the right, then the subfolders, right again. But they function because of the extra real estate. On this notebook, they open right, then left... With the exception of these two subfolders. It is a conundrum!
This issue actually drove me back to Safari. I like Firefox, but this is crazy!

Can any NI users verify if this also happens for you?

Does anyone ever experience where you move audio regions around, make changes to their length-- or even sometimes hit spacebar (to play) immediately after clicking on a ruler position and Kontakt2 begins reloading all of the instruments in the song??
This happens to me all the time and NI says that this is something they fixed, yet I am using the latest version.

This has happened to me twice now in the last hour, where Kontakt2 freaks out and reloads and then after that I try to save my song and Logic says "unable to save document"... GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just want to get my music project done, not have to reload my project every hour and lose 30 minutes of work each time.
I am beyond frustrated.

I got it out!
Here is how.
None of the Apple-suggested ways worked. However, before totally giving up I started Roxio Popcorn and pressed the big eject button on it. It came out effortlessly!
So, I thought "Weird..."
I put the CD back in and reproduced my original problem. I got it out just as easily using Roxio Popcorn Eject feature.
So, I then thought "Maybe it is the disk?" There is nothing wrong with the disk as far as I can tell. It is perfectly round, has a smooth label-side surface. It is not even a label, it is a standard software install disk you buy in stores.
I inserted a different disk. The mini mounted it, I browsed it, and then ejected it by dragging it to trash. Worked fine.
I tried a few other disks.
The drive seems to work fine.
Maybe that CD is cursed, I dunno. I tried that disk in my PowerBook and it works fine there.
Who knows ?
I am still backing up my hard drive as I type this message in case I need to take it to the store.

The story...
I came home from work. Turned on my PC. Get into windows then BSOD. I go wierd. I then am sitting their running through my head what happened. Yesterday, I installed my new BFG 6800 Ultra OC. Maybe it was that... I unscrewed my case to find my heat sink off laying ontop of my new 6800 Ultra OC and I panic. First things through my mind...
CPU -> fried
BFG -> dead... got hit by a massive heatsink.
Great... ne ways... I am rma'ing my mobo and cpu back to zipzoomfly. I wonder how they plan on handling this. All, I know... is that 1 grand worth of PC stuff could be trashed due to this incident... gah... I wonder how MSi will handle this if ZZF doesn't do the RMA... I mean my Mobo and AMD64 3400+ and Video card.
sigh...
mental note... purchasing a ThermalTake heat sink w/ three prongs next time...

this was using the stock heatsink. the plastic latch holding one of the clips snapped which gave way and allowed the heatsink to fall.

Return it for a credit. Buying things like phones and computers on eBay is not a good idea. If the person refuses to refund your money, use the eBay appeal process since you were sold something that does not work.

Your ios 7 has broken my wifi connection on my ipad. I hve a brand new router 30hrs old. My ipad 2 is not jail broken, jst ios 7 broken! Turning my router on and off could possibly break this also. Entropy seems solid!
My iphone 4 has no issue with ios 7 nor my apple tv!? This is becoming very fustrating nd quite annoying, I never had a problem with ios 6. Issue purely with
ios 7. Had to have telephone connections checked also, no luck! Have also spent monies on xtra GB, problem still persists, making it very unreliable to wrk with product! Would like to remain with product? If problem can be contained and rectified. Confidence is quite low in remaining with company. Can there be a speedier solution to this unreliable update, thats just manifesting in my ipad2 before it becomes stagnant. Just knowing if your technicians cannot solve the problem would ease my mind if i need to re-invest with another company (sadly) for my ipad2 works perfectly with all apps, its just the main heart beats been cannabalized, as though you have three repeaters missing in your program???? Since posting this hopeful delima, iOS 7 has stayd connected for at least a solid 12 hrs+, iCloud backup has now been running more than 5.5 hrs with no interruptions, storage information at top of page has also disappeared indicating a backup rate of 60% success, f this b my new iOS, I only have heart crossd, not fingers. Future update, Probable. Hopefully finger on the button, Confidence, High!!!
So far wifi still connected

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

The "Mail" icon App on my iphone 3G just disappeared! I've reset the phone, checked settings. I can still access the internet through Safari, but the entire "Mail" icon is gone! Vanished into thin air in a matter of seconds! Has anyone ever had this happen? Any suggestions as to what to do?

You can't delete it. Look on all your screens and inside all your folders. If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will restore the home screen to its original configuration but may move other apps around to do so.
