HELP! How can I open .doc spreadsheets in InDesign?

I have several spreadsheets of information in .doc format.
Is there a way that I can open this information in InDesign? Searched for a plug-in but to no avail.
HELP!

If they're Word document, just create a new document and use the File > Place command. Browse to the Word document, choose it and then shift click the page.
This will create as many pages as you'll need.

It's general and powerful, but complex. The socket/file/whatever approach is cleaner, and probably more suited to your usage.
Don't bother trying to use the Windows task manager for this sort of thing. You have to write messy native code, and it isn't reliable after all that anyway.

I tried to google on the web, tried to open it on text editor but so far nothing is done.

there shoudl be an option to recover the content surely...
I know somehow people even recover files deleted from trash, and deleted from computer at all
Im not jsut that technically strong to try that

open your ind CC re save and choose cs6 version on box option when you saving that. cause earlier version apps cant open file from latest version, but isn't vice versa

I get same Issue.
is iCloud make this issue.
Try Disable iCloud calender on you iPad and then go to March 2013 on you calender and then it not crash. after that go back and enable iCloud calender again.
And then it work for me :-)

You can use these steps to open your Pages documents with the previous version:
Permanently change the document’s app
Select the document and choose File > Get Info.
In the Info window, click the triangle next to “Open with” to expand the section.
Choose an app from the pop-up menu, or choose Other to locate a different app.
If you want to use that app to open all documents of the same type as the current document and created by the same app, click Change All.
Temporarily change the document’s app
You can open a document in a different app without changing the app that normally opens it. Use either of these methods:
Control-click the document, choose Open With, and then choose the app you want to use.
Drag the document to the app’s icon in the Dock or in the Finder.

That answer seems to work in purchased books but in my case I dont know who is the ebook provider in lebrary. I asked library people and they did not give me any contact to reset the activation. I will try again to find out that contact. I was wondering if there is any way at our side so we can fix this. Probably there is nothing. Thanks anyway.
