Help - How To Add Email Account To ITunes

I’ve added a Gmail account to my iPhone (original model using iTunes 7.7 & OS 2.0) and Entourage and Mail applications. It works fine in both applications and the iPhone.
My problem is that it does not appear in the list of my older mail accounts in iTunes when I sync my iPhone. It appears that iTunes does not recognize the newly added Gmail account even though it is fully functional.
Does anyone know how to add an email account to iTunes so that its settings will be synced?

I am having the same problem. Two mail accounts on the computer but none show up in itunes. They did the first time I synced the phone and now they are gone, unfortunately the first time i synced I didn't sync the mail accounts and on the second sync I was going to set up the mail accounts but they've vanished. Very strange. I've searched and have seen another post on this problem, but no solution.

iphone does support hotmail, but Windows Mail (Windows Vista) does not support Hotmail. you also need to have a subscription to hotmail (aka windows live)....they no longer allow IMAP/POP access w/ free accounts. i purchased the Hotmail Plus subscription for 19.95 yearly ($1.66/month) - this is the cheapest one.
here are the Hotmail settings for iphone:
Select OTHER for mail account:
name: xxxx
address: full e-mail address
description:xxxx
save
choose POP
incoming mail server:
host name: pop3.live.com
user name: full e-mail address
pw: xxxx
outgoing mail server:
host name: smtp.live.com

How to ADD EMAIL ACCOUNTS on MobileME?!?!?!

Hey everyone
Just got an iPhone today. Switching from a BlacKberry and my push email is very important to me.
I dont understand at ALL how MobileMe works. I come from the BlackBerry world where everything is simple, and to add a new email account to push email, all you do is enter it on the carrier's BlackBerry Bis site.
All I want to do is add my Hotmail and AIM email accounts to my iPhone with push Email. I dont understand HOW to get a new account on Mobile Me. When I log into me.com it is NOT obvious how to do this.
Please understand that I have a 0% background in using programs on my computer (like Microsoft Exchange) to get Email. I have no idea what it is or how to use it and I would prefer to never know.
ALL I WANT IS MY PUSH EMAIL! HOW DO I ADD ACCOUNTS?

Excuse my heated message but I am very frustrated. I waited 10 hours in line today (yet I was the 8th person in line - Rogers servers and iTunes were down all day and they couldn't activate phones). This has NOT been an easy transition from my BlackBerry and I am very frustrated.
If I DO have to use some email program on my PC, well, I can't. My dad uses Microsoft Exchange on this computer. I dont want to set up something under that program because I dont want all my emails going through his program.

You can add an email account by connecting to your computer's iTunes, selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes and on the right-hand side use the Info tab to sync the account's settings from, for example, Outlook on your PC or Mail if using a Mac. Or you can add the account's details manually via Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account.
If terms of a security lock do you mean for the iPad as a whole ? You can't password protect the Mail app, but for the iPad you can set one via Settings > General > Passcode Lock - but if you do set one remember it, as the only way to remove the lock if you forget it is to restore the iPad via your computer's iTunes

BEfore you try to Restore it, try a simple Reset.
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off option that shows up first).

ok just bought a macbook pro retina. im trying to add email accounts to it. i have yahoo msn gmail and hotmail accounts i need to add. every time i fill in the add accounts it will not accept any passwords nor will it save any under preferences.im not stuck,any help? my ipad accepts them as does my galaxy note phone,but this will not no matter what i do?

I found the solution and the post was not properly phrased. There is no need to add menu into library. All we need is to put the compiled menu into Oracle AS and add the menu name the menu module of the given form.

i am having problems with the lens profile.
i am working with raw images and when i open in phoshop cs6 (on Mac) and click on lens correction
cant detect what lens i m using (is the canon 16-35 mm) it just gives me option from other canon lens but not this one
when i click search online - doesnt work as well.
i even downloaded the Adobe lens profile downlaoder and find the profile for the lens and downloaded it but still doesnt apper in photoshop lens correcton.
when i open the image in lens correction in the info box under the image gives all the correct info what camera and lenses are used !! but why there isnt any lenses avalable to select when tried to edit the image??
please help how to Add a lens profile from Adobe lens profile downlaoder or how to add in anather way canon lenses.

Cant say the exact amount but my iphone handles 6 various accounts with no problems. Understand if you have all them accounts checking email every 15 mins then it will drain a large amount of battery. you can get around this by mail forwarding to just one account it will save battery trust me. All the large email account providers Gmail, Hotmail etc all have this feature now available.
