Help! How to forward incoming Skype calls to mobi...

Hi everyone,
We're looking at the most cost-effective telecoms solutions for our business, and so far Skype seems to tick all the boxes.
Trouble is, it's all a bit confusing.
Are the prices the same, regardless of whether it's business use or not?
How do I forward incoming calls on Skype to a mobile, when I'm out of the office?
Is there anyone at Skype that I can actually speak to to discuss business packages?

Ever since iOS5 the ringer and display does not work. No notifications.
I live in a gated community and the gate is assigned to my Skype number. I also have clients who call me and they aren't getting through.
If I have to purchase a land line, I will sue in small claims for the cost of the service and loss of service.
Do not waste anyone's time with cookie-cutter answers.
My Skype isn't ringing nor shows up on the screen ever since iOS5. You should have been working on this with the developer packs.
I've deleted and reinstalled 3x. It is running. Volume is correct.
This is outrageous as I pay for Skype and am thinking of canceling and demanding a full refund.
You are pushing things towards class litigation here in the US. There is no excuse.
Microsoft now owns Skype. They are a US corporation and are liable.

Which model call phone are you using? If you are a Windows Mobile user, then it will become an easy job. The software ----wm sound recorder can help you to record calls and sms. Then you can record your calls easily.

Help - how to forward a text conversation by email ?

Hi, with my very limited skills, I know how to forward a single text message by email .....but cannot figure out how to forward an entire text message conversation.
Is this even possible?
If not, can the conversation be extracted somehow?   I've fooled around a little but can't figure it out.

it's not possible in the entire conversation from the device OS itself.
Messages can be extracted to a database and viewed.
There are a couple of options for extracting and viewing data from a the backup files.
1. The IPD Parse macro is designed to read a Blackberry IPD file and create reports in MSWord or MSExcel. It is free, and you can find out more here: https://sites.google.com/site/ipdparse/home
For .bbb backup files, use this macro to extract seven "primary" IPD files (Address Book, Calendar, SMS Messages, Tasks, Memos, PIN Messages and Phone Call Logs)

No sound on incoming Skype calls on Samsung Smart TV (UE55D8000)

I bought a camera (CY-STC1100) for my Samsung Smart TV (UE55D8000) to Skype. I can video call but I cannot hear the incoming call on my TV speakers. Is there a setting I am missing to increase the volume .

Skype is designed on purpose to make use of the TV speakers and not to output any audio to external speaker systems. The reason for this is to ensure that the audio being picked up from the TV's microphone during a Skype call isn't affected the audio coming out of your TV speakers from the person at the far end of the call. If audio were allowed to be sent to external speakers (the type, placement, volume of which will vary in each living room) then it would be impossible to effectively cancel out the echo on the call and you would get terrible howling.
However, when you make a Skype call the audio should be automatically routed to your TV speakers without you having to manually switch to them.
Let me check with Samsung to make sure this is the case...

How can I remove "skype caller" from caller id

When I make calls from Skype I don't mind if it shows my phone number, but would prefer the customer I'm calling don't see that it's from a "skype caller" as this startles some customers I do business with. Can I have that wording removed and replace it with my name?

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your iPhone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

Incoming Skype calls always busy

This is a long-running problem with no apparent solution, but I figured I would ask. I have Skype and an online number. Now supposedly, this means I can receive incoming calls. I can't. The phone line is always busy. We've gone through Level 1,2, and 3 support with Skype -- still no success.
Their latest suggestion is that maybe something in the firewall is stopping incoming calls. (In which case, why don't they roll over into voice mail? he wondered.) OK, so humor me here -- will my Time Capsule block any incoming calls on Skype? Does anyone know the ports that I would need to check (simple google didn't reveals those)? Do I need to endure sitting on hold to talk to Road Runner tech support to find out if the ISP is blocking something?

Skype support couldn't provide you with those?
I'll put in the request now. It could take a couple of weeks to hear back. But when you're dealing with Skype, time and space really kind of are irrelevant to them.

How to forward only external calls CUCM 9.0

Hi all,
Have looked all around but did not find a good solution to my problem.
We have some users that want all external calls to be directly forwarded to their secretaries while internal users can call them directly. The problem is that CUCM does not have an option on Call Forward All that applies only to external calls. What we have done as a workaround is to configure
Forward No Answer External with a time of 1 second. Although this works the phone rings before being forwarded to the secretary.
Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

I think you can achieve this requirement , you have to perform below steps
1) Create CSS -EXTNL and PT- EXTNL
2)lets say from outside sombody is dailing 12345678 ie is your user DID number
3) then create a TP 12344567 and give PT-EXTN and translate this TP to your secretaries number
4) assign CSS-EXTNL to the gateway where the call is coming from, so that only gateway should have this access to this TP.
So whenever calls comes in from this gateway 12345678 it will hit the Gateway first then your TP and it will translate to your secretaries number and seceartary can answer phone by passing the user external everytime.
P.S once you have this , this particular user will not recieve any external calls, all calls shall be re-directed to secartary . In case user wants to attend external then you have remove this TP and CSS .

IIS plugin - please help - how to forward multiple webapps

I have setup iisproxy and iisforward.dll, and they are working fine for one webapp.
Now, I am trying to have requests for other webapps too to be forwarded to the weblogic server, but can't figure out a way to do it.
I am using WL5.1SP8.
WlForwardPath supports only one path (i.e, one webapp root).
This seems like a basic requirement to me. If anyone has tackled this, could you please me.

AnilTry the new iisforward.dll that I attached with this reply.
1) Stop "IIS Admin Service" from "Control Panel" --> "Services"
2) copy the iisforward.dll to the appropriate directory.
3) use "," to separate the wlforwardpaths and pathtrims in your iisproxy.ini
i.e:
WlForwardPath=/weblogic/,/webapp/,/console
PathTrim=/weblogic,/webapp,/console

Please help How to clear session after calling method..is anything wrong

I am facing issue while adding and removing text fields, looks like somehow textfields values are stored in session.
Please help, is there anything wrong in the code...
Example Detail :
a) I am genereating textfields dynamicaaly using ui:repeat
If I add 3 textfields say with Values "AAAA", "BBBB" and "CCCC" in a row.
b) When I click on remove link against "BBBB" row, on the UI it removes "CCCC" BUT I checked the backend methods which handles this, it looks like it is removing correct "BBBB" in ProjectHome.removeTreatmentLink().
c) Even if "CCCC" is removed, assuming 2 rows with "AAAA", "BBBB" are left on clicking "Add treatment link" it adds a row but displays value as "CCCC"
There is no database interaction at this point.

Blocking incoming Restricted Calls

Hello!
Does anyone know how to block incoming restricted calls? I have gotten an unusal amount in the past week; no one ever answers or leaves messages. I am starting to get concerned and a little nervous. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated thanks!

You have to pay $4.99/month for the 20 number call blocking plan. Apparently in that add on, there is an option to block, restricted and unknown calls from coming through.

Before trying to isolate an issue, it's always best that one is running the latest Skype release. Which may in itself resolve the issue.

Receive Skype calls on 3cx

Hi,
I'm new to this so please forgive me if a simple step by step explanation has been given somewhere before.
I didn't found it, so feel free to point me to it.
I would like to receive my skype calls on my PBX.
That part I've found out, it is possible with skype connect.
So made an account (didn't buy anything).
I do get the message that my skype account is connected on my 3CX.
So far so good.
But whatever I do with that account (like calling it), I do not get a connection on the 3CX.
So I probably need to buy something in order to get it to work.
There are many things one can buy like skype credits and/or channels.
But what's needed?
As the page of skype connect states "
With channels from just €4.95 (€5.69 incl. VAT) a month, you can make the most of these great prices:"
So probably I need a channel.
Do I need to pay for a channel each month only to receive incoming skype calls on my PBX?
Or is there something else needed?

Yes, channels are required to make/receive calls; the number of channels depends on the amount of concurrent calls that you will be making, up to 300 can be purchased. Channels have a monthly fee of $6.95/month USD.
To receive incoming calls you can purchase an Online number, if available in your country. The current price for Online numbers is $6.30/month USD. Also, Skype Connect is a ‘pay as you go’ service using Skype Credit (that is attached to the SIP profile), and does not support any of the Skype Client subscriptions.
