Help! How to open PSE 7 without opening catalogue

Tried to migrate from PSE 7 to PSE 9. After catalog conversion the browser seemed to open normally, however crashes in a few seconds. Called the Adobe helpdesk, they come to the conclusion that the catalogue is corrupt, however catalogue functioned normally in PSE 7. Since the catalogue has now been converted, it cannot open in PSE 7 anymore. I was happy having made a back up, but if I want to restore the back up, PSE 7 is automatically opening the old - converted/ corrupt - catalogue and... hangs. Has anybody within Adobe thought of the possibility to open the software without, automatically, opening the catalogue. Seems particulary useful in these kind of circumstances.
I have tried to open and at the same time helding the ALT + SHIFT+ CTRL keys but that does not work.
First of all I d like to migrate with my old catalogue to PSE 9, but at least I would like to still be able to open my old catalogue (back up version) in PSE 7.

The converted catalog is on its original location (hence original version is overwritten). PSE 7 crashes when opening this catalog.
The backup of the original catalog is on an external drive. Now I want to restore the back-up catalog, my understanding is I need to do this with PSE 7. (I tried it with PSE 9 too but got an error message).
However when I open the PSE 7 software/ organiser it starts automatically to open the converted/ corrupted catalogue and the program crashes...
So key question is: how can I start up PSE without opening automatically a catalogue (then being able to restore the BU)

Does that Profiles/2tt76737.default still exist?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Able to open fse2 without opening client

Hi,
In our production environment one user is able to open fse2 transaction code, without opening client,
While remaining users are not able to, if any other user is trying to open fse2 tcode getting status "client XXX has status not modifiable"
I have checked roles, parameters of the user who is trying to open fse2 and given same roles and parameters to another user, but he is not able to open.
I want fse2 transaction code to be opened for another user without asking "client XXX has status not modifiable"

I assume below configuration has been performed for one of the users in Production.
1. Change the SPRO settings for view V_T011 using SOBJ as outlined in SAP Note#135028 - Transfer IMG activity to Current Settings.
2. Further, Message FE-146, also needs to converted to an Information or Warning message, using OBA5 as outlined in SAP Note#109577 - Changing FS version although client not changeable.
Due to this only one user can perform the changes. Please cross and do the needful as required.

How to Remove items without opening new dispute for FHA Mortgage approval

Hello, these forums are very helpful. How do I remove items from the bureaus without filing a dispute? For example, I have several old accounts that are expired now. On 2 of them, I tried calling the creditors directly and they were so old that they said they had no information. I can't file a "dispute" with the bureaus because as you know, you can't close on a mortgage with an open dispute and I don't have time to wait 30 days. I can't quite go to the creditor when they're like "it's so old we have no information." The other issue I have is there are some blatant errors. For example, student loans errors. I have letters from my student loan company saying they've corrected with the credit bureaus -- but then they show up. What should I do? Again, I can't open disputes because I can't have an open dispute and close on a loan. LVNV put something on my credit report for a dental bill I paid in cash. It was years ago. I don't know how to go about proving I paid it. Last but not least I have a charge-off from Bank of America that's reaching the 7 year mark in 2 months. Is B o A good about removing after it hits that mark? Should I even try a goodwill ask of them to remove it early or at least update it to a 0 balance? (They didn't sell it so it still shows a balance) Or anything? I'd be afraid of offering any type of payment for fear they'd open the loan and re-age it since it's going to fall off in a month. It wont be BofA that removes it at 7 years, it will be the credit rteporting agencies. You can ask for an early exclusion (I had good success with TU and EX and didn't have anything on EQ to try on.) Call and ask for EARLY EXCLUSION. TU may take a few tries before you get someone that knows what you are talking about. EX was a piece of cake. You will need a report number to get thru on EX phone system (the last copy of your free report from annual credit report will have a 10 digit number at the top). If the others are old you can try the same thing, otherwise you may have to contact the creditor and get them to email you letters stating it should be updated and get those in the hands of the

How do you view all open images without opening each tab?

I have been using CS2 for ages, and recently switched over to a recent version of Photoshop. I'm using a mac. In CS2 I was able to drag my mouse to a corner of the screen and view all open files. Can I still do this somehow? Or do I have to open each tab to see the image? I'm looking for a quick way to view thumbs of all my images. Please help!

If you dislike tabs turn off
Photoshop > Preferences > Interface > Open Documents as Tabs
Photoshop > Preferences > Interface > Enable Floating Document Window Docking
And maybe try
Window > Arrange > Tile

I can Right click here on an unread eMail & select Delete without it showing... are you Right clicking before selecting it?

HELP : How to disable iMessage without iOS

Hi everyone,
I need help from you guys because I have an issue with iMessage.
I've been using this feature for a year when I recently got my iPhone 5 stolen 2 weeks ago
Since then, I'm using a non-apple device which then do not handle iMessage.
The problem here is that I do not receive messages from my contacts who use iMessage on their side.
Seems like my phone number is still linked with iMessage, but messages are kind of "lost".
I would like to deactivate iMessage from my account but I have no access to an apple device to do so.
I tried to unregister my iPhone from my support account profile but with no success.
Could you help me ?
This is pretty annoying because I can't receive most of messages...

Ever since i downloaded Lion i cant open my photobooth, it says it needs to be updated but i dont know how without opening it

After downloading the new Lion, my photobooth doesnt open. I click it and it bounced on my dock then a screen pops up basically saying it needs to be updated but i dont know how to update it without opening up the app. What do i do?

Saturday, from inside my pictures folder, I opened PhotoBooth for the first time since installing Lion. The same message was given to me. I said OK, or something, and it updated with the new app., icons etc. with no problems. Wish I could help you more but I am a bit mystified as to why it didn't update with the Lion install in the first place?

Unable to open PSE icons in PSE9

I have PSE icons (JPG Files) in my Documents. I click on the file in "Documents>open>"file folder number">open" PSE 9 opens and I receive the message ("Could not complete your request because the file is locked. Use the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file.") When I try to open the same PSE icons, while PSE 9 is open, the message becomes ("Could not complete your request because of a program error.") How do you get to the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer? Also the file icons display as icons in the view column of Documents.

Dictionary Search Help - how to trigger an event after F4 help

Hi,
I been searching the web lately to find a way to trigger an event after using the F4 input help.
Here is an example of what I would like to do:
- I have a WD form with a inputfield in it.
- The input field is bound to datalement "LIFNR".
- In my context I have specified the Input Help Mode to "Dictionary Search Help"
- And the Dictionay Search Help is set to "KRED"
A user will the click on F4 to start the Search help, then pick a LIFNR and the WD inputfield wil be filled.
What I want is to trigger an event when this is happening.
Does anyone have som tips or guides for me regarding this problem?

Well, configure the application server/web container to listen to the default http port of 80, rather than 8080.
I couldnt get where to specify 80 instead of 8080 so that it opens without numbers
