HELP__How to put my limewire song on my Ipod

I have just downloaded limewire to my computer and now I am trying to put the songs on my ipod and I have no idea what O am doing can someone please help me.

Do you understand that most (if not all) of what you're downloading through limewire is illegally shared files? This is not really the place to discuss illegal file sharing. Sorry.

If iTunes purchases then:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise you will have to get them from where you originally obtained them

It keeps saying that -69 an unknown error keeps accruing and it won't put these two songs on my iPod

there might be two of the same song, or they might be closely related in some way, (maybe the title..) that it is confusing the ipod. YOu might have not enough space on your ipod for the songs.

Hello and Welcome to Apple Discussions.
1. Stop shouting! (On the left hand side of your keyboard there is a key marked 'Caps Lock' ). It's poor form to shout everything.
2. I assume you have a Shuffle or Nano and hence the 240 song quote. This is an average; the iPod actually has 1Gb of memory so if you store photos, contacts, calendars or use it as a flash disk this will eat in to the 1Gb of space you have and reduce the number of songs you can store. If the songs you have are long or encoded at a very high bit rate then you'll also be unable to store as many as you thought.
Apple's 240 song average is based on:
Song capacity is based on 4 minutes per song and 128-Kbps AAC encoding;

• I just had my pc repaired, now how do i put all my songs on my ipod back into my itunes?

i just got my pc out of the shop and they replaced the hardrive and backed up all my stuff but he says he couldnt find my music in my itunes folder. which is odd because i have almost 30gigs of music that now is gone. when i plugged in my ipod after reinstalling itunes my purchases transferred but my 28 gigs of music that i put on their over the course of 4 years will not transfer from the ipod to my pc? can anyone help?

To transfer non-iTunes purchased music you need a third-party program like one of those discussed here:

• Hi,I'm trying to put all of the songs on my ipod classic to a hard drive for back up but it's only adding songs that I have purchased from the store but none of the albums that I put on from my cd collection. Is there a way to do this please?

Hi,I'm trying to put all the songs from my ipod classic onto an external hard drive, but it is only putting purchases from itunes onto hard drive and not any of my old cd's that I put onto the ipod manually.Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer.  As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you.  I'm sure you'll pay, however.
Let this be a very important lesson learned.
Best.

• ITunes will not allow me to put songs on my Ipod...

I updated my itunes and ipod and everything. I've had my ipod for a year now and have never had a problem like this. I drag my songs from my music folder onto my ipod itunes area and it says it's putting it on my ipod but when it finishes the song(s) are nowhere to be found. I have like 2500 songs on my ipod and numerous videos so it's not like I've never done this before. It only happened when I updated to the new iTunes so I figured I'd uninstall it and put back the old itunes I had which was iTunes6.0.5 and I get this error now when I try and open it:

Can anyone either please tell me how to fix that error or tell me how to fix the problem with the new iTunes because I'll re-install it if someone can help. Thanks.

I installed itunes 06 and now it will not allow me to put my purchased songs on my ipod. I get the notice that my computer is not authorized. Yet, each time I try to authorize it, I receive the notice that authorization was successful and there is only one computer authorized. I never had this problem before I installed itunes '06. Can anyone help? It sounds like the same problem the person before me had.

• ITunes won't recognize new songs on my iPod

I put some new songs on my iPod with another iTunes on another computer. When I opened iTunes and plugged my iPod in the first time after I had added the songs, iTunes recognized the iPod but didn't do anything about the new songs. My iPod also stayed on the "Do not disconnect" screen. I had to press the eject button to safely disconnect it. I thought that when there were songs on the iPod that weren't on iTunes, iTunes would question you about whether or not to add them to iTunes. I have it set to "Manually Manage Music". So,
1. Is it possible to get iTunes to recognize the new songs?
2. If so, how?
thanks

I thought that when there were songs on the iPod that weren't on iTunes, iTunes would question you about whether or not to add them to iTunes.
This applies to music purchased from the iTunes store, when the computer you're using is authorized to play music from that iTunes store account. It does not apply to music obtained in other ways, or if the computer isn't authorized to play that music.

I recently sync one song to my friends iphone 4 and it erased all the music and only put that one song. I tried backing it up but it didnt help. How do I put all previous music back on the iphone?

• I am unable to put new songs on my ipod

I am unable to put new songs on my ipod. When I put new songs into my itunes, i see them just fine. I go to sync my ipod and it says "sync is complete" within seconds, so I know nothing has been synced. New playlists are also not showing up. Many of my default playlists show up multiple times(90s music, recently played, etc). I have the 30 gig ipod with video. There are about 20 gigs on it. Thanks.

ok the manually manage music box was checked, I don't know how. That seemed to help. As long as I have you here perhaps you can help me with another problem that happens from time to time. My ipod likes to fall asleep when I'm syncing it. It goes to the apple icon on the ipod, stops syncing, and then starts back up again. The problem seems to go away when I restart the computer and/or itunes. I'll occassionally get an error message that says "the ipod "mullen's ipod can be synced. The required file cannot be found." Then I get the message at the top of the screen that says sync complete. In some cases it actually is synced! Any thoughts?

My laptop recently crashed and is unsalvageable with my itunes library on it.  My ipod still has all of my music still on it.
Is there a way that I can put the songs on my ipod onto itunes on my new computer without loosing them or having to buy them all over again?

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your iPod for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.
There is 3rd party software out there, but not supported by Apple, see this thread:http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2013615&tstart=0
