Help! I can no longer choose Adobe Media Encoder when trying to Render a Video.

When I try to Render a Video, only the JPG option is available, but I need to render a Quicktime.
Most likely related is a new error I receive when launching Photoshop CS6 Extended: "Could not complete your request because of a program error." This dialog box has an OK button. Once i click this, it opens no problem. Had been ignoring this until today when I couldn't render my video.
I have not changed anything with Photoshop so not sure why this is happening now, when it didn't use to before.
Please help!

Sorry, of course you would need that. I'm running Windows 7 Professional and have Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended for 64-bit. PS version number is 13.0.1 x64.
What else would be needed?

Unfortunately, photoshop cc doesn't support video on mac os x 10.6.8 and that's why you not able to export using the Adobe Media Encoder.

It's not a separate program, it's automatically installed alongside the other CC apps which need it (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc).

Why can't I access Adobe Media Encoder

I have been successfully using all of the apps in Creative Cloud much of the time. However, there have been some inexplicable issues. My account is current. I just received that verification. When I try to launch Media Encoder this error message appears. "Thank you for using Adobe Media Encoder CS6. The Adobe product that installed Media Encoder has not activated. Please launch and activate the Adobe product before continuing to use Media Encoder." I have used this Creative Cloud version of Media Encoder numerous times. It just doesn't want to work now. I can run other Creative Cloud apps, the problem seems to be with Media Encoder only.

Ok someone please help i am having so much trouble and am getting really stressed out!!!!!!! I downloaded Adobe premiere and when it had finished downloading my computers tool bar and desktop items just vanished the only option was to remove the battery now when i click on adobe creative cloud it says do you allow it to make changes to your computer and i click yes but nothing ever happens and then I figured out you have to right click run as administrator it then popped up and i downloaded premiere and when I click it on my desktop this pops up Thank you for using adobe cs6 please launch the encorder to run this product or something!!!!! I have Adobe Media Encoder CS4 installed on my computer and I'm trying to convert a .mov video into a format that can be edited on windows movie maker and when I convert the video it converts the audio just fine, but there is only a black screen. Any ideas as to why this may be happening?

Adobe Media Encoder: Audio won't export with video

I am trying to convert an AVCHD video for viewing on my iPad 3. I use Adobe Media Encoder and select the iPad 2 settings (1920x1080) and it exports the video perfect, but no audio. I have "Export Audio" checked off. I tried it with 5 other settings and it just wont include the audio. Any ideas?

Seems random people are running in to this, so hopefully this solution will be found by whomever's looking.
If you're exporting video files from Final Cut Pro as .mov, and then trying to convert said .mov to an .mp4 using Adobe Media Encoder and are losing audio even though you're multiplexing, try this...
Make sure that you export only a 2-channel audio track from FCP. When I export from FCP, I split my audio into various tracks by default. Great for making master clips, but problematic if uploading to YouTube or doing further encoding in Adobe Media Encoder. Like YouTube, if you have more than 2 tracks of audio, Media Encoder seems to get confused and ignores all audio tracks. Combine all audio into a 2-channel stereo track and see if that solves the problem.
Regardless of editing program, see if reducing number of audio channels from source clip solves problem.

Tried reinstalling it, no success.
Any idea how to fix this? Because reinstalling does just squat.
Adobe Premiere Pro also crashes if I try to open the Export dialogue.
I wish they kept the exporting method of CS3, adding another program to the exporting process just complicates things...

How can we correct a blocked plug in when trying to view internet videos?

My son's computer suddenly started stating "Blocked plug in" when trying to view any videos on the internet. We followed the instructions to upgrade Adobe Flashplayer but have been unsuccessful on many attempts and we have no leads to follow to correct the problem.
Can anyone help or suggest something? Thanks.

Select the OSX for you run the .dmg installer (you can go to Safari Preferences/General "Save doenloaded file to:" select other and then select desktop from the left column.
Run the installer pkg.
When it has completed, reboot your computer to finish the install.

Unable to load media error when trying to play a video in Sharepoint 2013

My team consistently gets an error when trying to play a video in SharePoint 2013. I can upload it, pick a thumbnail and save it. When anyone else goes to the intranet site and tries to play the video, they get a media failed to load error.
I have tried mp4 and wmv formats. I at first thought it had to do with the codec used in Camtasia to create the video, so I encoded it in Microsoft Encoder to a wmv and it still fails. All of the videos I upload fail for other users. If someone else uploads
a video, I get the error and cannot play the video. If I look at the library in Explorer, the video file is missing but the subdirectories for additional content and thumbnails are present. For the videos I upload and can play but everyone else
gets the error, I see those subdirectories as well as the video file itself.

Why can't i find adobe media encoder in apps in creative cloud

I just purchased the creative cloud suite and I found all the apps I need except for media encoder - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

-   Deactivate PPro and other apps through Help -> Sign out (this way you don't lose your license)
-   Uninstall PPro, AE, InDesign, and Flash Pro
-   Run the CC Cleaner Tool (find it here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html)
-   Install PPro again.

I can't find movie in Media Movies when trying to add to iDVD project.

I finalised a project in iMovie and it is showing in the Event Library when i am in the iMovie programme. However, when I try to add it to the iDVD I am working on, it is not showing in the Movies panel in the media section. Please can anyone help.

Yes - You need to
• in iMovie
• create a NEW Project
• add material from Event's to this
• Edit it as much or little You want
• Share to Media Browser - and as Medium (ev. Large but can give Audio problems) and NOT AS LARGE ! and do not "Share to iDVD" as resulting DVD will be BAD.
• Close iMovie
• Now first open iDVD and Create a NEW iDVD Project
• Now You find Your movie - down to the Right - Media-button/Movies
• Drag and drop it into the big Menu window (not into a drop-zone) but so that it returns the text "Play Movie"
AND - Do as the rest of us - Save as a DiskImage - and test play this with Apple DVD-tool - to see that it plays OK - No need to waste DVD disks. If OK then burn the actual disk.

Adobe Media Encoder ruins the quality of mi video

Hello, I have a motion graphics video made in After Effects, I've rendered PNGs and import them to AE again to add final touches and when I render ir with AME with the Android Tablet 720p preset and it always make a specific section look terrible pixelated. Why is this, I even tried encoding just the PNGs alone and still does it.
I tired this peset b/c I want my file not to be that heavy. The Youtube 720 HD preset works fine but my file is over 200 MB.
How could I make the Android tablet peset work or get a lower encoded file?

An H.264 is a bad choice for an intermediate file. You don't want to introduce compression multiple times!

Choose QuickTime as your render format in the AE Render Queue. Then choose PNG as the codec. A decent alternative is the Photo-JPEG codec; it's a bit smaller in file size. While Photo-JPEG isn't technically lossless, it is visually lossless at high quality settings and is good for most intermediate uses.
Both of these options are technically image sequences in a QuickTime container. The big benefit of this over rendering an actual image sequence is that it behaves like a video file and you get audio and not just pictures.

I can no longer see the airplay icon when trying to use Apple tv. I've made sure that all the settings are correct. Its just disappeared.

I used to have the airplay icon on my iphone and ipod but it has now disappeared. Its an iphone 4.
