Help, I can't change my homepage!

I downloaded jzip and it set my homepage for their website, and now I can't change it. I even uninstalled the program and I still can't change it! Any help would be appreciated!!!

Can't change my homepage and can't get rid of bing search bar.

I can't change my homepage. It changed to Bing when I downloaded something. There is also a bing search bar on the top of my page. I am furious. I don't want things deciding on their own what should be on my computer. Why is it so hard to find where to change the homepage or get rid of these toolbars? How can I do it? Your help page doesn't help at all. It leads me to nothing useful. This seems to have affected my computer's performance as well.

I get this message too. Every time I try to download an app I get a message saying there are 33 apps that can not be downloaded and to try again later. The app I am trying to download does download but I get 'ghost' icons of the others. It doesn't make any sense why the app store is telling me I can't download apps I have already downloaded previously.
This all started when I entered my ID wrong. The only way to get rid of the ghost icons is to tap them. Otherwise they stay there waiting for the download.
I can't get this error message to go away. It must be a new bug.

How can I change the homepage for the tabs?

A while ago, i downloaded, by mistake, a program called Babylon and since then every time I open a tab, google by Babylon showes up. It is very annoying and I cannot find a way to change it. Can you please help me change the homepage for the tabs?

Hi, someone could tell me why I still can't change my welcome screen in the micro media explorer's settings?
I read some post about this before asking you but I've upgraded my Zen Micro firmware and the "explorer" as well ( LB__02_05 & LB_4_00_8) and the button in the pop-up's window is still fade so I can't change the picture....
Any body wants to help me to find out this problem ?

I'm a newbie to these forums and I have a question... Can I change my WEP key on my FiOS wireless router? (Actiontec MI424-WR Rev. D)
My neighbor, who also watches our dog when we go on holiday, has been using my internet from his house. He freely admitted this. My FiOS is much faster than his throttled Comcast and since he's a power user (torrents) he frequently uses my internet connection for all his massive downloads. His usage knocks me off PS3 and noticeably slows my internet speeds down.
I know he has my IP and WEP since he spends weeks at a time in my house. I'd like to change my WEP key and keep it hidden from him.
How can I kick him off and prevent him from hopping back on?

Well... theft of services issues aside since what your neighbor is doing is illegal ...
I agree with Justin. Go with a WPA2 connection and use a reasonably long and complex password. I'd change the SSID as well although that's not absolutely required. Also make sure you change the userid/password on the router as well in case they know it. Don't get wrapped up in hiding the SSID or turning on Mac authentication -- while they don't necessarily hurt, they don't add anything appreciable to the equation and just make your own life more difficult.
Now ... I'm going ask, are you even using the the wireless at all? Perhaps you are using a hardwired PC to the router and really don't need the wireless? If so, just go into the router and turn the wireless off. Your neighbor can't steal what isn't there.
Oh ... and it might be time to get the key back and find a new dog sitter.

HELP!Can't change text color photoshop 3d

Hi everyone!
I am having a problem with Photoshop CC and the 3d text extrusion. I've never been able to change the color of my text using the Color Picker or changing the text color by going into the "Edit Source" feature and manually changing it. Neither of these have any effect on my text color. The only way I've found to change my text color is by selecting the Diffuse color under my Front Inflation Materials.
The screenshots below will show my settings and problems.
The first step is creating the 3d Extrusion text layer. I have selected below the word Beach in a dark grey.
The next step is after the 3d Extrusion layer is made, I am trying to change the color of my 3d text to a red. So I'm highlighting my text layer, going to the 3d Text Color picker and selecting red. The box above shows the red that I've selected, and below the little thumbnail also shows red. My problem is that after I press "Ok", the small red box below next to text reverts back to the original dark grey and doesn't change.
The 3rd step and the other way I'm trying to get my text color to change is by clicking on the "Edit Source" button, going into the .psb, manually changing my text color to red, saving and closing the window. The text color still does not show my changes. It remains the original dark grey color that I originally had. Now, if I go back into "Edit Source" my text is red, but it won't show the changes on the 3d layer.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there something I'm missing? Thank you guys in advance.

I'm with you XM Just got Steve Caplin's book on 3d Photoshop and he says you can easily change the color as shown in that video —although I am getting different color picker. note the properties panel (on right) the color swatch shows pink once I click OK it reverts back to original color

How can I change the homepage that displays when I open Firefox?

I just had to reinstall a program that had become corrupted, and somehow the process changed my Firefox homepage. Not only is the new one not what I want, when I try to open Firefox I get a notification from WOT that the new page is unsafe.
I do one open Firefox window. I would like to use it to change my default homepage back to the one I had, but I can't find how to do that.

Help! Can't change my security questions!!!

SO, I've been having some trouble. I need to change my security questions so I can use my iTunes credit. But when I log in online and follow the instructions, it doesn't give me the option of "forgot your questions?" So I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has had the same issue, and if anyone knows how to fix it. It probably doesn't help that my email has expired. If you aren't getting the reset link on your account then you don't have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on it, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions - you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset : Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security

Help! Can I change cover after creating my book?

I just finished my first photo book, but I didn't realize until I went to buy that I had not selected the cover. I took the default. I can't find any way to ONLY change the cover. I like everything else. Do I really have to create a new book and re-edit all those photos?

You may not have to start over. First select the book and type Command+D. That will duplicate the book. Open the second copy and go the to Theme button at the bottom. Click on it and select the soft cover size of book you want. You'll get a warning that you might lose some text but go ahead and try. I've had good luck switching between types and not losing text. If it works you're home free.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

Help! can't change resolution on 20" Apple cinema in OS 9.2.2

Hey,
I just bought an older Apple lcd display (A1038). I use it with a G4 Digital Audio tower.
This Apple cinema display works great at the higher resolutions in OS X (10.2.8) and only works at the lowest resolution (640X480 - no other choices given)) in OS 9.2.2. This says and means something, I just don't know what. ( I still use OS 9 for recording).
I have to say here that I tried another, newer Apple Lcd display with this same computer and it worked fine.
Also, when I zapped the pram, the resolution was great in OS 9 but the entire desktop was in a box about 8' X 6". At that point, I restarted in OS X and the screen filled out and the resolution is great, and then I restart in OS 9 and the screen is filled out but in the lowest resolution (640-480) and there are no other choices when I open the monitor control panel.
The card is a NVidia GeForce2 MX 32MB AGP Graphics Card, and I found an update for it, but the problem still persists.
This monitor I bought used, and it did not come with the original software cd.
Any ideas on how I can get this display to work at the higher resolutions in OS 9?
