Help! I can't delete music or videos off my iPhone! iOS 8.0.2

I have an iPhone 5s that I updated to iOS 8 and my storage is full and I can't delete any music or videos off of it. I turned off iTunes Match, turned off Show All Videos and Show All Music and try swiping the remaining videos and music off but it won't even swipe to show delete. Went to Usage --> Manage Storage and Music or Videos won't even show up there, so I can't delete from there either. I've even tried resetting all the settings twice. No luck. I updated to iOS 8.0.2 and the same issue is happening. Please help!

I have been dealing with this same problem on both my iPhone and iPad ever since iOS 8 was released. I can't remove any music or videos. I was hoping that with iOS 8.1 this issue would be resolved, but no. Going to Usage -> Manage Storage still doesn't provide access to Video like it used to in iOS 7 and earlier versions. Selecting Manage Storage gives a list of items you can delete files from but not Video. Apple needs to return the Video (or Music) option to Manage Storage to users can clear their storage.
As it stands, the only way I have been able to clear my storage once it is full after watching several TV show episodes or movies bought on iTunes on my iPad is to restore it as a new iPad. This is ridiculous. There must be an easier way to clear storage of videos.

no photos appear in itunes, under device/photos tab, and no albums are synched in any way to aperture or iphoto.

In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Click Apply.

When I try to remove music from my iphone by synching only checked items, most of the unchecked items stay on my iPhone
I recently purchased some TV shows for my iPhone using WiiFi. Now I can't get them off my iPhone. I tried transferring purchases from my iPhone. That seemed to work in that they showed up in iTunes and I could uncheck them. But when I unchecked them and synched it didn't remove them from my iPhone. So I've got about 4 GBs of space used on my iPhone by video I don't want.
I'm at the latest version of iTunes and the latest version of iOS.

So I had tooken some pictures and videos off of my phone from this game I was at. My friend had accidently deleted some after looking over them. I've been looking for ways to get them back but I can't any solutions. Sadly I didnt get a chance to back them up.

Was your phone backed up after the game but before the deletion?
You can restore from that backup.
If you do not use iCloud, iTunes will backup automatically before syncing.

I moved a movie to my iPhone, where it died. I resync and yet it continues to take up storage space on my iPhone. iTunes helpfully points out I have "no rented movies in my iTunes library that can be transferred to this iPhone." Turns out shutting off the iPhone completely and turning it back on resolves this issue. Pretty simple fix. Wish I didn't have to do it though.

Export Photos and Videos from Camera Roll to your computer.
Empty Camera Roll.
Make a Folder/Album with all photos and videos you want to have in your iPhone and sync them through iTunes.
This will free up space in your iPhone and your iCloud.
The backup of Camera Roll in iCloud is only to restore your iPhone. You can't access them directly.

I can't get music and audiobooks off my Iphone.

I recently downloaded a song and an audiobook directly to my iphone. I want them off my iphone, but I cant figure out how to do it. Unchecking and even deleting them from my i-tunes on my computer doesn't work. My iphone just replaces it on my itunes on my computer automatically every time i sync. I dont have enough room on my iphone to keep this stuff on the phone. What do I do to get rid of it?

Ok, to kinda clarify, I just bought this new cd and i downloaded it onto my computer and now I'm trying to download it onto my iPhone! But syncing wont work because it will delete all my other music on my phone! And when I try to drag the cd to my phone it comes up with a red circle with a line through it!! How can I delete an iCloud account off my iPhone 5 with iOS 7?

I have an iPhone 5 that's been updated with iOS 7 and am wondering if anyone can tell me if it is possible to delete another persons iCloud account off my phone without knowing the password and only using my iPhone to do it as I don't have a computer at home but if it can only be done on a computer that's fine I can get access to one if need be but would rather know how to do it from my iPhone, the iCloud setting has let me add another new acc but I want to delete the old one altogether if possible?! Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

If your iPhone has been set up with another person's iCloud account, then you will need that person's Apple ID and password, or will need them to remove the iPhone from their iCloud account. There is no other way past the Activation Lock.

Help: iTunes wants to delete all my music and videos off of my iPhone!

I usually keep the option to manually manage music and videos on my iPhone. I only use 1 pc to transfer music and movies to and from my iPhone. Recently for some reason when I launched iTunes, an error message kept poping up repeatedly saying "The iTunes Library file cannot be saved." I fixed the error message by adjusting the user access privileges to my music folder.
Now my music library is completely empty in iTunes, but that shouldn't be a problem because I manually manage my music and videos. However, when I checked the iPhone page in iTunes, the checkbox for manually manage music and videos is unchecked.
So I went to go check the check box so that I can continue to add some more music and videos to my iPhone, however a message box pops up saying:
"The iPhone "my iPhone" is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?"
I have about 12 gigs worth of music and videos which I have carefully hand picked over a period of about 3 months and now iTunes wants to delete all of it because it thinks I want to "sync with another library". I only hope someone can understand how frustrating this is for me. All I want to do is continue to be able to add music and videos to my iPhone without having to erase months worth of work putting the current music I have on there. Can anyone help me?

Thanks for your reply. I don't keep all of my music in the iTunes' designated music folder. I don't like the way iTunes reorganizes my songs and I keep all my music in my own self organized music folders as I don't use iTunes as my primary media application. Not to mention allot of my files come from all different corners of my computer's hard drive. It would literally take months to go through over 20 gigs of media files to pick out the songs I have in my iPhone library to rebuild an iTunes library. Like i said, I don't even use iTunes other than to transfer files to my iPhone. I thought the purpose of manually managing the files was so you don't have to sync it with the iTunes library but now it won't give my that option without requiring me to delete everything on my phone I worked so hard on.
What I don't understand is logically or technically why iTunes HAS to delete all the content off of my iphone. Who's decision in the Apple's software engineering department was to require the one's iPhone to be erased if someone loses their iTunes library? Its frustrating because it makes no sense and I feel as if the software is punishing me for reasons I don't understand by threatening to delete all my content off my phone. Is there absolutely no way to transfer my music to my iPhone without deleting everything currently on and completely rebuilding my music library from scratch?

No, at the moment you can only delete music when connected to your computer's iTunes, you can't delete it directly on the iPad.

Im afraid if you are looking to put video or music content on your Lumia 710 you will have to download the files onto your PC and transfer them accross using Zune software. However you can still stream content rather than download it.
You can also purchase music in the Marketplace application.

I can't play music or videos!!

I can't play music or videos on iPod touch 5! When I play music it pauses and plays by itself and then Siri randomly pops up and then goes away again. The same happens with videos on YouTube; when I watch them they randomly pause and my music starts playing and then Siri starts! I have tried resetting it and it is not insured. Please help?

Try:

You can either sync the iPhone and iPad to a computer that has your music on it and make sure the U2 album is not on the computer. Or you can delete all of the music from both devices (settings > general > usage > manage storage > music. Then redownload your music from your purchase history on the iTunes store
