Help!! I can't download iTunes no matter what I try!

I am trying to download itunes onto my computer and keep getting the following error message: "Error writing file to c:\program files\common files\apple\apple application support\webkit.resources\inspector\dialog.css. Verify that you have access." I have unistalled all components of previous iTunes versions, tried using IE8 instead of Firefox, etc. Nothing is working. Please help!

Log/sign out of the iCloud account on your Mac Pro (in the System/iCloud preference pane)
and then log back in with the ID used on your iPhone.

I then deleted all apple programs including "appole-application support" "bonjour" and any other apple named products.. from my installed programs and still itunes did not install and same message as above appeared. Now I cant even install bonjour without the same message coming up..something is very wrong with apple itunes software and the support other than your help is horrendous..I thought MSFt was bad but apple appears is even worse and all I was doing was trying to install itunes so I could use it with my new Iphone5S which awas given as a gift..should have stayed with black berry ..much easier and apparently safer to use...any help you can give to now fix my lap top and install itunes would be great..thanks again ..Don

i have tried a system recovary
i have tried those programmes where you download them and they check and try fix the issues on your computer
i have a windows 7 acer laptop

Make sure you are highlighting the song in your iTunes library or in a regular playlist and not in a smart playlist (which maintain the songs in the list based on set criteria so preventing you from deleting from one). Click on the Music icon underneath Library in the source list to bring up your song list in the main pane, locate the song(s) there that you want to remove and you should be able to delete. Why can't I install the new version of itunes no matter WHAT i try?HELP!!

I have tried and tried and tried to update my itunes on my laptop and I always get an error message saying there is a problem with the installer. I think the error number is 2324 orsomething like that. Can someone please tel me if this is because I have a bug on my laptop or if this is an Apple issue that isbeing resolved? It is SO frustrating!

I can't download itunes (11.1) whats happening?

I've tried many times to do the download of te latest version of itunes (11.1) but I just can't. I don't know what's happening but everytime that I click to download it, the site is updated and the archive do not start downloading and I can't find it in any place in my computer. Please help me. Hey Guys i suffered from this problem for a frustrating three weeks before i tried somthing completely random and it fixed my problem.
My ipod would appear in mycomputer and itunes would even open when connecting my ipod but would not appear in the menu. TRY THIS!
1. goto start menu
2. Click control panel -> Administrative tools -> Computer management.
3. Click disk management under the storage tab.
4. Right click your ipod (must be plugged in and possibly in disk mode) and select format.
5. In the file system tab select "FAT" NOT "FAT32"!!, select 'perform quick format' and click ok.
After this step my ipod appeared in itunes as a corrupt ipod!
6. In itunes restore your ipod since it is now on the menu.
THIS FIXED MY PROBLEM!! i hope this helps anyone with the same problem. :D!!!!

I cannot install itunes no matter what I try, I have just purchased the iphone4 and I try to install the new itunes 10.5 but I keep receiving an error message saying that the installation could not be completed please try again.

I have deleted files/folders like it tells you too here, but nothing seems to work.

right click on the setup file
run as administrator
also try compatibility mode as winxp sp3
also try rebooting windows.
if all fails still, run ccleaner, clean your pc of junk files, scan registry for errors and spyware while your at it.
can you install another app? meaning will it install anything else or is it just itunes that wont install?
are you logged in as an admin?

Open Finder. Go to the "Go" menu in the menu bar. Press and hold Control and click on Library. Go to "Preferences". Find a file named, "com.apple.iTunes.plist" and delete that file. This won't delete your iTunes content. It will reset iTunes. Try it again.

You can get Leopard 10.5 by calling the Apple Online store.
Tell them you purchased a new iPhone and need 10.5 because you have a PPC Mac and cannnot run 10.6..
