Help I can't keep my BEFW 11S4 Up
I was here back in March with issues with this router. We assigned the MAC clone and it has worked pretty good most times. Recently it just wont hold it's charge. I have to unplug the power for a few seconds and reconnect it, and can surf on for a while. In the last few days it has been stopped more than running. It is hooked between my main PC (hardwired) and a Westell WireSpeed DSL Modem. I couldn't refire it today and bypassed the router most of the day by connecting directly to the modem. My son and wife started complaining that they couldn't get connected wireless.(the router was bypassed) I found some of my prior post here info and started going through the Router setup panel. I clicked on the statup panel got the MAC address and plugged it in the setup and hit clone. The router started working again for about an hour and then stopped again. I unplugged the power cord for 10 seconds, plugged it back in and it has worked while I am here. Is this router on it's last legs or can the great minds here help me get more miles out of it. thanks John
My router started acting a little weird today: I plugged in the router and it worked fine for 15 minutes At 15 minutes it closed all connections for about 1-2 minutes Got fixed again for about 2 minutes and disconnected for 15-30 seconds Worked for 5 minutes didn't work for 20 seconds. Worked for 2 minutes, stopped working for 20 seconds. The intervals seem to be random When I get disconnected, I cannot even access the admin page by typing the 192.168.1.1 on the browser.

While composing email, keep getting "Unable to save as a draft" every 30 seconds. I've disable auto save and it didn't help.How can I stop this message?

Thank you for taking the time to look at my app. This is my last major stumbling block that I have to resolve for this and other forms in the app.
Actually, I did use the Form Wizard for Auto DML to originally create the form. It was great. It created most of the Buttons, Items and Validations automatically (basically most of the page). I just needed to create some Processes and Computations. Two of which were the Processes to update the 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields and 'update_dt' and 'updated_by' fields. The Create process updates the fields just fine.
However, my problem seems to be that the Hidden 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields aren't picking up the values from a record that is being editted. Then when I attempt to save the record those fields are NULL, causing the DB NOT NULL constraint to throw an exception for those fields. In the back of my mind I seem to remember seeing some post stating something to the effect that the information in fields with a Source Type of Database Column is just displayed and does not affect Session State items.
Even with that, I am still wondering just why the 'created_by' Page Item shows the value that is in the DB record being updated, but the 'create_dt" does not (as can be seen in my first posting). It is the 'create_dt' Page Item (:P205_CREATE_DT) not having the DB records 'create_dt' info in it that appears to be the problem.

Pretty much as the title says, I can't keep iTunes closed once I've started it. Even worse is that I can't update iTunes as during istallation it automantically starts and then gives an error whilst attempting the upgrade.
Any suggestions please?
Message was edited by: johnnyboy700OK, you have iMovie 08, which is also known is iMovie Version 7.1.4. It has been a few years since i used this version, so this is based on memory.
The only components you must have in the Library/QuickTime folder are the AppleIntermediateCodec.component and the AppleMPEG2Codec.component.
All the others could potentially be causing problems. I would drag the DivX components, the Flip4Mac components, and the Google Camera components to the Desktop temporarily, so nothing is left in this folder except the two Apple components.
Then restart your Mac and start iMovie. If it works, yay!
If you still need these other components for some other app, you can probably get updated DivX components for free at Perian.org.
You can get updated Flip4Mac components by running WMV Player and updating. It should prompt you to update automatically.
I am not sure about the Google components, but if you are running something that needs them, it should prompt you to install the current versions.

BEFW-11s4 ver. 4 Web-Utility is downlevel
I am trying to use a BEFW-11s4 that I put on the shelf years ago. I am configuring it as a cascaded router in a LAN-LAN configuration (as the 2nd router).
The ethernet cable from the main router is connected to one of the ethernet ports on the BEFW.
DHCP is disabled on the BEFW.
The IP addr of the main router is 10.0.0.2 .
The IP addr of the BEFW is 192.168.1.1 .
I have two problems that I hope yall can help with, because reusing this router is way cooler than buying another one :-).
First, the Web-Utility of the BEFW seems to be downlevel, since it does not match the illustrations in the manual for it. I need the uplevel utility to enable WPA2 wireless security. I suspect that the firmware is downlevel also, but the linksys site says that there are no downloads available... So, where can I download & how do I install the current level of the Web-Utility?
Second, when I configure the BEFW as the downstream router, which I can get working in wired mode, I can no longer access the BEFW at 192.168.1.1 . In order to access it again, I have to only connect the computer to the BEFW, and then hold down reset long enuf to restore the original settings. If anyone knows how to get to the BEFW Web-Utility after it is set up in LAN-LAN cascaded mode, please let me know.
Thanks!!!!The BEFW11S4 does not have the WPA2 wireless security type. I believe it is not compatible with that type of security. What you can set on the router is WPA Pre-shared key and as far as I know, the last firmware update was version 1.52.02.
For your second concern, make sure that you set a Static IP on the BEFW router so that you can access its UI. Also, do not use the192.168.1.1 IP Address on the BEFW if your router IP is 10.0.0.2 since you have a LAN to LAN network. The secondary router should be within the range of the main router. Try using 10.0.0.5 which is within the range with the main router.

Here's the issue. Kids got themselves into some trouble on iPods. We set all restrictions any turned off iMessage etc, which I noticed they can't turn back on bc it's gray with the don't allow account changes set. BUT, it still allows Wi-Fi to be turned on and off! How can I disable them being able to turn that on wo asking me?? In ios 7, the blocking feature, fabulous, BUT, how can I keep the kids from UNBLOCKING numbers I have blocked? What I am looking to do actually is allow my kids to be able to text family but block everyone else. And ask me to turn on wi fi. How and can this even be done? Right now my d text is turned off completely. And she knows the inside and out of her device so she can turn wi fi on herself. On vacation she entered the wi fi code of our condo and so I did forget network, which didn't work and wi fi kept connecting anyway wo requiring password again! HELP! Thanks :) Also, they have iPods now but am asking these questions based on them getting our 4s's with ios 7.
TeresaBoo, I empathize with your dilemma and have a similar problem. I'm trying desperately to keep my teenage daughter away from a controlling and abusive boyfriend. Of course, she is in denial and thinks it's love. Sure, I can block text messages through our wireless provider, but iMessages run on an independent network. I can block a phone number from iMessaging on her phone, but she can unblock it just as easily. I wish there was some way for parents to create a password to protect settings. Don't let negative comments get you down. Honestly, if someone can't relate to your question or offer help, why are they even bothering to comment??

(1) - when I open Firefox I recently have clicked on the hyperlink for HTML at the bottom of page, it works great for my gmail and yahoo accounts. However, it is not a permanent fix, as it apparently lasts just for the daily session. How can I keep my internet, et al. HTML permanently?
(2) - Firefox v24.0 is said to be fast and faster! However, I am not finding it so. when I click on a link or open a tab, it is frustrating as the tab labors too long to open...I more than not click on reload, which appears to help somewhat. Any suggestions?
(3) - I've just printed out the Mozilla Support Q&A on the error message from Firefox stating that it cannot load the website...how to I remedy this, as it occurs constantly with my Yahoo mail login?
(4) Finally, several weeks ago I inadvertently popped the "HEALTH" Bookmark (I have a Bookmarks Toolbar), which is excellent (had it with WinXP also, now with Win7), but I seem to pop, double click, or something or other, that makes a bookmark folder jump into the wild blue yonder! I've posted for answers here and elsewhere, printed out and read all variable instructions to navigate and locate, all to no avail. More sage advice please?

It may be that the site stores your preference in a cookie, and you might have set Firefox to delete the cookie when you exit the browser. There are a few built-in ways to do this:
* Set Firefox to "Keep [cookies] until: I close Firefox" on the Privacy Options (you can create an exception for your mail sites)
* Set Firefox to "Clear history when Firefox closes" on the Privacy Options
* Use a private browsing window to visit your mail site
It's also possible that add-ons or external software may clean out cookies, or that there is a problem with the database file Firefox uses the store cookies.
For #2, did this problem just start recently? Do you notice any relationship with the type of site content (e.g., pages that use Flash or other media)? -
I plan to loan my iPod Touch to a friend here in the USA for one month to use on his trip to Europe. How can I keep my iTunes content and my account private, but enable him to create his own iTunes account to use on my iPod Touch? Also, do I need to de-register my iPod Touch for all of this to happen--and have him register my iPod Touch in his name for that month he is using it in Europe?

No mention of the Touch, it works differently from other iPods and has no "disk mode" as such.
I think it can be used as a storage device by using a 3rd party App, search the the App Store for such items.
Photos transferred to your Touch via iTunes will be of severely compromised quality i.e 640x480 pixel resolution and file size around 600-700 kb. These can be retrieved, again using a 3rd party application on your computer, such as [Touch Copy|http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy> but you will not get back original quality images.
