Help! I can't reply to e-mails because there's no send button.

I can create the message when I reply but I can't send it because it only allows me to save the draft. On what may be an unrelated matter, I don't receive all the e-mails that I'm supposed to get for my work e-mail. I have a blackberry e-mail and a work e-mail addy set up.

Try pulling your battery out...also Settings/Options/Advanced Options/Host Routing Table press menu key and choose "Register Now" it should come up and say "Registration message sent", just press ok and exit back to your main screen you should have a message.
Any further assistance is pretty much gonna require some further information...like are you using BlackBerry Internet Service? or are you on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server?

It would seem the IMAP or POP side is logged in bit the out going STMP server is not.

How can I reply to e-mails forwarded to my main e-mail address?

Hoping somebody can help.
I've been assigned an e-mail by an organisation I do voluntary work for occasionally ([email protected]) which is set up so that any e-mail sent to that address forwards to my main MobileMe e-mail address. I would like to be to reply to any e-mails received so that the 'from' field shows this same e-mail address.
I've tried to add it as a new account in Mail, however Mail tells me that I can't leave the 'incoming mail server' blank (which I obviously don't need) and so this isn't possible. As a workaround I tried writing 'nomail' here which at least enabled me to set up the account, however the downside is that Mail is now constantly reporting that there's a problem with this account (permanent warning triangle next to my In box) which is irritating.
So my question is, is there a neater way to answer this kind of forwarded e-mail account? I know these kind of accounts are quite common so Apple must have considered this!

The answer is more or less what you seem to have done, with a couple of added refinements. Set up a new account in Mail; give the Email address as that of the address in question. Enter any old garbage in Incoming Mail Server, User Name and Password, and set Outgoing Mail Server to use your ISPs server - this seems to be qhat you have done and is working - I assume you can send OK?
Now click on the 'Advanced' tab. Check 'Enable this account' (should be done already); Uncheck 'Include when automatically checking for new mail'. This will stop the error messages unless you manually get mail from all accounts.
Now in Mail Prefs click on 'Composing' in the toolbar. Set 'Send new messages from' to 'Account of selected mailbox'. This should recognize messages which have been forwarded from the other account and automatically set the 'From' address to the correct one (you can also do this manually from the menu in the header bar of the new/reply message pane).

Also having email issues. I used to be able to recieve and send mail through our outlook server. Now I receive messaes, but cannot send. It immediately reports it got an error trying to send and the message is stuck in my Outbox. I tried dropping the user account and recreating it. Interestingly, when I filled out all the login data, it said it could not verity my outgoing mail settings. I did have an error. I fixed it, and when I saved, it saved fine. However, I still cannot send emails. I got this phone to use for work, and this is killing me.

I can't change my e-mail because it's too close to my online ID

so my problem is, that my old e-mail address in no longer in use [Removed] and when I try to change that to my new one [removed] on Sony Entertainment Network's account manager, it gives me an error message "The Sign-In ID is too similar to the Online ID". And the online ID can't be edited, so what now?
Is my only solution to create a new e-mail account just for my PSN? And how come my old e-mail was acceptable and the new one isn't, since my nickname hasn't changed?

I have this exact problem and would love to know if there is a solution.
I changed my e-mail provider a while back, but use the same name before the '@' which is also the same as my online ID... the whole idea that my "e-mail addess/ID are too similar" thing seems a bit pointless. Don't most people use the same tag over the majority of platforms and websites?

Help! Can't update iwork and imovie because "You have updates available for other accounts".

I recently purchased Macbook Pro with iMovie, iwork keynotes, pages and numbers preloaded in the machine. Now the App Store icon indicates that I have updates available. So when I open up app store and click update, I got an warning stating " You have updates avaialbe for other accounts - to update this application, sing in to the account you used to purchase it".
I called tech support. I was told that I must have had another account. But clearly I don't have another account. I'm not alzheimer. If I had another account, I would have remembered it. I used the same account for ipod, iphone, itune for many many years. So I went on the support communities for help. I read some post saying I should add my hard drive to spotlight privacy, then remove it. I tried it, it didn't work. Some said I need to enable something by entering a script to the terminal. I followed the steps, it didn't work. Then some other post said that I should delete the apps, then reinstall it. So stupidly enough, I deleted keynotes to "TEST" if it works. Guess what? I completed removed keynotes from my macbook. I can't even recover it?! At least before I deleted it, I had the old version of keynotes although obsolete, still functional. Now I removed it, I don't even know how to reinstall it.
So, I'm so update and dying for help. Can someone please teach me how to make my Macbook understand that I only have one account and let me update iMovie and iwork? Also, how to restore the accidentally deleted Keynotes?

I have lost the ability to change fonts,use color and size and when I try to write anyone,I cannot see my mailing list and there is no send button.

A few months ago my ability to use different fonts, colors and sizes suddenly disappeared. These choices were always available when looking at my email and I used them regularly . No one I asked ever heard of such a thing happening. I left it alone until I found someone to help. Then, a few days ago, when I clicked "write" , two things happened. First, I could not forward, reply or even see my collected email addresses. Second, there was no longer a place that said "send". My email page filled the entire screen and when I scaled it down, there was still no way to see my list or to send. I am a novice when it comes to fixes and terms but, I have asked people who have some experience with PC's they were stumped. I contacted Fairpoint and they said it must be a Thunderbird problem. Most of the people I asked said they didn't know Thunderbird. One suggested that I reinstall T.bird but, said I also might lose everything on my PC. I would appreciate any help you can give. When you click Write and open the new message editor, press Alt to show the Menu Bar, then enable all the toolbars under View/Toolbars. Plus, press F9 to show the Contacts sidebar.

Mail wont let me click 'send' button

I have a problem and then some questions about my mail app.
Below is a screenshot of my problems, the main problem is it wont let me click the 'send' button.
The other problem is there is that triangly line symbol new to my windows live account and it always makes me put my password in.. I never had this mail send problem until a month ago and i've been too frustrated to brother to fix it until now.

Normally this is the result of not having any SMTP selected for the account. Check in Mail Preferences/Accounts/Account Information for whether a SMTP is currently selected for the account.
