HELP! I can't transfer my songs!
So with my old original model dock connector ipod I was having this trouble where after my powerbook transfered like 300 songs or so, i'd get an error message saying "the device cannot be read or written to". A few days later, my ipod broke for good. I got my new ipod, and I'm now having the same problem. Someone else who was having this problem said to download the ipod updater, which I tried to do. However, it won't let me download it to my ipod because it says I must have Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher. I have Mac OSX 10.3.9, but I tried downloading it again just in case. Nothing works. PLEASE HELP!
This may help try the trial version first

how can i transfer hindi songs from laptop (window ultimate) to new ipad ? pl. help
If you haven't already done so then download and install iTunes : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Add the songs into your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library
Connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Music - if you select that tab you can then select which of your iTunes music to sync to the iPad (it should sync to the Music app on the iPad).

how can i transfer my songs from my nano to a new itunes account because when i try to it tells me that i need to errase whatever is on the nanno ans then i can sync whats on my itunes but i want to put these songs and store them onto this new itunes acc
Your i-device was not designed to be a reliable unique storage for your media. It is not a backup device and everything is structured around you maintaining your media on a computer which is itself backed up. Sync transfer is one way, computer to device, matching the device content to the content on the computer. If the computer has nothing on it, the device is set to match the computer's content -- nothing. The exception is purchased content.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only media purchased from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will probably have to use third party commercial software unless you have an older model iPod. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):

I have an oder Ipod shuffle with many songs loaded on it. How can I transfer ths songs to a new computer since the old computer is no longer available?
I had the same problem with my iPad, i couldn't get the newer version of itunes because the computer was too old and my iPad couldnt sync with the old itunes. I got a PC from school a few months later so that solved the problem for me. Unfortunately i don't think there would be a program to put your music on your iPod, iTunes should be the only way to transfer files to Apple devices. What operating system are you running and what version of it is it?

I have a pc running vista and the hard drive crashed how can i transfer my songs from Ipod nano 5th gen to my new hard drive and into itunes
Right click on your device in the device list and choose "transfer purchses" to copy all music bought in iTunes to your new iTunes library.
For all other media you'll have to use 3rd party software, examples are mentioned in this thread:

How can i transfer my songs from iPod to iPhone
how can i transfer my song library from ipod to my iphone 4? the library on my computer from itunes is loaded with all my kids songs so i'd just like to transfer the songs on my ipod.
You cannot copy content from your iPod directly to your iPhone. It needs to be copied from your iPod to an iTunes library first and then synced the iPhone.

how can i transfer the songs to a usb
Restore it in iTunes on your computer.
There is a difference between registering with Apple and using it with iTunes. To register it (which isn't necessary) you would have to get the previous owner to de-register it. -
