Help, I can't unlock keypad on E71
Hi Guy’s,
I have a little problem that seems simple but its driving me mad. I have just got a new E71 and the first time I turned it auto key locked it self. When I follow the manual to unlocking the keypad it wont work. I have pulled the battery out and replaced it and it is still locked. If someone can help me that would be much appreciated. All the buttons seem to be working and I am starting to think it's software related. I have had the phone now for a day and cant even gain access to the thing.
I have just checked the E71 User Manual. To unlock keypad you press the left function key (left most key just below display) followed by the right function key (the right most key just below display). This should work.

The iphone4 I bought on Ebay was for AT&T, no contract. My family in El Salvador have the phone4 and have ask me to find out how to unluck it so they can use any carrier/sim card.
Can I have AT&T unluck by using the serial number of Phone since I never used it here in the U.S?

Hi, I'm new here and I am not happy with Blackberry. I live in France and bought my Blackberry through SFR. I am changing operator and want to unlock it. SFR told me I have to call Blackberry to get a code. That's nice, but there is NO phone for Blackberry in France that I can find on the web. Can anyone tell me who I have to call, or should I simply consider this phone as an expensive piece of junk?

When BBs are purchased through carriers, they are locked to that carrier. The carrier then issues the unlock code -- not RIM. What SFR therefore told you is not quite accurate...and your wrath is, therefore, perhaps misdirected...

There is no way to go back. You can try reseating your nanoSIM or replacing it. Or call your cell provider and have them check the provisioning on your phone.
Or Restore your iPhone from your backup in iTunes. -

Unlikely as you do not meet there requirements for unlocking.
Have your friend the provided the phone contact them. Based on your statements I am concluding he was or still is an AT&T customer, that is one of the requirements of getting the device unlocked. -

Same sad story here - the keys are screwed and it cycles away thru options all by itself until it is flat. It has become unusable because i can't even type in my security code. My E51 is 6 months old and now Nokia Care (on its second visit for the same problem) tell me it is badly affected by water and they cannot (or will not repair it). This is amazing I am on my 7th Nokia and this is the only dog. Does it suck moisture in ? - this phone has never been exposed to water except in normal use and environment circumstances. What a crock - from what I can find just trolling around on Google it appears the phone has a tendacy to take in moisture in the air in normal environments and that screws it. I suspect all of the problems with this model are tracable back it having poor moisture seals and we get to pay for it. What a disgraceful warranty - I am being done cold.

I Have a MacBook Pro 13, which I bought in 2010. I'm not really sure which version of operating system I do have, because I haven't updated it for a long time. I've changed my password recently and now I can't unlock it. It just jiggles and says that password is wrong. Then it asks the security question, but even doesn't work. Dear all, please hel!!
I sync my iphone ios 4 to another iphone ios5, sync was completed but after a few secs, the iphone with the IOS 5 firmware will auto restart and freezes at the home screen which I can't unlock. It will then freeze for a few secs before repeating the restart phase again and again and again.
To solve this issue, I have to hold the "home" + "off" button to restart the phone. Afterwhich, it will restart the phone. However, although my stuff are still on the phone, all my sms are gone.
Can someone please assist urgently.

Only if you're running Snow Leopard and your employer will allow access (different than iPhone/mobile device access, so most likely not), but not needed - keep reading.

No. It was true, but with the v3.0 software that changed - you can now sync your Exchange contacts and calendar over the air, and your Address Book and iCal via iTunes over the docking cable.

None needed. When you set up the exchange account, and choose to turn on syncing of contacts and calendars, you will be prompted to remove all other data, or keep it on the iPhone. Choose the keep option. Note that in that case, your personal data will not be uploaded to the Exchange server - the iPhone keeps them separate (although you can choose to view them in a merged fashion).
I have this set up on my phone (Exchange calendar along side personal and other calendars from iCal). Same for contacts. Works great. -
