Help, please. I cannot access to the panel control, he ask me the user and password but I don't remember to have change them! I tried with admin/admin but nothing, I tried to reset it with buttom for 5 sec. but nothing... I'm desperate!

I did the test you said, I can not! I tried with Safari and Firefox, I also deleted the cache. Although I do the reset for 20 seconds, it will not reset. O don't understand... I'm not a dummy
Your last option is to do the hard reset. That's done by pressing the reset button for 30 seconds while the device is powered on. Once done release the button and power off the device. After a while, plug it back in and reinstall the settings from scratch.

Cisco PI 1.3 cannot access to the WebUI with root user

Since this action, the root user cannot access to the webUI.
I do the command to reset root password but the user doesn't exist.
ncs password root password "password"

You can contact TAC for more details and workaround of the BUG
Did you upgarded from WCS to NCS > PI ?
If you are not concerned about the database then you can try the below steps :
1. ncs stop
2. ncs db reinitdb
3. ncs start
4. ncs password root password <newPasswd>

It sounds like you may be running Acrobat 11.0.07, is that correct? If so, please choose Edit > Preferences > General. In the entry Scale for Screen Resolution, choose 100%. Save your changes, and restart Acrobat. Did that do the trick?

My laptop is driving me crazy.
It seems I cannot access my website (hosted by siteground.com) either the cpanel for it. Tried to access over WiFi or cable , and no success.
However I can access the site, with any other device (desktop, android phone, ipad etc..)in the house, both over wifi and cable.
Have already spoken to my ISP company and they confirmed that everything is fine with the connection.

I read on the forums, that port80 may be closed ???? How do i do that and how do i unblock it.

HT201250 My mac cannot access to the backup disc since I started using os 10.7.4

Hi all,
Since I started using os 10.7.4, i cannot use time capsule to back up.
"The backup disk image “/Volumes/*************/*’s iMac.sparsebundle” could not be accessed (error -1)."
WIll this issue be fixed if I upgrade to Mountain Lion

I've tried but the situation is same.
First, back up disc is supposed to be appeared on the desk top when I start backing up but it's not.
For some reason I cannnot access to the back up disk.
I delete the old record in key chain and fix the name of network, my mac not to contain "'s".

I run firefox on windows 7 but in most sites I cannot access all the buttons, even to fill in this form I had to use explorer

I always used firefox but cannot use on this computer, in almost all pages there are buttons that I cannot click on, for example to make this request I had to use explorer becasue the line of menus on the top of firefox was not active and I could not click on SUPPORT
and this happens in most sites, it seems that all the buttons outside the main page are disabled or not clickable.
Maybe there is just some setting to enable or disable but I've no idea where to search.

Help, I cannot connect to the internet via airport with either my Imac or I-Pad. Connecting via ethernet works okay for Imac. I can connect wirelesssly with my windows laptop. I have reset my router, created a new network. It was all okay on Monday

Normally I have my IMac, I-Pad and Windows Laptop all working on my home network via wi-fi. This week I find that I cannot access the inetrnet on my IMac or I-pad via wi-fi but I can connect to the internet via wi-fi with my windows based laptop.
The airport diagnostics (reds/yellows) indcate that I am connected
I can access the internet if I plug my IMac into the router via an ethernet cable
I have restarted the IMac and the I-Pad, rebooted the router and created a new network. None of these changes has made a difference. Does anyone have any ideas please?

Were are the wireless controls on the VIXIA HF R400? The manua says what they do but not clear instructions on how to access it.

Using the CameraAccess app for iOS devices and Android smartphones, you can control the camcorder from a distance while you view the camcorder's image on the smartphone's screen. Not only can you control the camcorder to start and stop recording, you can also record the camcorder's image directly onto your smartphone. The CameraAccess app can be downloaded from either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. When this has been done:
1) Set the camcorder to receive remote control commands in the menu.
2) Activate WiFi on the settings screen.
3) Touch the access point with the same SSID as the one you saw earlier when you set the camcorder for remote control.
4) Enter the password.
5) Start the CameraAccess app.

Hi diesel vdub. Yes, thanks for the clarification re: app's - I was rather thinking that they are happily being shared on various iphones & pods in the household. But more importantly, why would I care to NOT have certain books automatically shared on my young adolescent daughters' devices? Because some of the books have grown-up content &/or titles that I'd rather they didn't yet set their eyes upon, that's why!
So I guess that leads to the question ... . Is it possible to pick and choose which ibooks are accessible to which devices?

Delete [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.

Please Help! - Cannot Access Or See External USB/Firewire Drive

Can anyone help or advise me as I’m really at a loss as how to fix a problem I have with my external hard drive and OX 10.4.6.
I had just completed a fresh install of OS X on my PowerPC iMac G5 using the “Erase & Install” feature.
Everything had gone extremely well, all my applications and settings had been re-set as I normally have them (I made backups) and was able to access my external hard disk, which is a Maxtor OneTouch USB/FireWire 250 GB model.
I then setup a second account for my brother, which I setup as a “Standard” account.
When I then went to access some of the files on my external disk and tried to copy them over to my Desktop, it refused me permission and said that I had to ask the permission of the “Owner’ which it said was Steve (my Brother) which was strange because as I said his account was only setup as a standard account whereas I had an administrator account (and am the main user of the computer).
I went into the Steve's account and looked at the Permissions information using the “Get Info” dialogue box. This showed that the owner was indeed Steve, so I changed it to my Name (Andrew) went back to my account, and found could no longer see the external disk at all.
Returning to Steve’s account I checked the permissions again, and asked it to ignore permissions.
But now I cannot see or access the disk at all in either account, it just does not show up on the desktop or in the Finder Sidebar.
The strange thing is I can see it in “Disk Utility” but when I ask it to either verify or Repair the Disk permissions, it reports that they are all or OK and “no repairs were necessary”.
I have tried connecting the disk with both types of connection - USB2 and the Firewire drive, and the results are exactly the same, the drive is not visible on the Desktop or the Finder Sidebar, but is visible to Disk Utility.
The disk is formatted as a ‘Mac OS Extended (Journaled) drive
Can anyone please tell me how I can get my external disk to show on my computer again, as ALL my backup documents and programs are on the disk, and most of the data cannot be replaced.
Would doing a complete fresh install of the OS X operating system fix this as a last resort?
I hope someone can advise, as I really am desperate.

Yes, I didn't think it was very good either!
You are correct in I should have said "Repair Disk" - Verify Permissions is not available on the maxtor drive ( it is dimmed) in Repair Disk.
Until now, the drive has worked perfectly, and I did not install any of Maxtors software when I originally connected the drive to this system, I just formatted it as a Mac Extended and it worked great. It was only after the fresh Erase & Install - even then it worked fine. It was only when I created a new account that the problem started.
What I have done is get hold of a demo version of a program called "Mac Drive 6" which allows you to read any Mac formatted disk or drive on a Windows system, - fortunately i still have my Windows XP Pro system which I have also connected to my home network.
So for the next four days (the length of the demo) I can access all of my files on the disk and copy them to my Windows system.
This is really great because I have all my data and images back which were my biggest concern.
I thought I might get another drive anyhow, and when I have everything backed up on a new drive and on the Windows system, I can then reformat the Maxtor drive and start afresh with it.

Your definitely trying to optimize the wrong thing here. There is no way to get a free and cheap reference access to a user interface control on the front panel.
The DVR doesn't link to an UI control for one thing, so it falls off your list already.
The Control Refnum has to deal with race condition protection and all that, so it is indeed slow.
The local indicator is not available in a subVI.
The User Event Refnum is the logical choice here, but you don't like it.

Even in C you can't just go and access a GUI at will through a pointer reference. Any well designed GUI framework will require you to call object methods passing the data explicitedly, or sendinig some form of message to the control. Such is life. GUIs are not meant to update Megabtyes of data several times every second anyhow. Humans are only able to grasp a very small number of data points per second so any GUI trying to transport more data to a user is usually pretty misdesigned.
