Help!: I clicked the gestures from the white circle and accidentally pressed something and now 4 blue circles appeared on my screen and I can't open my iPod.
I don't know what to do, I don't want to restore it and make the songs go away..
Nyet. Anywho, I managed to fix it just now hehe. i just suddenly pressed the assistive touch(white circle thingy) then clicked gestures and accidentally clicked one of those number things. My screen just showed blue circles and I am unable to do anything so, I just pressed the home button and power button together and ignored the "slide to turn off" (or so). Then everything went back to normal...

When I download word docs my MacBook is adding the flv extension onto the doc extension and I can't open the doc. Any ideas?
Go to the main Library folder and look for a folder called Application Support / Microsoft.
There are a few folders in there, and you may have to do some digging. In one of them (mine is called MAU2.0), there should be a file called Microsoft Autoupdate. Open it.
It looks like this:
check the button for manual updates.
That should let you open the apps without triggering an automatic update. -

If still problem try the remaining items of:

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

I'm unable now to play the music in my iTunes playlists. 90% of the tunes have exclamation marks now and I can't 'locate' the music. How can I locate the music or remove the exclamation marks on my iTunes music list?Typical reasons for missing files are, you've deleted the files, they are on a disconnected external drive, or the drive has a changed drive letter, you've moved the folder where the files live in some other fashion, a third party app has rearranged the files, or iTunes has got confused about the layout they are supposed to be in.
Generally you need to work out what has happened, reverse the action and everything will be alright again. If it is something you can't/don't want to undo, e.g. a drive letter change, then as long as you can track down the current location of the folder containing the media then my script FindTracks should be able to reconnect it to iTunes.

The PSD file downloads fine, and when I go to open, the file picture shows up as a white background and Photoshop doesn't seem to open the file in the software.
Where are you "downloading" this PSD from?
Which ver of Photoshop are you using?
Is the file you're downloading created with a compatible ver of Photoshop?
Is the file zipped by any chance? Did you use your decompression utility to unzip it?

Help! buttons not working, scroll is not working, and I can't reset my iPod
I hope someone can help me.
The play/pause button is not working and on the odd occasion it does - it actually scrolls through the songs backwards.
The backward/forward buttons don't work either.. and when they do.. it's usually on go to backwards.
The Menu button works - fat lot that's helping me.
I can't reset my iPod either and I've tried the 5 steps in reset.
Sometimes I can scroll forwards if I press the select and forward button together. Click Wheel is also not working 99% of the time.. the odd time it did work.. it was really choppy.
Needless to say, I can't turn off my iPod since 99% of the time, it does not recognize the play/pause button.

I have tried the help menu. It only shows how to open the track info pane in the old garageband. It shows the info button, which is not in garageband anymore. I need to open the track info pane to change the input level. If there is another way to do this please tell me.
Open the "Smart Controls" for your track, and then press the Info button .
The "record level" slider is at the top of the Info panel below the track heads. -

Move the domain.sites file from one computer to the other.
The file is located under User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites. Move this file to the same location on the other computer and double click and iWeb will open it. Remember, it is your User Library that you want and not your System Library, as you will not find iWeb there.
Just create a new site on the same domain file and it will appear below the other site. If you want them side by side then duplicate your domain file and have one site per a domain file and they can then be side by side.
