HELP!!! I do the yearbook for my elementary school. I took a lot of pictures on my Canon EOS rebel

HELP!! I do the yearbook for my elementary school.  I took a lot of photos on my Canon EOS rebel t3i and was transferring them to my computer when I get impatient.  I pulled the disc out of the computer while it was still trying to read it.  Then I put it back in the computer to try to start over.  When that didn't work I put the disc into the camera to see if I could read them there.  The photos did not show in the camera so making things even worse I took a picture to see if it was working at all.  I was able to take a picture but it said that only 1 picture was on the disc.  Then I put the disc back into the computer and it came up showing the icons for the original photos but kept spinning and spinning and didn't do anything.  Now it won't even do that much but what happens now is I get the DCIM folder like normal, then the 100CANON folder and then a folder that says  ╟/ 0A1.u when i try to open that folder it says, "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."  Is there any hope for getting the pictures back or making this disc useable again?  Thank you for your time and your help!  I feel like saying, "Help me o b canon experts you're my only hope!"

Well, first may I say I think it is appalling that an elementary school would ask a kid between the ages of 6 and 11 like yourself to shoulder such a responsibility.  Budget cuts are what they are, but kids should not be expected to pick up the slack.  You have done remarkably well under these shocking circumstances.  And you write way beyond your age group, which is a credit to yourself and your teachers.
You should tell your parents to contact their state congressman and demand that they increase funding for schools, or else drop the yearbook program.

    Compare with on-line stores. The full version is often cheaper than Adobe's upgrade price.

    Hello, it's been 5 days now since my imessage has not working..and i have chatted to the costumer for two times. I took thier advice and instructions just to enable to send and receive on it but unfortunately until now its still NOT working. Is there anybody who could help me please?

    Try this even if you have already.  Just make sure to follow the steps specifically.
    Go to settings > Facetime > send and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out.  If your not signed in then that will work as well.
    Go to settings > Messages > sent and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out.
    Restart the iPad by doing the slide to power off setup.  Just hold the power button on the top right till it turns off.
    After the iPad has been restarted:
    Go to settings > Facetime > and sign in
    Go to settings > Messages > and sign in
    Wait about 3 min then restart the iPad again.  Same instructions as above.
    When you restart you should be able to use messages again.  If not then call support again and talk to someone higher than the first level support they have.

    You need camera raw 8.4 for your camera, if it’s Digital Rebel T5 EOS 1200D EOS Kiss X70. It is not compatible with PSE11; so it’s a bit odd if that software was bundled with the camera except that it will work with jpegs. I suggest you download and install the free Adobe DNG converter to convert your CR2 files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the DNG files will editable in PSE11(keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)
    Mac download (.dmg file) click here DNG Converter 8.4
    You can convert a whole folder of raw images in one click. See this quick video tutorial:

  • Is the canon eos rebel t3i compatible with Mac osx 10.9.1?

    Is the canon eos rebel t3i compatible with Mac osx 10.9.1?
    I am trying to transfer my photos from my camera to my Mac.
    I have downloaded the software for the camera to my Mac BUT it cannot transfer the photos.
    EOS Utility states that it cannot be used with this version of the operating system.
    I am running on OSX 10.9.1
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.

    I would try uninstalling the canon software and then just plug your camera into your Mac. iPhoto should be all the software you should need.

  • Looking for help to update the certificate for my Exchange Email Account...

    I'm trying to update the certificate for my Exchange Email Account...Dell had me delete the account, install the new certificate on my phone, and set up the email again...But it still won't work and acts like it can't find/use the new cert.  Any suggestions besides a hard resest of the phone?

    That's a great question, LSchmitz!
    Is the e-mail account on your cell phone? Which device? If its on your phone, an Exchange e-mail, may need to be provisioned/ set up by your employer/ IT department.

  • Help in defining the datastructures for a problem

    Hi there,
    I am a newbie to Java programming and would like to get some feedback on how I can proceed with a problem I have at hand. I have to maintain the objects information in the memory for a SITE. SITE has side id, site name, and a site will be related to devices (one or more devices). Devices will have information such as is it alive what is the frequency of its alive signal coming to the server. These information have to be in-memory all the time so that at any point of time I would have to pick the device alive signal and process the neccesary tasks such as send an email to user whose device is not working. (email information for each device as well will be maintained in the memory). What kind of data structure can I use to acheive this scanerio. I was thinking of HASHTABLE but I am unable to get any samples that can explain the HASHTABLE usage. If anyone could help me in getting the right information it will be really helpful.
    Thanking you in advance
    regards
    John

    Hi,
    This solution is based on few assumptions.
    Hope u know abt a value object.
    If u dont know, Value object is just a java class which contains few properties and getter and setter methods for getting and setting the values of properties. In ur case the value object may look like this.
    public class Device {
    private boolean alive;
    public void setAlive(boolean alive) {
    this.alive = alive;
    public boolean getAlive() {
    return alive;
    and so on for all the properties u need to check for devices.
    --> I think there will be only 1 device of a particular type. i.e., we will not be using 2 instances of the same device. Then for each device use a value object and set it properties and save it in HashMap with a name.
    For example:
    Let the device be Mortor(Just an example)
    Device d = new Device();
    d.setAlive(true);
    and set all other properties.
    Then put the object into HashMap as follows.
    HashMap map = new HashMap();
    map.put("Motor", d);
    in the same way u can keep all ur devices with a name and value pair.
    When ever u want to get that device, u can use as follows
    Device d = (Device)map.get("Motor");
    and u can work on the device "d" using getters.
    in case if we want to use 2 instances of the same device then add the 2 instances to ArrayList and u can retrieve from arraylist when ever u want.
    Hope I am clear

  • F4 Help to get the path for a File source directory

    There are numerous function modules for browsing a particular file in desktop and getting the file path (including the fine name)  , like F4_FILENAME , KD_GET_FILENAME_ON_F4 , WS_FILENAME_GET etc. But can anyone tell me how to fetch only the directory path to the field were the F4 help is given. Actually the filename has to come in some other field in the selection screen. Is there separate funtion modules for these OR will changing parameters in the above function modules work?
    Pls Help....
    Also are there function modules for providing F4 help for getting the path to a file in application directory?

    Try this method CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES.
    It is a Global CLASS which is having different methods for different purposes
    see the documentation of it and use the methods of it
    see
    CL CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES
    Short Text
    Frontend Services
    Functionality
    The class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES contains static methods for the following areas:
    File functions
    Directory functions
    Registry
    Environment
    Write to / read from clipboard
    Upload / download files
    Execute programs / open documents
    Query functions, such as Windows directory, Windows version, and so on
    Standard dialogs (open, save, directory selection)
    Example
    Determine the temp directory on your PC:
    DATA: TEMP_DIR TYPE STRING.
    CALL METHOD CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>GET_TEMP_DIRECTORY
    CHANGING
    TEMP_DIR = TEMP_DIR
    EXCEPTIONS
    CNTL_ERROR = 1
    ERROR_NO_GUI = 2.
    IF SY-SUBRC 0.
    Error handling
    ENDIF.
    flush to send previous call to frontend
    CALL METHOD CL_GUI_CFW=>FLUSH
    EXCEPTIONS
    CNTL_SYSTEM_ERROR = 1
    CNTL_ERROR = 2
    OTHERS = 3.
    IF SY-SUBRC 0.
    Error handling
    ENDIF.
    WRITE: / 'Temporary directory is:', TEMP_DIR.
    Notes
    The class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES is based on the Control Framework. See the documentation for more information, in particular on CL_GUI_CFW=>FLUSH which must be called after many CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES methods.

  • Please Help me fix the css for font colors in this menu!

    I have finally figured out how to make my drop down menu work, but I need some help troubleshooting this code. I have fiddled with the code for several hours and have still been unable to fix it. My issue is that I have been unable to distinguish between the top level links and the dropdown menu links. I want the dropdown menu links to be a light cream color. However, they are being displayed as the same color as the hover color.
    Here is the webpage loaded online: www.theriveroverlook.com/Trial.html
    If you hover over "Accomodations", you will see the issue. The green color of the hovered links is also being displayed in the lower level menu. This makes them unable to be read easily and presents a problem.
    Here is applicable css code:

  • Need help in Developing the Smartform for Delivery notes

    I'm developing the smartform for tcode vl02n.
    My question is when writing the print program which is the best way :
    1) By making use of standard print program RLE_DELNOTE
    2) developing from scratch by declaring my own types and subroutines as per my requirement.

    Hi,
    Welcome to SDN.
    I would always recommend start with the standard print program.  Most requirements can be satisfied by working with a copy of the standard form called by the standard program.

  • Help in deciding the GUI for my project..

    Hi,
    Earlier in this forum for the same question some of you had given very useful replies.. My doubt now is which IDE should i use for my project ( project scheduler in a client/server environment) . I first decided it as Eclipse and then for my project's GUI i thought of using SWING but after reading some threads in other forums i understood that if ECLIPSE is being used then you can't use SWING for GUI am i right????? and please tell me which is the fastest way to build a GUI ??? for my project i also want to add some gantt charts so my GUI should also be compatible with it... so any suggestions ?????

    kavi_g wrote:
    hey thank you all for your replies that was really helpfull.. I can now continue with my projects without any confusion..
    As for J2EE, if you're making an enterprise app, might it not make more sense to use servlets or jsp to make a web-based GUI, instead of making a desktop app?
    - AdamDO you mean to tell you can use SWING to build only for desktop applications???? Using servlets and jsp with embedded HTML for GUI will be fine but it wont have that high level GUI which is needed for my project.. Correct me if i am wrong...I would say that you are incorrect on both counts. You certainly can use swing for web-based applications, if you want to make an applet, and embed that in the web page. I have done that before, when the situation called for it. However, when it's feasible to use jsp, I would say that jsp is the better option.
    Also, the capability for rich, highly interactive GUIs in javascript has always been there. It's just taken a long time for people to reach it's potential. AJAX is a good technology to look into. And there's tons of open-source material on the web for creating GUI widgets above and beyond those provided by HTML. It's really a question of your relative skill in java / javascript, and how much time you have.
