Help!! I downloaded the update last night, and now my phone wont even turn on!
I downloaded the update last night for my Pearl Flip, and it did the usual (turn on/turn off) during the update.
When it was finished it turned off-figured it had to reboot to take effect-now it has a new hour glass on the main screen when you open it up, and wont get past the 'app world error' reset page.
It thinks/thinks/thinks and takes me about 20-30min to get the error. I've done the reset it asks me to (mainly b/c thats the only option).
So I think it's reseting, then I get the same darn thing. HELP
Yikes...a 200 error...while the official KB for that is not presently available, the usual fix is to reload your OS...something during the update did not go right.

Hopefully, you already have a good backup of your data...because it is already gone.

If that doesn't help it may pay to tear down and reinstall iTunes in the following manner...
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Good Morning,
I just did a software update on my phone (finally) last night and now my phone will not come on. It keeps showing the charger pointing up to a blue circle with iTunes inside and will not go any further. Can ANYONE help me please???The phone is in restore mode and the picture is telling you what to do. Connect the phone, by cable, to iTunes in the computer you normally use for syncing, and retore the phone.

I gotten to notification to upgrade,i downloaded the stuff last night and it's not installing;my pc
i got the notification to upgrade to windows 10,i downloaded the stuff last night and today and i installed yet when i went into the control pandel it said "updae failed" and i saw the error code "8001004e" i did this around 2o times before but i was sure when i gt the ntification it would work. all the software is active,none had to be removed;avg is on,my pc has a problem it doesn't restart it shutds down leaving the power on,could that be the cause of not being able to upgrade to windows 10? i was very excited to get this new version
You can bypass the failed update system by downloading it and using a Thumbdrive to upgrade it get a 16GB. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 I also have one machine fail because it had a small system partition of 100MB I used a free tool to move the partitions around gave the system on 12gb.

I just updated my phone last night while I was sleeping and because of the update my reliable fast charging cable stopped working. Guess what happened...my alarm didn't go off because my phone was dead. I have tried 3 different chargers and they don't work. I was dissapointed with the first IOS 7 update and now I'm mad. I have always been an apple supported for 20 years. They need to fix this IOS now or I will never buy another IPhone again. Just reverse these horrible "updates". Please give advice if anyone can, thanks

Updated ipod last night and now when turned on tells me to coonect to itunes (picture of usb cable with arrow to itunes). I can't connect to itunes on computer because apple application support can't be found. Tells me to uninstall then reinstall itunes. Will I lose all my music or is it still on my ipod?
Under normal circumstances, an uninstall/reinstall doesn't touch your content. (That being said, it's still always a good idea to maintain a current backup at all times in case of disasters.)

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)

How do I get out of recovery mode, that my ipod touch suddenly went into, after updating last night? It does not recognize my ipod anymore and I don't want to restore it back to factory conditions. I have tons of things on the ipod and don't want to lose them! Is there any other way to get out of this 'recovery mode'??
No. You have to restore. To allow the restore try the following:
- A reset.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Manually placing the iPod in Recovery Mode
- Placing the iPod in DFU mode.

- If you can't turn the iPod off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. -
Last night on my phone i insalled the neew software ios6 and this morning when i woke up and it has done was show the silver apple and the loading symbol thing. The loader hasnt moved from its position since its been on. I dont know what to do to get my phone to turn back on and i need it extremely bad. Please help me!

The steps detailed below can help stabilize your iPhone.
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. I just updated my phone this morning. It's the new update for the apple watch. I have a 2015 honda fit with honda link. I usually play my spotify through the ''ipod'' source because it shows all of the song information. Since the update it will not play through the i pod source even if it is plugged into the car. Can anyone tell me how to either make the song information show up when I play it through bluetooth or how to make it play through the i pod source again?

as listed in the title, my phone just flashes on me no start up just flashes from the apple logo to shutting off and back and forth i did the update this afternoon (9-26-2012) and it still wont start up!!!
Something in your backup may be corrupt. Try wiping it and setting it up as a new device, then sync your apps, data and media back to it from iTunes. DO NOT resotre from your backup. If the problem is contained in the backup, it will bring it right back again if you restore.

Can anyone help? Im running 4.2.1 on a iphone 3gs... trying to update to 6.2.1. I did the update but now I cannot finish... it says it cannot at this time. I tried through itunes and through wifi but keep getting the same message... cannot at this time try again in a few minutes. I been trying for days. id be happy just to get back to 4.2.1 but don't know how. Can anyone help me please
That's almost always because the phone was hacked to unlock it at some point, or because you don't have a SIM card in the phone.

Mozilla updated last night and now crashes on update. It does not start in safe mode.
I run WIndows Vista and have never had a problem with Mozilla before.
This happened two nights ago as well. My IT departmnt does not support Mozilla but last time agreed to install a previous version. Problem solved. They will not help again. Again, extremely slow movie downloads from itunes store
I'm on broadstripe cable and I'm speed testing at about 5.6-6.0 for downloads.... internet pages load fine, etc. When renting a movie on itunes through appleTV I have to wait hours for the movie to download so i can watch it. Any ideas? Thanks!
