Help i dropped my ipod in the sink!!

i droped it in the sink and now it keeps turning off and on....please wat can i do it got wet but i grabbed it in lyk 2 seconds will it go back 2 normal if i leave it alone i swear it was only in there a secong with a case on it

Leave it alone and let it dry out for a couple/few days.

I put my ipod on charge when i took it out, because it turned off when it was in the toilet and my lock button doesnt work so that is the only way it would turn on. it didn't turn on, but it still charges, as i can feel it overheating. any help on how to turn it back on? Will it ever come back on? Thanks.

If not dry then dry in a sealed container of desiccant like uncooked rice and periodically change the rice.
Do not charge or use until dry. Your iPod may be permenently damaged by trying to use it when still wet.

Put it in a zip lock bag with dry uncook white rice and leave it there for at least a week
If after week it still doesn't work take it to Apple for a replacement

There are companies that specialize in data retrieval but it's costly (probably cheaper to buy a new iPod) and more than likely as Allan said, your circuits are probably damaged beyond all hope of retrieving anything. It's worth calling Apple you maybe able to get a discount or a refurbished iPod. Can't hurt to ask, Good luck. (And in the future... no texting in the john.) Sorry, couldn't resist it.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try on another computer
