Help! I had to uninstal and then re-instal the Canon Pixma MG 3220 printer. Now, I cannot find the L shaped toolbar. It doesn't exist. Is there some way to get it installed on to my computer Windows 8.1????

Adobe Reader won't open Tried installing updated Adobe Reader and error came up in the process and told me to contact software manufacturer. Could I uninstall current Adobe Reader and then try installing the current AR? Any ideas?

Here's the situation. I received a text while I was talking on the phone. Went right to text, then could not get back to the screen. After trial and error, I discovered a little green message at the top of the phone that said "Touch to return to call". Problem solved.

So I've started my quest for the correct information and software required to completely erase and then re-install the OS on my G4 Power PC (Quicksilver 2002) roughly 2 days ago only to be stuck and very frustrated! So I could more than likely figure this out on own BUT the OS currently installed is so screwed up I cant even safe mode start it.. so I cant get the information I need from the "about this Mac" details if it were running. Is there another way to figure the correct OS X and build I'll need to reformat. I just want to return it to it's factory state and then give it to my kid. Quit the Creative Cloud application and relaunch it again. When the CC app gets launched it scans through the installed applications and updates it's "Apps" tab accordingly. After this you can install Illustrator from the APPS tab.

I have tried repairing with the disk utility, resetting PRAM, booting in safe mode (which gave a subset of the errors that 'disk repair' did- namely- 'invalid sibling link,invalid record count, invalid node structure, invalid key length) and finally trying to get to archive&install the o/s, but it cannot find the destination volume. TS1717 I tried updating iTunes and now I get an error. I followed instructions to uninstall and then reinstalled but the error I get Is "Error 7 (Windows error 193)" - anyone help?

Error 7 (Windows error 193) was received when I just tried to update iTunes on my Windows 7 computer. I've uninstalled and tried twice to reinstall and I get the same message. Does anyone have any additional suggestions? During install I do get a message about the mobile device but I do not have iTunes on my mobile phone.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

How do you uninstall and then re-install iMovie?

I posted here last week about having trouble with iMovie and still can't figure out why it is being so lame... SO. I was thinking that I may just unload and then reinstall the program. Would anyone recommend that or is that a bad idea? I guess I will lose all the projects I've done thus far but I suppose it would be worth it to be able to use the program again! How would I go about doing this?

ImportExportTools is good for saving/backup of your mail. For what you want, probably the zipped folders would be the easiest. You can export your address book(s) to a file (use LDIF; it's much easier to import later).
However, these are only pieces of the profile. With TB NOT running, you can copy your entire profile to another location/medium just by doing a file copy. Look at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb#w_how-to-find-your-profile I copy mine to a USB memory.
When you uninstall and reinstall TB, you will not be changing your profile! So if you want a really clean start, see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-multiple-profiles to create a new/clean profile. Don't delete your old one; you may need parts of it.
If things are still 'wonky' after a new start, let me know.

I'm using Windows 8.1 and could not open pdfs (or indeed open Acrobat XI Pro at all). I have CS6 Master Suite, and I seem to recall Acrobat coming with that purchase, whether it's officially part of CS6 or not.
Forums suggested uninstalling and re-installing Acrobat. I've uninstalled but am now struggling to find where/how to re-install Acrobat from my account on Adobe.com.
Any pointers please?

I only have one serial number, and that's the one I got when I purchased CS6 Master Suite. Acrobat XI seemed to come as part of this.
But when I use my CS6 serial number, the Acrobat installer doesn't like it.
To my knowledge, I don't have any other serial numbers at my disposal.
Any ideas?

Maverick has messed up my computer. Slow scrolling in I photo. Bookmark icons are blue all the time and not marked with the company symbols. I cannot find out how to solve this.

I switched to Mavericks two weeks ago and have had nothing but troubles. Scrolling in I photo is slow and very inaccurate. When I click and drag a photo the ones above it all flicker, making it hard to find where to put it. My bookmarks bar Icons are all blue. Before they used to show the symbol for the company they represented. Now I click on one, it changes to what I want, then a few minutes of hour later, it goes back to the blue ball, which I hate. My font size is different with every page and I have to click Zoom in all the time. I tried adjusting it in Preferences in Advance settings on the right, but this does not solve the problem permanetly. I have one web page, a hockey one, which tries to load, then I get either a black page or a white one. Driving me nuts. I need some help. Been to Apple at the store, talked to them on the phone for four hours last week. Rebuilt the I photo library with no luck. Would appreciate any help. Please Thanks. I even keep a fan behind my computer to keep it cool, that is how much I look after this baby. Some say it might be Safari? Not sure. I have little computer experience, so please it you are kind enough to reply, do not use tech talk or short forms as I will not understand any of it.

I have a few of your issues as well: 1) Safari popular icons are all bue making them very hard to distinguish from each other. 2) My font size is also different with each page / window. What I have been able to find out is that in the Maverick OS - Apple removed one size of display resolution 2048 x 1152. Whether this is the cause of my 27" screen clarity & font size issues, I do not know - but it seems like a contributing factor. Maybe help is on the way - maybe not. Cheers
