Help... I have a problem at the lauching of imovie
I have an error problem when i launch imovie... I've been using this software for 6 month... without any problem... but since yesterday when i launch i have a dialogur box saying :
"Connection failed
The server may not exist or it is not operational at this time. Check the server name or IP address and your network connection and try again."
I have download all the up grade... everything.
I am currently in holiday in Dominican Republic and i need the software to empty my hd camcorder.... So if somebody can help me....

My project are on the hard drive of this laptop... Like my events... I think it is just one file which is one another laptop... And at home i am always connected.
I don't understand why i can not open... Because, when a file is missing usually i can open but imovie show that a file is missing.
I've try maybe more than 40 time to open... but imovie is always displaying the same message.. and the only thing that is can do is : OK.... and then again the same message....
Please Help.... I have try to open with ctrl, with alt... nothing....
Is there a way to open without this.. message.

hello everyone...I got my very first macbook pro just today and i have a problem deleting the "test" user account. if i can't delete it, the system won't let me turn off the system. I don't know what to do! HELP!!!!
Have you created another admin user? Go to system preferences click users and click the + to add a user; if you haven't already. Once you have another admin user other then the "test" user make sure you're signed out of the test user account. Sign in with the alternate ADMIN USER that you just created or had created already and go back to SYSTEM PREFERENCES and click the same USERS icon near the bottom. Now select the TEST user and click the - sign. This should prompt you if your sure you want to delete the user account. And your done.
New User created and Test User deleted... I hope this helps. -

There is no pop up. There is a window that is part of the installation process. If you entered a wrong number, like a redemption code, you would have wound up installing it as a trial. In that case, go to the Help menu in the editor and look for an option there.

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again. -
I udate my os to 10.6.7 and since then my Pages have color problems. The text is not visible (white on white background) it does'nt help to change the text color nor background color. I just download the recent trail version of Iworks and install it. The first document I opened it was ok. When I open the second one the problem appear again and stayed. Pls help
This behavior was described many times.
In every occurrence,the operating system was an uncompleted one resulting of the use of Software Update to update the operating system to 10.6.2, 10.6.3, 10.6.4, 10.6.5, 10.6.6, 10.6.7.
In such cases, the solace was to apply a combo updater.
As you are using 10.6.7, download and apply the combo 10.6.7 :

Hello,
I take it you haven't unticked any of the songs listed on your iTunes Library? Also have you tried selecting all your songs which you wish to add to your iPod, and dragging them over your Devices "iPod Nano"; and seeing if that copies all songs on to your iPod?
Another idea is just check that your iPod has enough space for the rest of your songs to be added to your device.
