HELP i have and ipod nano3 but cannot download music or view its contents
i currently have everythin updated my computer recognizes my ipod but i cannot see the contents of my ipod nano 3rd generation like music,calendar,notes,videos etc... i also cannot download my purshased music from itunes store i can download music to IPOD SHUFFLE but cant with IPOD NANOO please i really need help help me out im not feeling good at all i get upset very easily i really wanna find a solution i will

If your computer's operating system is Windows 2000, then, it's not compatible with iPod, you can only use it to charge the iPod. This is clearly said in Apple's iPod web site.
Try another PC that runs XP or Vista.

You can download your file by logging in to your account at cloud.acrobat.com and clicking the Files tab. Find your file, and select it. Then, click the Download File icon at the top of the window (looks like an in-box with a down arrow). Your file will download to the Downloads folder on your computer.

If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.

I am trying to create a new apple ID. And I do not yet have a credit card. So I would like to know how I can make this apple ID without having to worry about having credit card information. My ipod is the big one where you cannot even download apps onto it yet. Please help.
You don't need an Apple ID to use a "classic" iPod. You only need a computer (Mac or PC) that can run iTunes. If your iPod is older, your computer does not even need to run the latest version of iTunes. You can add songs to your iTunes library from music CDs, and song files you have already. Then sync the iPod to that iTunes library.

When you say you get an error message running the MacOS x installer disc, is it when you boot on the CD or when you insert the disc in your SuperDrive during an open session? Have you tried booting from the CD and running the Apple Hardware Test? From your list of trouble, it looks like a bad RAM, or maybe a corrup hard drive sector, but it could be something else entirely. Next time you boot, try verbose (press Command-V right after the gong), you'll see every step of boot on screen, it'll give some indication as to what makes your MBP hang up. You can also try to run AppleJack in Single-User mode (first install AppleJack ; download from here : http://applejack.sourceforge.net/ ; install as admin is required ; boot in SU by pressing Command-S at the gong): it's done wonders on my machine more than once...
"Oh, one more thing"... Is there anything connected to your MBP via USB/Firewire/Bluetooth? If so, try and unplug/disconnect everything, then boot up, just so we can rule a bad driver out. -
I have an eligible computer but cannot download snow leopard.
I have a mac book pro 13" mid 2009 with 8 gb ram and 11 gb of free disk space but when I try to download snow leopard from the app store it does a little and then stops without expaination.
I have a disk capacity of 159gb and I have 10.8 free.
If 10.8 GB is all you've got left on a 159 GB drive, you'd better clean at least another 10 GB off. All modern OS's (Windows, Linux and others included) need a fair amount of breathing room for swap, data and cache files. 10 GB is not enough room, strange as that may sound.
Actually I have found the problem, its the BT router won't let me.
Any router could care less how much data is going through it, when set up normally. There's only two real possible reasons I can think of at the moment.
1) Your ISP has a daily data limit and is cutting you off at 80 MB.
2) Some routers have settings you can change to limit any computer you want to a set amount of data per day, hour, whatever you want. Check to see if someone has set such a limit. -

I have a Ipod Touch 5G and a Ipad 4th Gen with a Bose sound dock with a 30 pin adapter. I have tried several connectors but cannot get any audio on the sound dock. Do you have any suggestions?
Have you tried this adapter from the Apple on-line store http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD823ZM/A/lightning-to-30-pin-adapter?fnode=3c They also have one that uses a cord to connect the dock to lightning that is $10 more.

Using windows 8 - receive message "ipod detected but cannot be identified properly" when connecting ipod nano 7th gen. Have unisntalled and reinstalled itunes from apple site as advised with no luck. Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it please?

I have created an iMovie but cannot share it. I have looked at the help menu and have tried to follow these instructions but cannot get the sharing button to open anything.
Do you have MacKeeper installed? If so, you need to uninstall it. There is a known issue where MacKeeper disables all the sharing functions from the new iMovie.
Uninstall MacKeeper, then re-install iMovie.
Keep MacKeeper uninstalled. -
i have a broken desktop which had my itunes account on it.

HELPiTunes as you see it in the application window uses a series of files and folders contained in the iTunes folder. Some people make the mistake of only backing up their media in which case all you have is a bunch of media files without the iTunes structure. In that case you have to build a new library yourself.
What exactly do you mean "not recognized"? The phone does not show up on the computer at all, or it does but it says it will wipe the phone? The wipe the phone stuff is again because it cannot find the original library to which it was synced. You need to transfer the entire iTunes folder from the old computer or the backup you made of it.

It sounds like your Click Wheel iPod is showing a sad iPod icon. If it will go into Disk Mode you may be able to restore it, take a look at the article and quote below for more information about the alert and possible resolutions.

Resolution
In most cases, the sad iPod icon indicates a hardware issue. If you are able to force iPod into Disk Mode, then it may not be a hardware issue, and you should try to restore your iPod with the latest software.
